Very honest, straightforward and fast. Great to see people like this still in business - because they'll get all of mine from here on out.

Dr. Dan's Vintage Audio Repair - Old Pioneer SX-1080 receiver sounds as warm today as it did when I got it over 40 years ago!

He is a very busy man and this is telling...people know that he is the man! I was impressed with his attention to detail and I believe that it's his passion to save vintage equipment, so that it may continue to be enjoyed by those who understand it's value!

I have to admit that the couple of reviews that seem to have an issue with Dr Dan are far removed…read morefrom my experience with Dr Dan. I discovered the good Dr by doing a search for "vintage stereo repair companies " for Denver. I own a Carver receiver that has needed service for several years and couldn't find any one locally to trust with my receiver. I reached out to Dr Dan and he said that he doubted that my receiver needed the repair recommended by another company plus I would not have to pay all the shipping and insurance costs while holding my breath that shipping would further damage my equipment. To my delight, Dr Dan was able to repair my receiver- true disclosure it took two visits to get everything repaired however I have a receiver that is over 40 years old. I am very pleased with Dr Dan and find him to be very knowledgeable and honest with the service and pricing for his services. Remember, electronic repair is not an exacting science- a little trial and error is sometimes necessary. My receiver is playing beautifully now and is giving me renewed pleasure. Don't hesitate giving him your business!! Besides, he has a great sense of humor!!!

These were hand made, solid…read morewood, finely crafter speakers that I spent enough on at the time that I considered them "The last set of speakers I'd ever have to buy". Well, as most of my hopes and dreams of the 1990s, that plan needed a bit of a revision. After many years of use, including the enthusiastic tweeter poking of my young sons, the speakers needed to be repaired. I found Speaker Repair & Reconing Center of Colorado on Yelp - and based on the reviews, I had high expectations. Even so, Brandon surpassed the high bar that had already been set. He tested each speaker individually, (tweeters and mid ranges..), and when he identified speakers that needed to be replaced, he ensured he procured them from the same manufacturers of the original speakers. Beyond the speakers, he even conditioned the internal electronics, Before I left the shop with my newly refreshed and rebuilt speakers, Brandon let me listen to each one, and made sure all the frequencies were crisp and clear and powerful. The price was beyond reasonable for the work that he did - I could really tell he was doing it for the love of the craft more than financial gain. If you have any speakers that need some repair or diagnostic evaluation - I recommend you have a talk with Brandon. I am confident you will be as overjoyed with the result as I am. Thank you Brandon!

Ok, so first of all I am far from a computer/PC person that is my wife's dept. But I do buy her…read more, her computers ,and tablets ,and accessories. I try and do the research the best I can and try to get the most bang for the buck when buying such devices. But that ram, memory, gigs is really all a bunch of stuff I dont understand and usually have to ask friends and coworkers for thier advice and really on Google. But one thing I will tell you is this place has came up in conversation I've had with places like Office depot, Staples and Best Buy, in the last couple of years. So we were in need of a stand for my wife's 3d printer and really didn't want to wait for one online. Even though it was on the other side of town from where we live I felt it was worth the drive to check it out. It is located off of S. 225 and past Parker Rd sorry I cant remember the exit. But if you live south you'll know the area. When we pulled in the parking lot we could already see the large amount of foot traffic walking up to the store. And when we walked in it was like Wow ,ok so this is what they've been talking about. I couldn't even tell you how many aisles they are. But I will keep this some what short. If you need something for a computer and I don't think it matters what kind they probably have it here! I saw brands that are common in the laptop section, acer, hp,apple and the such. Numerous departments/ sections. Television, gaming, home security/security, byo computer, parts and so much more that wouldn't even know what I was looking at. And there seemed to be plenty of associates able and willing to help you. And as far as thier returns policy we explained our problem we were having with my wife's 3d printer as we were trying to set it up as a birthday present i got her and it wouldn't work and the associate told us to bring it back and we'll give you another one, unfortunately I didn't buy it there and will probably have to wait for one to be Shipped to us. So to try and cut to the chase if you are really into this kind of thing this is your place sure the regular stores will get you any of your everyday stuff but if you want to really get into the specifics and specialty items ,this is your store. Good luck and happy computing?

He checked the item's specs and since it worked for what he wanted, he asked to purchase it.
