Lisa's whole vibe is completely off. Money making over beauty of the client not to mention mediocre cleanliness throughout the entire establishment. I sent my daughter to get a hair do and she returned crying about how much she spent to only not look what she expected to. Lisa's Touch might need some training especially the rude boss lady. read more

This place sucks and the owner Lisa is a snob and treats her worker with no respect. Extremely pricey for horrible work. Very disappointed with Lisa and her work. I'm only submitting one star since I can't submit my review without choosing at least one star. If not she would have got no stars. And she loves to bash other hairstylist. Shameful for someone who calls themselves professional read more

Lisa's Touch - Just a picture of me. No not Lisa work She's very unprofessional - Hair Stylists Near Me - Little Falls, New Jersey

Lisa has been nothin but helpful and was able to safely bleach and color my hair all the colors I have asked for! I have had previous problems at other salons with blonde but Lisa is very confident and reassured my hair would not get damaged in her care. I have been here several times for cuts, deep condition treatments, and color. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a professional well thought out hair style! The staff is very friendly and always have a warm welcome! Very professional place! read more

Lisa's Touch is a salon where you go and feel welcome!Professional at what they do & knowledge on your hair care. My curls have never been this healthy even when I get highlights I don't loose my curls. Hocus pocus treatment is a must, the treatment is like a "Gatorade" to my curls( shiny, bouncy, hydrated &healthy) read more

Requested a haircut and I got it. Overall was a pleasant visit but so extremely expensive. I pay that much in the city for a complicated color plus cut. I don't know if I'll go back. It's very very pricey read more

I love Lisa. She's been doing my color, cuts and treatments for some time now and she's the first hair stylist I met that actually pays attention and really wants to know how you want your hair done, so she can satisfy you in the best way possible. She also makes sure you understand what can and can not be done (depending on previous damage or color treated hair) so that you don't lose the integrity of your hair or texture. I think she is misunderstood for her sternness and being straightforward. From my experience she's very compassionate and even contacted me after my hair appt to check on how I liked my hair. She's fun and makes me feel comfortable. I recommend her always! read more

LION CUT!! BEST PLACE FOR CURLY HAIR I always go to Lisa's touch for hair cut, color, style. Lisa and her team were friendly, professional and fun to be around. This salon will help you rejuvenate your curls and keep it healthy as well. I recommend everyone to go to her. read more

Worst place to go get your hair done. The owner is very rude to start off. You enter to place to very old tools and dirty place. You are not allowed to pay with a credit card because she has to "pay" a charge for using a credit card. If she does not want to pay the charge than she should not accept credit cards as a payment. She gives her employees attitudes and does not provide any guidance when you have a beginner doing your hair. When you set an appointment with Lisa herself, she is not doing your hair, someone who just started doing hair is doing it. First time visitors are not welcomed because you feel very uncomfortable. I will never go back. I would rather go to Sheek in Passaic, I only didn't go because they were booked. To improve Lisa's Touch service, you should be more welcoming to paying customers to get more referrals. Watch your Instagram account with salon humor because pictures of comments such as hurting someone with scissors is not a good look. Hot tools should be updated at least every five years. Had a very bad experience, would not go back unless I was paid. read more

I've always seen people talk about Lisa and how great her work on Instagram is. They are not wrong if you look on her page, her work looks amazing. I finally decided to book an appointment. I paid a $35 deposit for a consult. This consult was not inside of the salon but in the back under a tent. This was fine with me because I understood I was the last client of the day and with Covid she just wanted to be safe. Which is fine since we were just talking. I believe it was supposed to be 30 min long. Which it was not. Not even 15 minutes. I told her I wanted to be as blonde as possible. Showed her a picture , she stated that she did not like to critique people's work. But still critiqued the other hairstylists work. She told me that color was done wrong and she would do it right. I did not say anything since she is the hairstylist I trusted her to inform me what blonde would match me. I paid a $200 deposit with a 6% charge (pretty sure the % isn't supposed to be charged) the day of my appointment I was early and she was very attentive because someone was before me for a tone and she did not want to make me wait. But I was fine since I knew I was early. I was told I would be there for 5 hours. But I was barely there for 2 hours. She asked me again day of what I was getting which was weird because she wrote it down. It's like she didn't remember. But that is okay I showed her the picture two more times. Her staff was pleasant. The conversation was okay. But she kept on saying little comments about my hair that was rude. When my hair was in good condition. The day of the consult, she never said the integrity of my hair was bad / it would take multiple sessions to get what I want. So day of when she was saying this it was annoying because it was never mentioned before. Long story short I did not get the color I wanted. I messaged her with my concern & it was not handled professionally. I paid $500 for my hair to be basically the same. She brought the color up a bit because I did have growth but did not give me what I wanted. My main concern was that I did not want brown tones. I said this multiple times. She said she understood but still gave me brown tones. Her hair masks are great but the $500 was not worth it because she barely communicated with me when I had concerns about the after product. read more

