I love this food! Don't get to visit often, but when I do it's good stuff! And since I discovered that regular crust with red sauce and one cheese selection can be relatively low-cal, I'm even more excited!! Lots of good and out of the ordinary toppings to choose from - andouille, ovalini mozzarella, goat cheese, ricotta, dairy free mozzarella, whole roasted garlic, artichoke hearts, fresh jalapeños (and pickled, if you like), and a big variety of base sauces, too. Cauliflower crust, gluten free crust- something for everyone, really. Occasionally the teen-age staff might not be fully engaged, and might not spread toppings evenly, but the food is still good. Super disrespectful and very unsanitary. Came in at 8:50 pm on 12.4.24 and the white girl kept throwing her hands up because they were trying to close early and I could tell she had an attitude. Also she was wiping stuff Down with a rag and then took my pizza out and touched all over it with her dirty hands after I saw her wipe her face with the same gloves when I walked in. This is literally the worst pizza I have ever eaten. I'd rather a little Ceasars pizza. Stale ingredients, almost zero meat, very little cheese. Tastes like you took a lunchable with no meat and burnt it in the oven. Even the ranch is watered down to an indistinguishable consistency. Please do not waste your money. Pretty tasty option in the pizza category. If you love pizza, then it's only better to get hot and fresh, right!? So first I think for the amount of toppings you can choose, the prices are pretty reasonable. It's $8 for the pizzas with toppings already picked out...and no adl charge for extra toppings. I chose a Benny Blanco pizza which had a white sauce, roasted red peppers, caramelized onions, and bacon. I added chicken and roasted garlic. It was delish! The only thing I would've liked better is for it to be cooked a little longer due to the amount of toppings it had. Now that I've been here I'll know to ask. Otherwise, no complaints! It was the end of their day and the restaurant still had a level of cleanliness to it. I'd go back! read more

I would kill for a Lit on Jones Creek or Coursey. I have to drive so far to get my Lit on. Best value and best pizza since I can choose exactly what I want on it and can get it extra crispy. Most all the people working in their locations are really nice and make a great pizza for you. read more

Finally made the time to give this place a try. It's only my second LIT Pizza experience, and first experience at this new location in Gonzales. We went during the lunch rush hour, but the line moved and the pizza came out hot and delicious in a short amount of time. I tried their Pesto Pollo Pizza and the other person with me had a custom pizza with red sauce, pepperoni, and onions. Both our pizzas looked delicious and equally tasted delicious. So much so that we couldn't help but eat the whole thing (with much mental protest for me...the goal was to eat half and take the other half home...didn't happen ). Toppings in my opinion were generous and fresh. Environment was clean (still new). Staff were friendly and patient with a "first timer" (me). Good place for quick service, easy meal, the right amount of food, and a clean & friendly environment. read more

I love this place, we always have to stop when in BR. The staff have always been cordial and accommodating to any pizza requests. You can choose something off the menu or make your own; kind of like a subway for pizza stuff the ingredients are plentiful to choose from, giving you a tasty creation. Never have we ever encountered a dirty restaurant, as mentioned in another review (they sound like a disgruntled ex-employee). Our only complaint is the lack of one of these restaurants in the New Orleans/Mandeville area!! read more

I'll start with the positives first. Pizza was great as was the service and quickness of getting my pizza. The first negative was cleanliness there wasn't much, tables had crumbs from earlier patrons. Second, by the time I got my pizza to the table the tropical storm winds from the fans plus the a/c had it just warm by the time I grabbed my last slice it might as well been in the fridge. Price and variety are good. Pizza is fine, but it is definitely not as good as some of these reviews would indicate. Ingredients are fresh and good, but my pizza had the texture of a microwaved pizza. There are definitely better pizzas out there. read more

Everything was made fresh on the spot. The staff was very friendly, personable, and chatty. The fresh ingredients prepared before you gave the food a more authentic taste. My only complaint was that the chairs weren't comfortable enough and had no cushions. Otherwise, terrific place to eat pizza. read more

First time I went it was great. Last several times pizza has had some cold spots. I like a lot of toppings and they seem to struggle with cooking when the toppings are piled high, even though I instructed them to cook mine well done. Will try again and hope the cooking improves because when it's right, it's extremely good. read more

My first visit to this or any Lit Pizza. I have tried this type of pizza concept from coast to coast at such places as Blaze or Pie Five. Really nothing that made Lit stand out above the others but looks to have equal potential as those players. I will say I am a huge fan of this pizza concept. I will begin my detailed comments by saying I would give the food and atmosphere an easy 4, almost a 5 except that the pizzas were a little undercooked. The toppings were good and a nice variety. Lots of post bake toppings available which is a definitely a plus. Great crust flavor and good sauce. My overall 3 comes from the service. It wasn't awful, but clearly many of the people behind the counter wanted to be somewhere else. They seemed like a bunch of kids lacking adult supervision. I am not sure who is in charge, but I didn't see anyone who looked to be legal age. I don't think this location has been open very long and maybe they are still working out the kinks. I found it to be a little slower than similar concepts even though we visited on a Saturday with very light traffic. I do plan to return the next time I visit Cabela's and will update my review. read more

Placed our order online at 6:01pm tonight. It said the order would be ready at 6:20. We arrived at 6:24. Waited and waited. It was busy so was being patient. As we waited we watched several customers come in place their order at the register and receive their pizzas and walk out. There was another lady there that placed an online order the same time we did. She too was having to wait. At 6:49 finally got our 2 pizzas. We checked them to find that one of our pizzas was completely wrong and the other was not sliced. So we had to wait another 15 minutes to get our second pizza. The second pizza was about half the size of the first and was put together very sloppy. At this point my husband was very irritated and did not want to deal with it anymore. So we left with 1 cold pizza and 1 very messy small pizza. Not sure I will ever return. Oh and FYI the pizzas was almost identical just one had light sauce which we did not get. read more

Best pizza ever !!!!! I love that you can create your pizza . 5 star ingredients . The staff was still in training in Gonzales La when I went but the pizza was the bomb!!!! Will definitely go back !!!!! read more
