A couple of years ago this was a great place for perfect New York pizza and related items. Now, not so much. The last three times I've been here have been terrible. Garlic knots?? Nope they're little hard buns with a little garlic butter poured over them. Waste of money three visits - not just an off night. Pizza the same way. No taste to the sauce. Sausage? Not good Italian sausage like you find on NY pizza. Their calzones at the last visit didn't measure up either - and that's not an easy one to mess up. If you're looking for good authentic NY Pizza, SKIP this place. It will disappoint. The service is slow and the place is so loud you can't hear the person next to you talk. Five stars! My family of four came here hungry and Lil' Anthony's did not disappoint. Giant portions of amazing pasta with the most delicious garlic knots that come with your meal. We also tried their Stromboli and dirty bread. We left so satisfied. The service was happy and easy going. Reminded me so much of New York. We watched an amazing Florida sunset from the window. The website did not have prices either which was strange too. I guess this place may be okay in store, however the costumer service amounts to nothing if not directly there.. Pizza is good, everything else is very disappointing (food, service, prices etc). I've been coming here for over 5 years. The first 4 years I always just ordered pizza for pickup and never had an issue with the food itself as the pizza has always been good. There were a few times when I showed up and the pizza wasn't ready until 30 minutes after they told me it would be though. Over the last year, I started dining in the restaurant and have had issues every time I have been there, ex: the bill coming and prices not matching what the menu shows (which they said too bad prices changed and we didn't fix the menu), food taking entirely too long to come out, waitresses not being attentive at all, and them adding a credit card fee even when I pay cash to name a few. I understand prices have increased over the last couple years everywhere, but their prices have become ridiculous. Yesterday, I ordered an XL pie (18") with 3 toppings and 20 wings for pickup (because delivery was 1hr 15mins) and it was $68. Basically $30 for a pizza and $40 for the wings. This wouldn't have been as upsetting if the wings were actually decent sized, but they were not. Tiny wings that were overcooked with very little meat on them. Again, the pizza always has been and still remains good, but they clearly do not know how to operate a business and not only do their employees need better training but if they're going to be charging the prices they do, they really need to improve the overall quality and experience. It's upsetting because this could be such a great place and it's so close to my house but I won't be returning here anymore. There are 2-3 other places just a bit further from me with food just as good (if not better) for the same price (or cheaper). Sorry Lil Anthony's, you guys are running your business into the ground. I don't think they even care though as the owner's haven't even claimed this business on Yelp....probably due to all the recent poor reviews. We had a fantastic night at Lil Anthony's. The pizza was fantastic, our server Madi was wonderful! She worked the room and took care of a party of 16 like she had all the time for only us. Our wine glasses were always filled and the food was serve hot. We had a delicious meat lovers pizza. I would come back again and again. The music tonight by the DJ/ singer was great. This used to be our local go-to restaurant. We haven't been there in months as their food was continually going downhill & that was pre-Covid. We decided to give them a try. Upon entering we see no front of the house staff wearing masks. Same thing with 3/4 of the customers. The place was basically empty. Then we see kitchen staff aren't wearing masks either. Should have known God was telling us to leave but we stayed due to previous loyalty & hunger. We ordered a meatball parmigiana & sausage & pepper subs. The wait for our meals was very lengthy with no staff letting us know what was going on. More customers arrived, again most without masks. Finally our meals arrived. The melted mozzarella was starting to congeal, meaning it had been sitting a bit. Barely warm. The bread was substandard. Hubby ate his though he was equally unhappy. Taste - bah. Very friendly service in Minneola.. good menu choices..we were there in a group of 7 pp and we ordered the following: the Homemade Lasagna, Stuffed shells, Greek Salad, Pizza, Linguini and Meatballs and the Spaghetti in cream sauce.. Everything was delicious.especially the Lasagna.. the two ladies that ordered it said it was very very good.... Was surprised when we asked for more tomato sauce for the Lasagna they charged $1.00 on the bill.. was a bit surprised.. was not told it was $1.00 and they only gave about 2 tablespoons of extra sauce.. not my favorite NY Style Pizza - the crust has no taste at all..would not get pizza there.. other than that everything else was very good..it was a great evening- they never rushed us and the Wine was very affordable.. The food was ok, was much better with the prior owners. They were putting all the customers on top of each other. You have the tables and the room use them. The waitress was ok. She came to take our order and stood by our table and decided to talk to the table that was leaving for a while before taking our order. When the bill came there was a 4%(3.99%) fee for using a credit card and a $.99 for the salad dressing, which is their house dressing. What am I not supposed to use dressing ???? No where on the menu does it say there is a charge for either one of these nor did our waitress tell us. So needless to say she got a smaller tip. We ordered a large pizza with cheese and pepperoni on 1/2. Not sure what size we got but we got charged for an X-large and our topping was only $1.50, which makes me think we got the large pizza. I don't know about all these negative reviews on here, I mean yea the wait was a little longer than usual but it was well worth it I was in town with a friend from Orlando & we both found everything great! I'm pretty hard to impress with pizza too, but tried their stuffed slice & it was DELICIOUS! PACKED full of toppings & flavors, dough/crust was great on it's own, but the side of nice marinara to dip it in just took it even further The standout though, was the Clams & Linguine. OMG, I could not BELIEVE the amount of clams given, they were extremely generous. SO many clams on the dish...combined with the sauce & pasta it was out of this WORLD. My mouth is literally watering as I'm typing this just thinking about it. Also, these weren't the tiny diced clams you find in a can with the premixed sauce either, canned or not they were a decent size My friend is kinda picky with his pizza too, but he was really impressed how tasty & fresh it was, being he ordered by the slice If I'm ever in the area again, which unfortunately is kind of unlikely I would definitely go back, To all of you blessed enough to be in the area that haven't tried it yet, go see what your missing! read more

