I tell everyone to go to him, even women who prefer female doctors..because he is simply the best and does not force his opinions (like I've felt from so many female doctors..too much opinion and judgment). He is a doctor who gives his expert advice and unbiased facts and opinions. He has delivered all three of my babies and has been attentive and there, going out of his way, every step of the way! Our third was in the NICU for a week and Spiro was there often, calling often and letting us check in with him when we needed. My husband even goes to him for everything, including a vasectomy. And if my husband likes the Dr. and will actually go, this really means something! Men never care for doctors, let alone want to go! We moved Redmond three years ago and all still travel to Edmonds because of him. We are truely blessed to have him as our family doctor and the only one who delivered all my kids. Now, with that being said, the reception has never been great. It's a real bummer. Even when calling and scheduling all my family's appointments they seem annoyed. I wish they could get some friendlier desk people who know what good custom service is!! I give 5 stars for Spiro, but the front desk would be a 3.

Due to personal reasons she has taken leave and in her place, they have seeing patients, Katy George. I really do highly recommend either Dr's. Both are everything a Doctor should be and more. The characteristic that caught my eye about Dr. Adrianna Mickelson is that she sees and treats members of the LGBTQ community. Or at least that's what I read on her bio in 2014 when I was searching for a primary care provider. Both are empathetic, the wait times are never long, they return phone calls quickly and visits are always pleasant. The facility is clean, check in and check outs are fast. All of the staff are cheerful and accommodating. I can always trust that my health needs will be met and I will be treated humanely no matter what. I would never go somewhere else. I've been trying to think of something negative to say to provide a con, but alas I cannot. Even their phlebotomists in the lab are really funny and I always enjoy my conversations with them. They make blood draws enjoyable, fast and painless. I'm not totally crazy, but who honestly can say they have a relatively enjoyable time getting their blood drawn? Not many.

Unfortunately, I have reached the point where I can't. This isn't about one bad experience. It is the accumulation of billing discrepancies, medication delays, lack of follow-up, and--most concerning--repeatedly being confused with other patients. I was specifically quoted $400 per month for my medication. Instead, I discovered I had been charged $450 per month for several months. When I questioned it, I was told it had never been $400. Fortunately, I still had the texts. I sent screenshots of THEIR OWN messages clearly quoting me $400. After I provided the proof, I waited for someone to simply acknowledge it and make it right. No meaningful response. No explanation. No reconciliation. That was really the final straw, but unfortunately it wasn't the most concerning issue. Recently, my medication was approximately three weeks late because I was told there had been a fire at the lab. Things happen--I understand that. What I don't understand is why I had to call the practice after my medication was already late to find out what was happening. Apparently, they didn't know about the problem either until they looked into it after I called. For a medication I was paying $450 a month to receive, I expected better oversight and communication. I was offered one complimentary semaglutide injection to get me through until my medication finally arrived. Then I went to a new provider. I learned that what I had been receiving was considered a very low/micro dose by my new provider. That was incredibly frustrating to hear. I had successfully lost approximately 70 pounds, but had been stalled for nearly two years. During that time, I had even been told after a body scan that I should lose another 20 pounds. We discussed increasing my dose and I was told doing so would not increase the price--yet I was already paying $450 per month. It left me with a lot of questions about exactly what I had been paying for. There were other issues as well. After losing approximately 70 pounds, I was actually excited to repeat my bloodwork and see whether my health markers had improved. I had to specifically request the labs, paid to have them done, and then discovered that having the results actually reviewed with me would require another appointment costing approximately $200. I can look at numbers on a lab report myself. I wanted the medical professional who ordered the testing to explain what those numbers meant for my health. But what bothered me most was repeatedly being confused with OTHER PATIENTS. I received communications about medications I hadn't requested, dosages that weren't mine, appointments I hadn't made, and procedures I had never discussed or authorized--including an appointment confirmation for HRT pellet therapy that I absolutely had not scheduled. After being a patient for more than five years, this wasn't just annoying. It concerned me. Last month, after being confused with another patient more than once regarding my dose and appointments, I was genuinely upset and in tears. I explained what had happened. The response I received? "Got it." No. At that point, I didn't feel like they "got it" at all. When someone trusts a medical practice with medications, hormones, lab work and their health, getting the RIGHT PATIENT, the RIGHT medication, the RIGHT dose, the RIGHT appointment and the RIGHT price shouldn't be too much to expect. Before posting this review, I gave Port Orchard Natural Medicine yet another opportunity to address my concerns. I sent them their own messages documenting the $400 price I had been quoted and gave them time to respond and make it right. They didn't. That's ultimately why I'm writing this. I'm genuinely disappointed because I remember when I felt very differently about this practice. I stayed for more than five years for a reason. But somewhere along the way, I stopped feeling like a longtime patient whose care mattered and started feeling like a monthly charge. I won't be one anymore. ( After I provided a screenshot of the practice's own $400 payment request and asked when I had been notified of the $450 charge, I received a response discussing my weight loss and suggesting that I held 'ill will' toward the practice's success. My billing question was not addressed".)

She seems fixated on 50/50 custody schedules, even when it does not make sense. Later, when we had a parenting evaluation, she provided testimony to the evaluator, even after she explained to both of us that she would never agree to testify against either of us. If I had known that she would do that, I would never have agreed to use her. Be careful - she will not hesitate to pick sides and reveal information that you thought was going to be kept confidential! Overall, I feel that using Karen hurt my legal case and was not in the best interest of my children.

