Deirdre and her husband Luke have put their talents into creating and improving upon this already gorgeous property. The lavender is high-quality and us so we're all of the products. They have put in a new playground for kids on one part of the property. They host events, including the up up circus. Please see my photo for the image and information. There's a beautiful house on the property that they rent out during the high season. It's a two night minimum and they will also do weeklong stays. The location is very close to the famous spit. There are some other places to stay nearby. Beautiful, walking, and great biking country. There are plenty places to sit outside, in the sun, or in the shade. Parking is plentiful. The girls are beautiful not only with the lavender but also with great flowers. It's really fun to go visit a number of lavender farms. You'll be happy you visited this one.

Let's start with the farm house: Cute 2 bedroom w/additional loft, 2 bath, living room, game room and/or additional living space, fully stocked kitchen, enclosed large yard space to keep the little ones confined or the Fido's from wandering too far, large patio for summer time cocktail and bbq OR listening to Washingtons symphony (nature) while having your coffee. The bed upstairs is incredible and super comfortable. Once you hit that mattress it's lights out. And fast! Yes. That is how comfortable the bed is. The house is immaculate and cozy. It is such a perfect retreat to return to after spending your days exploring Sequim and/or Port Angeles outdoor activities. The shower is nice and powerful and the water heat last. The kitchen is fully stocked with some extras like bottled water, beers, coffee and extra condiments. Now! if you get invited to participate in the Bee Hiving experience. Do it! So worth it! And so fun! I'm slightly allergic to bees so I stayed far but watched from a safe enough space. Yet some how they still included me by bringing over honey combs and a male bee with no stinger! Fun fact you will have to learn by participating in this activity. If you get to participate in helping farm the lavender. Do it! How often are you on a farm?! If you are in Sequim it's probably because you love the outdoor activities and nature. The farm itself is also immaculate. Perfectly mowed. The lavender is perfectly trimmed. If you are lucky every morning the deers will run thru or walk thru the farm to nibble on the trees and surrounding bushes. It is too much beauty here! You will feel compelled to share it with everybody. Everything in and around is so breathtaking. This farm is just the beginning to your wonderful time exploring this area. Go and enjoy!

August 5, 2025 - Sequim…read more A lovely, very low-key lavender farm. They had a nice selection of lavender plants for sale, along with other plants like cacti. There wasn't much happening in the lavender fields during our visit, but we enjoyed browsing the gift shop. We picked up some chocolate lavender ice cream, lavender shortbread cookies, and a jar of lavender goat milk cream. It was quiet--we were the only customers on this Wednesday afternoon, a stark contrast to the next lavender farm we visited, which was much more crowded. Leashed dogs welcomed!

Stopped by here with my friend to see the farm this summer…read more They boast they have 5,000 kinds of lavender growing there. We didn't venture out to the farm, but still saw various kinds of lavender in pots near the store. There's a very small parking area, probably only 3-4 vehicles would fit. The farm is only open during the summer to the public. The only reason this is 4 stars and not 5 is because of the prices in the store. They wanted $10 for an average size spice bottle that had lavender, black pepper, etc. The sales clerk seemed to be bored out of her mind, clicking pens over and over and heaving big sighs bent over the counter.

The place is huge, with lots of seating for groups of all sizes, big open spaces for kids and dogs to run around, and a whole area of the farm where you can stroll and chat while admiring the wide array of plants they grow here. They have ample parking, and thankfully a very intuitive set up for finding food and drinks. They had a pretty good selection of food vendors on a Sunday night, and we ended up getting a banh mi each from Friendly Nettle, and a dozen oysters for me from Moonlight Oysters. Food came out quick, after which we found a seat out near the sunflowers. I really enjoyed my pork banh mi -- it's more of a pork sausage than a grilled pork, but it was really tasty with great bread and stuffed full with pickled shredded veg and cilantro. My dinner buddy found that he wasn't a huge fan of tempeh in a banh mi but still found it a satisfying meal. The oysters were also delicious. They were serving up the Aphrodite variety that night, which were petite shots of mineral-y goodness. After dinner and a stroll through the grounds, we got some delicious vegan ice cream at Fiddlehead creamery. We loved their strawberry flavor and were excited at how all the flavors are vegan here! Keep in mind if you're thinking of visiting Finnriver that even for this area the food vendors close early here (like 7-7:30ish). If you want to eat, make sure you come out on the earlier side!