Their location in Groveland is horrible, 2 weeks ago I placed an order, pizza, wings and a spaghetti dinner....the pizza was tasteless, the spaghetti was worse, the pasta had a consistency of spaghetti from a can, way over cooked without salting the water. The sauce was more water than sauce. I called and I was promissed next time I ordered they would replace my spaghetti dinner. We ordered again today. More money in the garbage. The wings were ok, plain without any season so they had to be dipped in ranch for flavor, the pizza once again was horrid.....the spaghetti dinner once again was horrible, the pasta was so over cooked it was falling apart if you pulled and no salt, the sauce was so bland and hardly any sauce, the pasta was a light pink.....I called once again and complained because they also forgot the salad. They sent someone over with extra sauce and the salad... Dumped the entire thing in the garbage....tasteless, nasty with a bit of acid taste....the meatballs looked like they were boiled and looked grayish. We ordered the thin crust Joe Baron Manhattan and the Italian Stromboli. The pizza was really good. I think if we would have eaten at the restaurant, the crust would have been really crispy. It was still great pizza!! The pizza is sliced into squares and small triangles, which was fun. There was a lot of cheese on the pizza and all of the topping were really, great! The Stromboli was AMAZING! Perfectly cooked, a ton of cheese, and flavorful fillings. The Stromboli came with a a very large side of marinara, which was also excellent. We eat at Little Anthony's often but, I wanted to write a review after we had dinner there last night. Everything was excellent. We ordered the chef's salad, garlic knots, a Stromboli and some pizza. When I'm in the mood for pizza, this is the best place in town to get it. Our server (Madi- I think), was great. We couldn't have asked for better service. And it's hard for me to admit that I love this place so much because as a Southerner, I have such a distaste for anything from NewYork and you should see this place... it's covered in the tackiest ugly NewYork crap you'll ever see. read more

Updated Review: We caved and gave Little Anthony's another shot since it really is the only pizza delivery place in Clermont that isn't a Domino's, Pizza Hut, etc. The pizza improved tremendously. We even found out that there is a pizza now on the menu which is exactly how we loved to order ours: "The Godfather". It's a regular pie but made with thick crust. It was very good. It didn't fall apart like the pizza use to, the crust was very tasty, good amount of cheese, and there is a nice flavor of olive oil. We tried the same order a couple more times and it was consistent so I wanted to rescind my old review and give Little Anthony's 4 stars. We are still on the fence with their hot subs. We have ordered chicken parm and meatball. The chicken parm is very thinly sliced and there must only be 3 meatballs on the subs since they cut them in half and place them side by side. read more

First time ordering from Lil Anthony's and unfortunately it will be my last. Ordered 2 pizzas and chicken fettuccine and nothing was good. the fettuccine was beyond bland. I was able to doctor it up the next day so at least it didn't go in the garbage. The pizzas had soggy crusts and had an off putting smell even in the box. I think it might have been the cheese. they just didn't taste good. All in all not a good experience except the woman who waited on me. I ordered take out regular cheese pizza because I received a flyer in the mail. Today was my first time actually eating from there. All I can say is that I wish they didn't advertise NY-style Pizza. I set up my kids and my taste buds and we were so disappointed. We know about NY Pizza from Bayside, NY and Brooklyn. This just didn't cut it for us. Little Anthony's it has always been one of my favorite go to places, the food is incredible and I must say the even during the Covid they've done well. Of course there are going to be certain things that happened during this time of the pandemic I am one who hates the idea of the shut down and the pandemic. little Anthony's has stayed open to service their customers and they have done so with a skeleton staff. I would always highly recommend this restaurant for good solid authentic Italian cuisine. With social distancing and the limited spacing of course you have to go to just one or two waitresses that is going to increase service time but again, not my idea but Sleepy Joe wanted to shut down everything he could so here we are. After several recent disappointing experiences with the Groveland namesake, and after getting a menu in the mail from the Minneola shop, I placed a delivery order. I recently ordered from this location just before the holidays and the order was about three hours late. When it finally arrived, everything was cold. The manager was going to leave a credit for me under the register, but when I called back today to claim the credit, they basically said they threw it away. Do not use this location. I used to love Little Anthony's Pizza on Hwy 27 but in the past year or so things have gone downhill with their pizzas. The crust has been underdone and the toppings are skimpy. I have had to wait 5 minutes or more just to be acknowledged after walking in to pick up my order while employees walk right past me without a word. The order was ready but they forgot the toppings so another 10 minute wait. Picked up a take out menu to see what toppings cost but there are no prices on the take out menu. I didn't complain about prices when food and service was better but I'm done paying the high price for less quality and poor service. They've lost a customer.
