I bought and paid for a door on 101/11/2025. The installer came to pick it up the next day. There was no door available because the clerk did not make it as sold. They then said it could take up to a month for the door. I called 5 weeks later, and the door was in stock. They never bothered to call me. They also refused to reimburse me for the first trip that I paid for. read more

Assuming based on recent reviews that, if you tell these guys specifically what to do like children, they're effective. That's not how I work. I expect you to do what you say you're going to do and I expect you to get stuff done without me having to babysit you. Lisbon sent someone out to measure a single door for replacement. The guy said, quote, "Lisbon will contact you to get the replacement scheduled". Lisbon never contacted. A week went by. When I reached out to them to find out what was going on, they basically said, "we have your info, we just need you to pick a door". The problem is, the guy who estimated said that LISBON WOULD CONTACT ME - not sit on it for a week. Which told me that they basically need to be led by the nose. And that's not what I'm paying for. read more

Outside of the service department, there is NO customer service. The owner (David) and Andre talked down to me so Rudely and unprofessionally. They refused to take my calls and I said I didn't like the tone they were talking to me in and I requested a phone call. I then got the email below. I don't care if the customer is wrong or right, you don't talk to people so unprofessionally. First thing they teach you in customer service, is to never tell the customer they are wrong. I had a round top window with casing and the casing came directly from the manufacturer. They never ordered the casing in the first place even tho my contractor included it in my quote. This was because Lisbon assumed I didn't want it. This was despite, one of their contractors talking with MJ about ordering the casing at great lengths . instead Andre blamed me and the owner was defensive, blaming, and rude . No casing has been installed. I never blamed the window installer for incorrect installation. The casing wasn't ordered to account for the reveal. Homeowner, did not do any measurements themselves. I just called Provia and they confirmed that Lisbon should have accounted for reveal when they ordered. read more

Will never go back. Kurt ordered the wrong windows, which set my bathroom project back 4 weeks. When i went to pick up the correct windows, I asked if they could knock some money off of the windows for the hassle and the sales rep, Todd, walked away saying "JESUS CHRIST". After he consulted with Kurt, he came back and said they already took a $1,000 loss on the wrong window order and that they rectified the situation by re-ordering the correct windows. How is their ordering mistake my problem? Also, some new screen frames they made for me were all scratched up. I HAD TO CALL AND FOLLOW UP 3 TIMES to finally find out that they were NOT going to remake them for me, and they offered me $40 off of my $300 order of screens. After complaining that a company with "Screen" in their name should be able to produce a screen that isn't all scratched up they did give me $75 off of my order....I would've rather had good screens, but we needed screens badly to get air moving through the house, so I just accepted them and decided to never go back. Then when they brought the screens back out to me they were all dirty on the bottoms, like they had been sitting in mud or muck or something. read more

I was recommended Lisbon Storms for custom and wood windows. I ordered 7 windows and they estimated it would take 2-3 weeks. I never heard from them and followed up. "We reached out to you on July 1st and left a voice mail. *Checked voicemail* No voicemail received. I had my service technicnian pick up the windows and spoke to a man on the phone about my concerns. His response? "We're busy with phone calls everyday we don't have time to keep track of people who don't have their voicemails set up. We're not going to call you more than once." RUDE! You're a business and I am a paying customer who already paid for 1/2 of their windows. Email conversations are worthless. You'll be talking to someone about a quote and all of a sudden they'll stop replying. If you want to get anything done, you'll have to call or meet in person. Staff memebers are not friendly. I don't recommend Lisbon Storm if you're looking for someone who wants to help with your home projects in an expedited manor. read more

We have used Lisbon Storm, Screen & Door to source Marvin replacement windows for the home. We also used Lisbon to source vinyl windows and doors for another property. The common element for both was Lisbon Storm & Screen. They were great during the planning, purchase, delivery, and servicing. We did have a few issues years after installation that required a couple of replacement parts. Lisbon stepped up and supplied what was required. read more

