It's only because I posted on Yelp the issues I was having that you sent this message. I have had numerous conflicts with the equipment sold to me. You sell very high end products but offer NO tech support, thats insane. The problem my McIntosh was having is that it simply needed to be reset, something you should now how to do. Instead I get one of your sales people laughing in my face, seriously? That's complete lack of control, I still have a remote that does not work correctly, and the bass system had to be hardwired in. This was probably about third or fourth time coming back to Listenup.com for something. What I was about to purchase was expensive for me and it was over 50 lbs. After placing an order, I didn't get any order update for a week. I called and was let down by the level of customer service I got over the phone. (I won't mention his name. I spoke with him twice.) I sent an email to customer service about an order update and got a reply in short time by this person named, Edward. I didn't care much who he was because I was already under the impression that he is going to be just like the other guy over the phone. But still, I called Edward. OMG, what an immediate night and day difference. Edward was so genuine and calm. He listened to my needs and explained to me why there was delay and offered solutions. After exchanging some conversations, we ended up closing the deal and I received my item. DOA!!! DOA!!! never thought this could happen to me. Item was not in functioning and it had surface damage which was not disclosed at the time of sale. Did I just get robbed and I paid over how much?? Furiously emailing Edward about the situation. He replies back and he continues to be genuine and also assured me that he will resolve this issue. During the time he was customer oriented and I could tell that Edward was focused on achieving my satisfaction throughout the times. Several days later, I get a response with positive and pleasant outcome which I didn't expect to happen. As promised in his email, he dealt with the vendor, company, and me at the same time trying to resolve this matter before holiday. I am sure he pulled some strings to make this to happen. I can't believe how he turned it around like this. I am glad that I got to know him and found this place to shop. It is going to be a place where I will be definitely coming back for future business. Exceptional service thankfully does not rely on being local. I found ListenUp via an Amazon link for a pair of speakers I was looking to buy. I had done my research extensively and was ready to make what, for me, was a rather large purchase. Thankfully, ListenUp provided a very easy purchase experience. I was even able to use membership rewards points to pay for one of the speakers (at this level - speakers are sold one at a time). Once I had completed my purchase, I was keen to know when my speakers would arrive. I knew they were going to be extremely heavy (nearly 90 lbs a piece). I decided to call their store directly and was helped by an extremely pleasant young man who patiently listened to my questions and set my mind at ease. ListenUp knows the high price of the merchandise they sell and they go to great lengths to ensure happy clients. In this case, they retain the original Bowers & Wilkins shipping pallets. Sure - it means more warehouse space is consumed by speakers due to the size of the pallets but it also significantly reduces the risk of damage. ListenUp provided a land tracking number for the large truck delivery service. I could literally trace my speakers from Colorado to Maryland at every step of the way. Prior to delivery, ListenUp told me the shipping company would call in advance to schedule the delivery. When the call came, I was able to set my appointment and the moment of delivery was right in the middle of the day so it was bright and I could clearly inspect the cartons. The shipping company has excellent quality control and asset release procedures which I certainly appreciated. The wooden pallet had some broken spars but the actually speaker cartons were absolutely intact. Indeed, shipping the products as the manufacturer had initially packaged proved wise. Again, this is why it is so nice to deal with people used to handling high value / very heavy items. If you are an audiophile or just someone who loves great music and are looking to step up from the kind of items one might find in a Big Box Store, I humbly offer that ListenUp is a fantastic business. Do not let the distance from where you are dissuade you from shopping with them. I am an extremely happy customer and would not hesitate to do business with them again. The corporate aholes are the worst part of it they don't care what happened as long as their pockets get filled. I have used Listen Up several times, and have always found their customer service excellent. I used them recently to purchase a new television monitor, and Todd at Listen Up was great to work with- he showed me the options and features so that I could make the correct choice. The Listen Up guys came yesterday to install the monitor, and not only ensured that it worked correctly, and that I knew how to make the best use of it, but also re-programmed a universal controller that I had bought from Listen Up some years ago, and re-arranged the HDMI feeds to take advantage of the newer technology in the monitor, vs the HDMI switch function that I had previously used in an older Denon amp. We experienced an issue with a speaker feed, which was entirely caused by me, and they fixed it and showed me how to operate the system with the new configuration. Through all of this, the two installer guys (I wish I could recall their names) were fun to work with, very pleasant, knew a lot about what they were doing, and had excellent customer service skills. 5 stars to Listen Up!!!! read more