After some research and not wanting to travel too far I decided to go to Lisa for a haircut. I wish I would have just traveled. I first found a little ridiculous the $35 consultation fee that you lose if you end up not wanting to go to her. Why should a customer have to pay $35 after finding out that you may not be the right stylist? I guess this is a tactic to make new customers stay anyway. I go anyway. She seems to be a moody person. Anytime she wanted to give me direction it would be in a very rude way. She had a problem with my legs being crossed, because somehow that would mess up the haircut. Which is okay I understand, but it is just her delivery. I have never in my life received such rude service for something that I am paying for. Her services aren't cheap, you would think she would be more professional, friendly, and welcoming. Overpriced for this type of treatment if you ask me. The shape of the hair I liked but she cut more than I asked. I was a little sad for a few days until I started getting a bit used to the short hair. Please do not let her instagram fool you. Extremely overrated, rude, and unprofessionalism is what you'll run into. read more

i've had a classmate say nothing but positive reviews about this salon and she has the most beautiful look hair cut. I called and made an appointment on the phone and told them i wanted a curly cut. i was told that the deposit was 50 and the that hair cut would come out to about 100. I knew it was overpriced but I had really high hopes for this place so I was okay with paying that price. I went in it was very clean and organized and were very cautious due to covid. The young girl that washed my hair was super sweet but Lisa herself and as very rude, snarky and passive aggressive. She rushed through my haircut (turned out very uneven) left side of my was longer than the right and she charged me 225 dollars and didn't even bother to deep condition or put products in my hair and style it. When I addressed the price she said it was because i had "a lot of hair" and" it's very thick" which both are very untrue seemed like she had just taken advantage of me since i was young and seemed shy. long story short i left the salon feeling robbed with dehydrated hair an uneven hair cut read more

Had the most pleasant and satisfying experience from the moment I walked in to the end of my session with Lisa!!! Her staff was equally as kind and pleasant!!! I must be honest and say I was hesitant to go to Lisa's from reading certain comments. But I am super glad I did. Not only was booking the appointment fun and easy, but the very moment I walked in,to the moment I walked out was pleasant . Lisa was very knowledgeable and knew my hair better then me. She was super fun and spunky and we talked like we knew each other for years. The price was definitely reasonable and the haircut was PERFECT!. I am so glad I decided to go to her rather then over priced salons that care more about exposure then their actual job. You can see the passion flowing through Lisa. I will recommend her to anyone. read more

I love Lisa and her signature Lion Hair Cuts!! Lisa has saved my curls time after time!!! After another great lion hair cut today - before moving to Cali, Lisa was my go to for my non-voluminous hair... unfortunately after moving I have yet to find someone who can cut my hair as good as Lisa. She always knows how to bring my curls to life! I recommend her to everyone I know with curly hair. She's a wizard! read more

I've been coming to Lisa for almost 2 years now, and I wouldn't go anywhere else. She somehow remembers (better than even I do) how I'd like my hair cut. She also makes great suggestions on changing up the style and listening to what kind of look you want. She even gave me a nice beard trim a few times. She's very sociable and personable, and I genuinely enjoy my time in there. I usually call the morning of and they usually can work me in. Also, very rarely do I have to wait more than a few minutes from when I arrive for my appointment. Oh yeah, some of the best shampooing I've ever had was at Lisa's Touch--courtesy of the very lovely Melissa--which is included in her great prices. I usually get compliments on my hair after I visit her. Thanks Lisa! read more

The haircut was fine ($80 for a trim on waist length curly hair and it was about 2inches that was cut). The Hispanic girls in the back that washes my hair were super sweet, attentive and welcoming. But Lisa? Rude, condescending and did what she wanted rather than what you asked for. read more

Booking a consultation for $35 and not being able to reschedule is a scam, poor "company" policy and unprofessional. If someone pays you $35 they will be attending the appointment, regardless of when it was scheduled. As a benefit of the doubt, even a 24hr or 48hr consultation is understandable. Business is not just about you and your convenience, it's about your customers as well. It speaks volumes that you have such a poor policy in place. Glad I never even went to begin with. read more