If you want a smorgasbord of doors and windows bother new and used, Lisbon is your place. They deal in high quality new products, and can get you whatever you need at a great price. When Home Depot couldn't help me with an off-sized door jamb I came here and they had it in multiple options. That is only half the greatness though! They also have a back room with thousands of old used doors and windows. Every size and shape you could want, they have. Lastly, the customer service is top notch. I'm in real estate and this is where I buy my basic windows and doors. They delivered in a timely manner and then my contractor installed them. They are pleasant to work with but my contractor is the one that tells them sizing and such so it was a piece of cake. I restore old houses so their used section of doors is really helpful to match the old doors already in the homes. read more

Quality products and knowledgeable staff. It's definitely the best place to get windows. You can get basic doors all the way up to specialty custom doors. Typically the quality is quite a bit better than Menards and not that more expensive. Definitely wish they had better hours, they definitely cater to contractors. read more

The company was highly responsive to a concern I had regarding a new window installed on my front door. They sent out a technician immediately to ensure the window did not shatter. Turns out there was nothing wrong with the window but the manner in which they responded to me was above and beyond excellent customer service. I highly recommend them! read more

Ordered custom made screens. Picked up next day. They were shrink wrapped in a bundle, so did not inspect. Went to install on the weekend and when unwrapping, noticed that all screens were baggy and loose. Returned to showroom on Monday and desk clerk took them in back, wrote on order that customer "feels screens are too loose", not screens are baggy and loose, despite asking him to compare tension with other screens on display in the showroom. Said they would be done in a week. Called to see if they were completed and was told that 2 were fixed, remainder fine and they could be picked up. Spoke to manager regarding poor treatment and concern that the other screens would still be in need of repair. Went to pick up in frustration, assuming that I would re-screen myself. As it turned out, all had been tightened. Subsequently, I sent message to company president. He called and instead of acknowledging my concerns, was defensive and said they have been in business for 70 years and know how to make screens. He would not even let me explain the problem. I assume not all of the fabricators have 70 years of experience. I did not want anything from him, just wanted to let them know how poorly I was treated. I then received a text message, supposedly from same person that read " You need mental help, I can refer physician if need" Exact quote. Wonder if this was actually from the company president, given the poor grammar and childish response to a customer. I should have taken pictures of all of the screens before returning, but assumed that there would not have been a problem. I did take a screen shot of the snarky text message sent to me. read more

If I could give a zeeo I would. This place sucks. They have had an order if mine for a month. At checkout they said a week and a half at most. I call once a week after two weeks. They are rude on the phone. Will not call back. Four weeks later still no screens. They have no idea what is going on witn my order as well. read more

This place is mostly a salvage yard and that needs to be considered. Yes they also do new windows and screens and they do a pretty good job of figuring out what you need. But anybody who is in a hurry needs to consider that nothing in this economy is going to be on-time for a few more years. read more

Lisbon Storm, Screen, and Door came recommended to us. Their independent installer (Dan) was pleasant to work with. He came by to measure ahead of our placing the order. From there, it was terrible to get in touch with MJ, the sales rep. He would text information and then be unresponsive for weeks on end. He would text that he'd be in touch and never follow through with a phone call. We weren't even able to get a finished quote for the scope of work. After 2+ months of no follow-through we are taking our business elsewhere. read more

