    Lit pizza box

If you like a chewy, and I mean really chewy crust, this is the place for you. I don't and neither does anyone in my household. The topping selection is great, and that's the only reason I gave a two.

    Really busy this evening.

I've been to Lit quite a bit since it's close to home. The pizza is good and the price is as well. My average check is between $22-$32 depending on what we get and including a tip. They also have a rewards program. I've been earning points but haven't used any yet, so I can't tell you if it's a good rewards program. You can order online through their site for pickup which connects to the Toast system. I've done this several times and it's worked well. I went inside to order on my last visit. It was very busy on a Sunday evening which did affect the efficiency in ordering and quality of the food. I am still giving them 5 stars because every other experience I have had has been great. I consider yesterday an outlier and it still wasn't bad considering the circumstances. I got my usual create your own pizza. They unfortunately didn't add 2 ingredients I requested. It was so busy that I didn't catch it on the line either. We got a bacon and jalapeño cheese sticks and they didn't put any ricotta cheese in them. I highly recommend these but they are definitely better with ricotta. They were still good but even better with all the ingredients! My partner did get his pizza correctly because he watched carefully to get what he asked for. I've never had that problem before and wasn't paying close enough attention. I still enjoyed my food and all the employees were very nice even while it was so busy. A quick tip; If you want your pizza to be cooked a little crisper, just request. They actually flip the # sign attached to your pizza to let the employee running the pizza oven to cook it a little longer. We got our order to go but there's a good bit of seating inside and a couple of tables outside if you want to deal with the extreme heat this summer! It's a casual restaurant with modern decor and finishes. It was still quite clean even while really busy. It's always been clean since we started going about 7 months back. Even with the few hiccups on this last visit, we will be back again. I'll update my review if I think the problems become a consistent issue. Go get Lit!

So yummy. Love the fresh ingredients

Food is fresh, so yummy. Someone picked it up for me, so didn't see the look and decor. Ingredients were very fresh

If you haven't had Ricotta cheese on a pizza, stop what you're doing and go get one.

How have I not reviewed Lit? I found these guys just this year and have been back at least once a month for their "Pizza of the Month." Oh man, just remembering the jalapeño popper PoM is making my mouth water. Fresh jalapeños and ricotta cheese. Never had ricotta on a pizza before. Don't really want one without again. So good! I bet I had it three times. There was a shrimp pizza with capers and basil and all the yummiest stuff! Almost missed out on this one when they sent me the wrong pizza, but the folks here made it right for me and it was amazing! (The wrong pizza was good, too, it just couldn't touch the PoM) I guess I better get in soon for June or I am gonna miss out. If you've had the Muffuletta Pizza this month, holla ya me, yeah? Did you like it? No complaints here; service has been great every visit and the food is always delicious. If you like thin crust pizza, you're gonna love Lit!

The food here is very good! I love thin crust pizza and the crust here is super thin. You definitely want to beat the lunch hour rush. There were at least 45 people inside when I got here and we got lucky that someone was leaving at the time we got food. Even though there was a huge crowd, we were served very fast. You can make a pizza from scratch or choose one on their menu and add anything you want to your pizza. Staff was very friendly

Cheese pizza with tomato sauce, pepperoni and zucchini. WOW!!!

Amazing place, customer service on point. First time here, but it will not be my last. I got 2 pizzas, and they were amazing, crispy, and with fresh ingredients. I got a cheese pizza with pepperoni with some zucchini ( at no extra cost!) and a Greek pizza. Even though I did not see the Greek pizza in the menu, but the Calzone, they made it for me. Awesome, and the prices are very good for the quality. You need to try it.

Great food, very friendly & helpful staff. Conveniently close to home as well, will be back!

    Extra crunchy. Burned!!
    Vanessa B.

Pizza was super thing and crunchy couldn't bite. Burned!! I placed the order online I requested no jalapeños. Can't handle spicy. It was covered in jalapeños couldn't go back. Very disappointed. Not the first time. But my last time ordering online.

I didn't have the greatest experience here for my first time. I came here on a Sunday morning…read moreduring Labor Day weekend. We gave ourselves an hour and a half, enough time to eat and get to our next planned and scheduled event that day. So, we weren't in a rush. We get in the quickly moving line to order our food at the counter. I order a salmon bagel and the hubs ordered a meatball ciabatta. We sit down and I noticed it is a very busy place. It is a very large place and I noticed how clean everything was and how efficient all the workers were at getting the food out. One after the other, food was coming out like an assembly line and the food looked good, too. But the assembly line apparently stopped, no orders were coming out, and we waited about 20 or 25 minutes. At least we had our drinks because it is a counter service type establishment. We noticed stacks and stacks of 'to go' orders were being placed in the counter area. After nearly 35 or 40 minutes we get our food. Some guy had ordered a 'football teams' worth amount of food. So, although it was not the restaurant's fault, it was frustrating the timing that our order was f course put in right after the guy that ordered 20 dishes. I get my bagel to try to eat quickly, since now we are in a little bit of a rush. And the bagel couldn't have been more complicated to eat. I just wanted a complete lox bagel but it was a deconstructed bagel where I had to put the thing together. I would have enjoyed the meal a little better had my bagel been properly served, like for example, the way Flour Moon serves their bagels to customers. I don't know if we will be back because I rarely visit the Northshore, this was a special occasion. I guess if I do come back, I would like to try one or two of the desserts from the case. Those looked really good.

It took me a minute to process this restaurant because it feels like it has a split personality…read more... Let me explain. On the outside and on the menu, it has everything you would expect from a restaurant on the water. Beautiful building with patios and views, great seafood and drinks. Even the prices are a little on the pricey side but not outrageous. But the atmosphere inside says "late night college hangout." The music, the movie posters, the clientele, feels like something near a college campus. So ai think this is why people complain about the prices. The interior doesn't feel like fine dining it feels very laid back and casual ? But the name and location have you expecting fine dining which falls flat. The service and food and drinks were awesome ! We loved the cherry smash, the crab crostini appetizer, and our grilled fish with delicious sides. I loved the grit cakes, the Brussel sprouts and curry fries. The inside felt dark, and it was a little warm, and i wished ai could see the water view from inside better i couldn't really see it much. It was too hot to sit outside but when the weather is nice that would be fantastic to watch the boats go past. I think they should hire an interior designer to elevate the inside a little bit. I would come back for the food and the porches. Thanks !