You can take the shuttle bus to get to each location, or you drive there yourselves. The Olympic Game Farm is a must see! It's a self driven tour, so you can drive around and see all the animals up close. Tickets are $14 for adults and $12 for children. People here are very friendly and welcoming, which is always a good thing. Remember to visit the lavender farm before you leave!

A Memorable Stop at Camaraderie Cellars While exploring the…read morePacific Northwest in our electric car, my wife and I found ourselves in need of a charge. We were in the area to visit Olympic National Park and our car navigated us to Camaraderie Cellars as they have a charger on their premises -- and that's where the incredible hospitality began. As we pulled in, the owner came out to greet us. We waved, got out of the car, and introduced ourselves. We shared a bit about our journey -- a retirement road trip from St. Louis through the western United States, visiting as many national parks as we could along the way. For many weeks, we had been sleeping in our EV, embracing the freedom of the open road. Don, the owner, welcomed us with genuine warmth. He told us about the history of the winery and gave us a personal tour of the beautiful grounds. The place had a peaceful charm, and the curated snacks they offer pair perfectly with their wines. After hearing our story, Don said, "I have an idea. It's getting late -- and since you haven't had dinner yet -- why don't you go enjoy a great meal at a nearby restaurant called Yodelin Broth. It's healthy, delicious, and close by. Then, come back here. I'll show you around some more, and you can charge your car while you sleep. In the morning, you'll be fully charged and ready to take in all the beauty of Olympic National Park in the daylight." At first, my wife was understandably cautious. These days, you never know -- we had never been to Washington before, and Don was a complete stranger. But something about his kindness felt truly sincere. While having dinner, we talked it over. Was this too good to be true? Was it safe? My gut told me Don was genuine, and I'm so glad we trusted that instinct. When we returned, he met us in the tasting room and continued to share stories, letting us sample some of his excellent wine. We spent a relaxing hour chatting, then headed out to our car for a peaceful night's sleep. The next morning, we woke up to a fully charged vehicle, ready to explore the wonders of Olympic National Park. Of all the breathtaking places we've seen on this trip, our unexpected stop at Camaraderie Cellars remains one of the most unforgettable. If we ever return to Washington, we will absolutely visit Don and his wife Vicki again, the incredible owners of Camaraderie Cellars. Their kindness and hospitality were truly unmatched -- a shining example of the goodness still out there in the world. Camaraderie Cellars: Hospitality at its finest.

Because…read moreduring our visit to Forks, WA and other wineries in the area, we discovered the majority of WA wines are dry. The four of us do not enjoy dry wines, unfortunately. Though we can tend to "force" ourselves to try them. Sadly, the wine flights my siblings ordered were so dry one sister couldn't even finish them. Now, the winery environment & staff? It was beautiful and they were friendly. Wide open space, a gorgeous seating area with a fireplace in one section.

Rooms are very large, clean, modern, and beds are very comfortable. Food at the Seven Brothers restaurant (inside the casino) is a bit slow, but they make up for it in taste and freshness. Omelettes were fluffy and delicious, pancakes and biscuits were among the best we've had anywhere. Plus the prices are very reasonable. Well done 7 Cedars!!

We went two days while visiting Sequim. The slots seemed pretty tight for most part. We lost about $800 total. It was a nice mix of slots having new and old classics. We enjoyed a nice Italian lunch in Napoli's. The $10 pasta specials were awesome! Appreciated the presentation as well adding breadsticks & parm twills to the dishes. Side salad lovely w/ added egg & bacon. Also grabbed a bite from deli counter a different day having the curry rice soup and chicken tacos, both yummy at fair prices as well. Just wish we'd hit some slot perk/promo but it's a nice place.