I am really disappointed in this business. First of all it took over 8 weeks to receive the doors and schedule the installation. The installer who is basically an independent contractor did a decent job. But, now after only 10 months our pella door has paint chipping from it and the closing mechanism is already shot. Can a window store be eclectic?? If so, then Lisbon Storm definitely is. Maybe it's a result of their customers or perhaps it's the neighborhood in which they exists, but there is definitely something unique about this place. Lisbon is a veritable salvage yard of all things windows. Where else can you walk around their warehouse and pick through hundreds and hundreds of use screens, storms, windows, and doors? I have a house built in the 1920's and have recently used Lisbon for several screen repairs. All repairs were completed on time, and they look great! I had a few old screens that were not worth repairing, so Lisbon took my measurements and had them custom made in the color of my choice! I've been very happy with all of the products and repairs I've purchased from them. They carry every sort of new windows, doors, lock sets, etc.. Need anything custom made? They can help you with that.. Why only three stars? Maybe because of the counter service. Visiting the store during a busy time is pure and utter chaos. There is a take-a-number system just like a deli, but it doesn't usually help. There is a lot of yelling and a lot of people standing around. The guys behind the counter are really humping it; they move fast, talk fast, type fast, and do what ever they can to get you out the door fast. I get the impression that they really don't like their jobs though. You better know what you need before you walk through the door. Some of these guys can be brutal on the customers. Sorry boys, I don't live, eat, and breath this stuff like you do. Slow down and listen. You get way more satisfaction from your job when your customers leave happy. read more

Condescending and unfriendly!! Someone who appeared to be a manager actually rolled their eyes at me when I asked a question. I went there to drop off some old storm windows. They never paid me. You can tell many of the employees do not like dealing with the public. It's obvious they prefer contractors. Maybe they should consider closing their doors to the public. You've obviously been doing something too long and should change careers when basic and common things that go with the territory bother you!! I would steer clear of this place! read more

We were so excited about replacing our doors and spent a great deal of time choosing the right style and fit. Doors were delayed (which is fine), but our sales person (MJ) never called to communicate this. We were constantly having to call him for updates. Then when they were installed, there were issues with chipped paint, the lock didn't work and weather stripping was falling off. When we called, we had a great service rep come out to assess the situation. He seemed responsive - I even heard him call back to the main office to document the issues and request replacements. We were told it would be 2-3 weeks. But we are now another 2 months out and haven't received a proactive call letting us know timing. We have to always make the call, and when we get our rep, he blames everyone else around him and the excuses keep coming in. We'd be fine if there was just good communication! What should have been exciting and positive for us, and another sale for them (we have one more door to replace), has turned int0 over 6 months of poor communication and dissatisfaction in the end product. read more

The door that I ordered was delivered in a horrible color with drips and fingerprints. The problem was that I loved the door, just not the finish. Lisbon recommended a contractor that was able to give me exactly the finish I wanted, and they even got me a partial refund from the door manufacturer. It turned out beautiful! The window contractor they recommended did a sloppy job on my inside wall, so they offered to pay for the COMPLETE installation of my front door. When I had issues with MY contractor who had installed the front door, Lisbon sent their problem solving guy over and COMPLETELY resolved the problem, FREE of charge. If you've ever done much remodeling you know that problems ALWAYS come up. Lisbon resolved everything for me and I am thrilled with my 10 new windows, and front door with sidelights. I was recommended Lisbon Storms for my windows by my realtor and I could not be more disappointed. I ordered 8 windows in first week of July and was told 2-3 weeks. I totally understand that because of Covid this could potentially get pushed back. I called Lisbon a month after my windows were ordered and they told me that my windows were scheduled to be delivered on Monday September 14th. No one ever called me to advise me of this major delay. I waited until Wednesday the 16th to call them back, to which they told me that all of my windows came in. I advised my service technician that the windows were in and we scheduled an install for the following week. My service technician called Lisbon to confirm all of my windows were in....to which they also told him said yes. Low and behold....the day my windows are supposed to be installed, my service technician is IN PERSON at Lisbon and they magically no longer have my windows. I called Lisbon and they told me that they would have someone call the window company and call me back. I waited 6 hours and never received a phone call. When I called Lisbon back, the guy who answered the phone rudely told me he had no idea what I was talking about and that it wasn't his problem that the window company did not deliver my windows. Correct, but it is a problem that someone told me AND my service technician that all of my windows were in. This completely delayed my home remodel plans. To make things worse, this happened a second time. The week of September 21st, my service technician was contacted by Lisbon stating my windows were once again in. I scheduled him to install my windows on Monday October 5th, due to other projects that were scheduled to be completed. On Monday October 5th, Lisbon called me and stated I needed to pay the remainder of my balance in order for them to release my windows to my service technician. I paid that balance off. Within an hour my service technician is calling me to tell me that once again, Lisbon does not have my windows. When I called Lisbon, I got transferred to three different people and no one could give me an answer. Finally, I was told that someone would contact the window production company and call me back. Once again, I never received a phone call. My service technician was so fed up with this issue that he physically went into Lisbon to speak with someone. My service technician was given the same run around that we had been given twice before. The next day, my service technician went in a second time and magically all of my windows were in. I was told specifically that their deliveries are on Mondays, which means someone was either too lazy to check the inventory or they were too busy. Either way, all I wanted was communication for my windows. I finally got my windows three months and a headache later...Unfortunately, I have absolutely nothing good to say about this company. read more

