WARNING If you want an easy experience, good customer…read moreservice, and fair treatment, look elsewhere. My first time here 6mo ago was subpar. I was talked down to by the owner and got bad vibes. I stopped by again recently, hoping to give this place a second chance, and made sure to strive for a bit more patience and kindness, but it was a worse visit than the first, again from the middle aged male owner. Other customers exiting behind me were overheard vocalizing similar sentiments. Even when I first walked in the door I was talked down to in a condescending way upon checkin, as if I should know exactly how things work here without any explanation. If the owner would show a bit more patience and not cut people off when they're in the middle of a simple question, maybe smile a little, and be more helpful, it could be a much better outcome. This is especially troubling given the nature of this business, which is to upcycle child care equipment and clothing, something that already has enough stress and would do better to communicate a sense of community and upliftment rather than bitterness and rude attitudes. I hope the owner learns some kindness and softens his heart before it's too late to change - there may still time but I won't be back.

NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER COME TO THIS STORE!…read more I came here with my mom on a Saturday to find a puffer jacket. While I was looking, she tried on some shaggy, woolen top of some kind. When she took it off, it COMPLETELY covered her EVERYWHERE in lint and residual bits of the garment. We waited a HALF HOUR for the lazy ass manager to come up from the basement. When he finally came up, we were pretty pissed, and all we did was ask for a lint roller so we could remove all the gunk that got on my mom's clothes. He was giving us the runaround in a lazy, RATCHET, and "it's not my problem" kind of way. I went into No-BS mode with him stating that it's his responsibility since he is the manager and one of his products defaced our personal property, and he started going off on me like "I'm not talking to you you're so aggressive" and "Boy, you bettah watch yo mouth cuz I swear". It was literally the most ratchet manager I've ever met in my life. Then I did find a puffer jacket, but the tag looked messed up and there were some scuff marks on it. It was the last one in my size, and they said stores no longer carry it and it was out of stock online. So the girl at the register did give me 15% off for it. I came home and thought it reeked of cologne. Thought it would go away in the wash...boy, was I wrong. BOY...WAS...I...SO...WRONG. After I washed it, I put it in the dryer....I opened that door after it finished....AND IT REEKED. It was SOUR. And it had the stench of homeless person or really bad sweat of...certain types of people....AND I LITERALLY COULDN'T GET THE SMELL OUT. The mistake was that I washed it with my other clothes and then THOSE ALL started having that smell too! UGH!!! I am definitely gonna get my money back one way or another...and I am NEVER. EVER. COMING. HERE. AGAIN. Stoneridge and Livermore Outlets H&M's are like walking into Louis Vuitton compared to this trashy dump. God, that smell still lingers in my nose.

At first I wasn't impressed. Mostly T-shirt's and sweat shirts and casual clothing. I'm not in need of casual clothing at this time. Looking on the wall I saw some slacks. They were on sale and reasonable priced so I took a closer look. They had my size, 4, short so I decided to try a pair on. They fit perfect and they had black. I don't have any black pants due to they attract fuzz and dog hair. When I had my dog I got rid of all my black pants due they looked tacky with all her hair on it. There was no getting out of the house hairless. Now that she passed this is the perfect time to invest in some black slacks. I am now ready for fall and winter. It's going to look fabulous with my sweaters and blouses.

Always grab a cart because there is so much good stuff. Or not-up to you. I like to peruse almost every aisle, looking at each item of clothing- I got a whole system down. Of course I'm paying attention to the color tag sale of the day, but if it's cute, it's going in the cart. The women's section is great but the men's section is good too. Their racks are packed full. They don't have fitting rooms but there are mirrors if you'd want to pull something over your clothes to try on. What's great is that they also have bathrooms. Very convenient especially when you're shopping a long time. The store also has kids clothes, shoes, small furniture, housewares, toys etc. Did I mention they have a lot of stuff? The store is clean, organized and the employees are friendly. Some items can be pricey, sure, but it's all about rummaging through to find those hidden gems and getting a good deal. I think it's fun. I truly love this place and always come back when I'm in town.

There isn't a fitting room, so I generally try things on over my clothes. While most of my experiences have been good, the staff hasn't been as nice during my last few visits. I wasn't aware of the no-tag rule unless a specific lady was there to change the price. An employee quickly took an item from me, telling me oh well come back tomorrow. Their staff isn't the nicest and sometimes ruins the shopping experience regardless of their selection of items.
