My family wanted to stock up on fresh pasta before the recent snowstorm, and after I had purchased their fresh pasta during the Newport summer Farmers' Markets, we decided to take a trip to Tiverton and check out the brick n' mortar. The shop has ample parking outside- you won't be staying for long, as the inside consists of a counter, a freezer, a fridge, and a display case, all chock full of made to order pastas and frozen meals (love the chicken parm!). You'll be in and out quickly with high quality and affordable noshes in no time. The pasta can be easily frozen and stored to last, so stock up while you can! It's a small space, but the quality of the product is unmatched. We called ahead of time to ensure they had the fettuccine we were seeking, and the clerk was pleasant and professional both on the phone and in person. I was very excited to visit this place! I buy my pasta at another local RI store because I love fresh pasta. Once you have it, you will never eat box pasta again. We went on Thursday and we were the only people in the store. When we walked in, there was a table that said bread, but there was no bread available. There was one cooler that had frozen raviolis and then another cooler that had fresh pastas in addition to fresh ready bake meals like chicken, veal parmesan and meatballs. I bought the spicy rigatoni, which was fresh and frozen prosciutto and cheese ravioli as they were not any fresh ravioli. The price I paid was pretty reasonable and comparable to the other store that I go to. My friend bought six meatballs, which were made of pork, beef, and veal with one package of frozen prosciutto raviolis. Her total came to about $30. I was so excited to try the prosciutto raviolis. Tonight, we followed the directions, even though we've made raviolis many times, but the raviolis split apart and the ones that didn't stuck together. There were 10 raviolis in the package I bought. They were very filling, I ended up eating about four of them, but didn't like the flavor. They were very smoky and tasted like bacon not prosciutto. I did like that they had an Narragansett Creamery ricotta in them though. Overall, I was disappointed with the taste and the quality of the raviolis. I'm glad that they have very good ratings and people like them because I always want to see a small local business succeed. The taste and consistency just wasn't for me. Not bad! Quaint lil shop. . Not a lot to choose from. The marinara sauce is good not acidic at all.. First time trying it out. They offer fresh pasta which was really good and a few dinners for ready to bake. Chicken parm was definitely worth the money. Tiverton is so blessed to have this new local business! The handmade pasta this shop sells is incomparable to store-bought pasta.... I don't know if I can ever go back to boxed pasta! The owner makes the pasta fresh daily, and switches up the pasta flavors weekly. His lobster raviolis are apparently a popular hit - however they always sell out before the weekend, so I've never gotten to try them! My favorite pasta flavors so far have been the cajun and the garlic basil. Steve (the owner/chef) is so extremely nice and helpful - he is very knowledgeable about pasta and is always willing to help give recipe recommendations! He always greets customers coming into the shop and is easy going to talk to. The handmade pasta is extremely reasonable at $5/lb, and there is plenty of parking. If you haven't stopped by this place, you need to try it out!!! read more

While the spelling of the store's name makes my eye twitch a bit, "Litl Rhody Pasta ko" is absolutely a five star pasta shop. The interior is bare bones, they can't take cards at the moment, but man is the pasta and service great. If you're leaving Market Basket in Fall River you can get to LRPK by swinging out the exit near the side of the store and taking a right. The shop is in an adorable red building connected to a few other businesses. Steve, the chef and owner is really nice. He hooked me up with some double-butternut ravioli at a discount because I didn't know it was cash only and didn't have a lot of green on me when I came in. Apparently there is amazing lobster ravioli but you need to come earlier in the week if you want any. If you're ever going through the Tiverton/Fall River area do yourself a favor and pick up some fresh, delicious pasta at LRPK. read more

Lit'l Rhody Pasta is hands down some of the best pasta I have ever had and anyone I share it with feels the same. This pasta shop was brought to my attention by staff at a popular restaurant I frequent in Newport. I was addicted to their spicy pasta dish and over time they told me where this amazing pasta came from. Once I finally reached out to Steve, the owner, I drove about 70 miles each way to finally get me a batch of spicy rigatoni. Let me tell you all, that the 3 hour round trip was well worth it. Since then, there's a small and growing following developing in CT as more of my friends and peers try what I bring back. There is a great selection of pasta for anyone's taste. It's made fresh right in the shop, and even if they don't have what you want, you can bet that an effort will be made to make you what you need. There's no cutting corners either. For example, the lobster ravioli is made with actual chunks of lobster meat. Quality is a top priority here. Customer service is top notch. Steve is a one man crew and spares no detail. He makes sure his customers walk away happy. One time he just ran out of butternut ravioli when I got there, so he made a batch right there in front of me. His customer service is truly unbeatable. If you ever want anything out of the ordinary, call ahead and most likely he'll work something out with you. A couple of quick tips are that this is a cash only business, so make sure you come prepared for that. I can't say enough good things about this place! Steve the owner is very professional and efficient! I called and left a message to see if he could make a few things for an after funeral get together. My call was returned promptly. Steve was very accommodating.