I brought in a window to have broken glass replaced. When I put the window back into the slot, there was a good size gap on one side. Took it back in, and after they measured it, they said that they would tap it I guess to make it square. Brought it back home and the gap was even worse. Took it back in again. They told me that it was because the window frame must be bent and my home must have settled which irritated me. I guess I should have left well enough alone, but was looking for what they could do to make this better (customer service not excuses). Another employee (the owner i believe) stepped in, and we had a back and forth and he started telling me the window was square offered me his tape measure to measure it myself. I was ready to leave because we were not getting anywhere then he got in my face (he was not wearing a mask) screaming pointing his finger in my face telling me that I am being a smartass and screamed at me to get the fuck out. I go to this store because it is convenient. Their customer service has never been that great. My impression is that their main business is big contractors and off-the-street customer seem like a bother but tolerated. I will take my business elsewhere. read more

I honestly would not give these guys the time of day, because they wouldn't give me any of their time. Contacted Lisbon Storm Screen and Door Inc several weeks ago looking to replace an old 1980s door in my condo that accesses the garage from the condo. I was informed with brevity (-1 star), that I needed a 20 min burn door and that their door measuring guy Dan would need to come out to take measurements before a door could be selected for installation. They gave me his number and told me to call him (-1 star). Called Dan, on what I have come to determine is his personal phone number because of the way he answered it (-1 star), and after he got my address he asked me when I'd be available for him to come out. I responded, "I have the day off, anytime today is fine." He rebutted, "I'm not coming out today, I mean this week." "Well my schedule is flexible this week so anytime this week works, but I need about an hour notice." I replied "That's good, I'll be there later this week." "OK. Great!" I guess I should have been much more specific or particular with him, because I guess Dan decided my business wasn't worth the time to write me into his schedule, let alone call me, or even come out to measure my door (-5 stars). Super bummed that Lisbon doors didn't take care of me when an error on their part resulted in my screens being delayed two weeks past the week I already was going to have to wait to get them made. So for three weeks I had to leave my windows open with no screens resulting in animals and LOTS of insects getting into my house. When I talked to management about resolution, they just looked at me like I was crazy thinking that there was anything wrong with the fact that their error resulted in significant problems for me. And of course, there was no resolution. I have been patronizing this business for years, but I'm afraid I can no longer do so. I don't have a problem with mistakes; however, I have a huge problem when people aren't willing to take responsibility for them. Be aware: I was told they were backed up 300 screens as a result of their mistake; so I obviously was not the only customer affected. My expierence was with the owner David Wilhelm and staff. Received a cracked window lisbon sent a tech out because sales rep did not believe it was possible made it seem like he thought I cracked it.. WIthin seconds tech determined it was factory or lisbon responsible so he took it for a week heard nothing on when I would get a new window. I called twice the first of which I did not receive a call back so called again. Sales rep said window was ordered a week after it was picked up but then recalled that statement. These windows have a 7-10 day delivery commitment which was originally late and the cracked window took 6 weeks to get. The sales person yelled at me for asking for my window. Asked for the owner David Wilhelm who called me a jerk and said I was whining he promised to mail a refund check and did not until I called a week after it was supposed to be delivered to me. Very unprofessional operation saw a screaming match in the parking lot with an employee and customer. Will never shop here again ever.