When I first started seeing Jeanne last year I honestly felt that there was no hope for me in ever getting better or improving. I have followed her as a patient when she changed practices. I have met with other professionals over the years and felt that they would just proscribe me medications without listening or trying to figure out the underlining problems. Jeanne listens, she follows up, very quick to respond to emails and/or returns calls. There have been a few times when I felt that I was not reacting appropriately to medication so I would email Jeanne late at night and receive a reply within an hour answering my questions/concerns reassuring me that I'm ok. I, personally have always disliked taking any type of medication for anything, this does include something as small at tylenol. When she prescribed me my medication she took the extra time to fully explain to me and answer my questions regarding the medication. She is an absolute gem in her industry and I highly reccomend her. During these unsettling times during this Covid 19 pandemic she has been a great help and goes out of her way to help her patients.

We scheduled an appointment for our son over a month in advance, only to have it canceled by the office. We rescheduled, assuming -- reasonably -- that the provider would review his file and determine suitability before putting us back on the calendar. Instead, on the morning of the rescheduled appointment, Jeanne decided to finally review our son's file and then announced she was "not comfortable" providing care. After weeks of waiting. After two scheduled appointments. After no prior warning whatsoever. Yes, they did provide a referral -- but that does not excuse wasting a family's time for over a month or pulling out at the last possible moment. Referring someone elsewhere is meaningless when it comes after repeated cancellations and zero upfront diligence. Mental health care, especially for a child, is not something families can afford to have handled this casually. If a provider cannot determine whether they can treat a patient until the literal day of the appointment, that is not a minor oversight -- it is a fundamental failure of professional responsibility. This was lazy intake, poor judgment, and blatant disregard for the urgency of pediatric mental health care. Families deserve better than last-minute rejections and reactive damage control. I would strongly advise others to avoid this practice unless they're comfortable having their time wasted and their child treated like an afterthought.

I will always recommend out of hospital/midwife care, especially Sprout Birthing Center. Prenatal care: On point all around. All the traditional tests were offered to me to ensure there weren't any apparent complications that would make my pregnancy or birth high-risk. Birth: At the center. Arrived a little after 9pm to help move the pregnancy along (11 days overdue!). After hours birth meant my immediate family was able roam the center without interfering with day-to-day operations. My son was born at 11:01pm. Mayya and Brittni didn't rush me and didn't argue me when I said it was time to push. They let me control the birth. Their roles were simply to make sure we were healthy. After having a hospital birth with my second son, I can't rave enough about how much its truly means to drive your own birth. I was free to leave around 2 or 2:30am. 5 hours at the center and in home in bed to rest and heal! Can't complain about that! Postpartum Care: Thorough. Never once did I feel I wasn't being listened to. Billing: No issues as of yet ‍. I'll update if needed.

Instead of providing a prescription covered by my insurance, I was only given a list of medications to buy. Because I was very sick, I had to go to Walgreens and spend over $100 on medications that I could have received for free with a prescription. Later, I tested positive for COVID-19 and informed your team. The only response I received was "I'm sorry you have COVID, stay in quarantine for 5 days." At no point was I informed that COVID could lead to early labor. The day before delivery, when I entered active labor, I called again. My information was sent to Providence Everett, but I received no encouragement or support from any of the midwives. Ultimately, I had to undergo an emergency C-section because my baby's heart rate was unstable, and my newborn was transferred to Seattle Children's Hospital due to meconium aspiration. I did not hear from Sprouts until four days after my baby's birth, and the call was simply to say, "I'm sorry you went through that, let us know when you want to schedule your postpartum appointment." When I scheduled and came to my appointment, I felt dismissed and disrespected. At the front desk, I was asked "where's the baby" in an ironic tone, followed by "oh, I forgot, she's at the NICU." In my visit with Deborah, my concerns about missed communication and risks associated with my prolonged pregnancy were rejected instead of acknowledged with empathy. Despite my disappointment, I continued with follow-up appointments for postpartum care and birth control because I had no other provider at that time. However, I have consistently felt unsupported. Most recently, when I asked for an all-purpose nipple ointment (as recommended by the lactation team and nurses at Seattle Children's Hospital), I received a dismissive and questioning response instead of the prescription I needed. At this point, I believe the care I received from Sprouts Birth Center has fallen short of the support, compassion, and professionalism that should have been provided. For these reasons, I respectfully do not recommend this birth center at all.

We were referred to Nancy through our birth classes with Wendy Dean and it was instantly a great…read morematch. We were expecting our first child and were keen to have a low intervention hospital birth. We had not considered hypnobirthing but found the sessions with Nancy and the practice at home invaluable at the birth. Nancy had a calming confident presence during the birth which was short and intervention free. My husband had been reluctant to have a Doula as he was worried this would take away from his support role. Nancy was great at helping us to work together as a couple through the birth. We had an amazing birth experience which brought us closer together as a couple and we are both in no doubt, that it wouldn't have been such a positive experience without the preparation and support Nancy provided.

During labor, we did what we practiced and the mother later reported that this was the most helpful tool for managing the intensity. When a complication arose in labor, there was not a lot of time and several fast decisions had to be made. Having Nancy there as a trusted resource made all the difference. All it took were a few adamant nods of approval from Nancy to help me feel like the right decisions were being made. This helped avoid critical time delays since I normally would have wanted to spend more time to understand what was going on in more depth before making any decisions.