Lisa does have some talent IF AND ONLY IF you can get past her negative attitude and terrible customer service. Her secretary is a doll however, not Lisa. Like I said she does have some talent and knows what she is talking about for the most part however, service (like being human) is not there. Very poor attitude. I went to Lisa maybe a handful of times and each time I walked out of there feeling unheard and ignored. I went for the first time and called to come in. They said I had to do a consultation for $35, I thought that was ridiculous but I thought hey maybe this is like a half hour and she's really going to educate me on my hair. I went to the consultation and drive very far to get there to only get about ten minutes of her time. I basically paid for her to tell me my hair had heat damage (which I already knew duh). I decided to go back but I explained that I was not happy with a ten min consul and wanted to use that money towards a credit on my first appointment. They did honor that, good. I ended up getting a cut and color which I was very happy with. Every time I asked Lisa a question, she appeared bothered by it. I brought in the products I was currently using and she would even look at them. She goes, " I don't use those products so I don't know anything about them." Like c.mon u can't help guide me if ur such an expert. She kept walking away thinking I was going to leave but I was determined that she look at my products. She came back and looked extremely annoyed by me. I felt uncomfortable asking her anything. The only way she talks to you Is IF you PAY FOR HER TIME by getting a consultation. I understand time is money but when ur in the back drinking and eating and kissing your boyfriend ur not making any money. Believe me I do not go on here to write bad reviews about people but I had enough and people maybe this will help her change her attitude and be more welcoming. The look of the place is also pretty bad hopefully they fix it but you can look past that if the service was better. The final thing that happened to me was I missed an appointment with her because of a true personal emergency. I called to tell her what happened and reschedule my appointment and her secretary is told to tell me I have to pay (I think it was like$75) for the missed appointment. I said WTF why? She said because she lost money because of me. I completely understand if this is your policy HOWEVER, no one EVER told me this. If this is your policy you should clearly tell people this so that they know. When I told her that no one told me about this she said, "Well by you confirming your appointment you should know." Wth does that even mean. You mean to tell me I'm supposed to assume that you charge? I have been to many salons and if you miss and appointment so be it, they do not charge you they just take walk ins. What is this a lawyers office or doctors office? Which by the way it doesn't seem like she takes walk ins. Terrible service and I feel bad that I told many people about her after my first visit even though I didn't like her attitude but did like her talent. I went back to all those people I told and made sure none of them went to her. Sorry but this is not the way to do business. I only went here because Tiffany from Tiffany tattoos goes here and her hair looks beautiful however, after talking to her I learned that she makes her own conditioners which is why her hair is so healthy. All Lisa does is color it. She is a color expert but does not know how to talk people and just gives everyone a stank face and bad attitude. As far as price, I think it is pricey but now a days every salon Is pricey and she claims to use great products. read more

$35 for a consultation? What is this a law office? Lol. It's not even a 5 star salon and they have the nerve to charge $35 consultation fee just to tell you how much it will cost to dye your hair. An experienced colorist can take one look at your hair and give you a price in minutes . I'm not paying someone $35 to give me a price. This salon is one of the smallest salons I have ever seen. It looked like there were about a handful of seats (if that) . read more

I'm SUPER picky (the kinda picky that drives 45 mins to get her nails done). Add the fact that it is nearly impossible to find someone that knows how to cut curly hair, without making you look like a poodle, I dread getting hair cuts. Well, Lisa is a gift from the curly Gods! I absolutely LOVE my "Lion head" cut!! My curls haven't looked so healthy and bouncy in years (even after a Deva cut)!! PLUS the lesson plus the diffuse she never mentioned extra for this. My daughter left crying because she didnt get her hair diffused. Extremely unprofessional place. I went to get a haircut and not only did I feel like I was stepping into a crowd of high school kids but dirty place on top of all. Lisa is so rude along with the rest of the staff. You feel judged the minute you walk in. Some people need to remember where they started and where they can end up. Seems like nobody other then the staffs friends or relatives are liked in that place. If you aren't a friend of theirs your not even acknowledged as a customer. I usually don't do this. But I am for this salon. I was recommended to come to this salon by a friend that got color done with Lisa. Which she said she's good to do my cut. I wanted to cut all the bad hair away and start nice and fresh. I showed her 3 different pics of what I wanted and I wanted her to put into my own look. I was super nervous because I did this once b4 and it went awesome. And I wanted it to go the same. The girl was chill and she understood everything I wanted. I felt like I was explaining myself to Lisa. But she was into everything else around her that it she wasn't listening to me. She just did whatever she wanted not what I wanted. She expressed that I took the place for someone that had canceled. So I got out of work super early and made it there on time just so that she took time on my hair and did what I wanted done. I've never in my life has a experience like this. I was rushed and I got all my hair chopped off. Everything. What was left was the top of my hair. She then started telling me that my scalp had build up. Mind you I went to the hair salon once a week. The next day I was so scared I actually went to the doctors. And there was nothing wrong with me but a dry scalp. Another 2 hours wasted. She made me feel horrible. And my hair is so chopped up. It's crazy. So uneven everywhere. I'm actually sitting in someone else's chair to fix the mess she did. I'm so upset that I went with this lady Lisa because of the young lady I follow Tiffany tattoos and her hair is awesome but realizing that Lisa did her color and nothing more. I'm upset I sat there and put my hair in someone hands and it didn't work out at all. She was very aggressive. And when someone books a appointment regardless of how much time you had you never make them feel rushed. I paid 140 in total. Which I got my eyebrows done by Melissa which they came out awesome it's hurts me that I won't be coming back. Cus Melissa is great and super nice. Horrible place. Everything was just bad. Bad vibes. Thanks for the horrible job Lisa. read more

I came to Lisa's salon after quarantine. The last time I had my hair done was in January. However due to circumstances and everything closing down left with with no choice. I decided to choose this salon after my hair dresser had passed away. I had explained to the girl over the phone exactly what I wanted she told me it would be around $200.00. I was required to leave a $106 deposit which I did. The day of my appointment I came into the salon requesting an ice blonde color which I always had. I had some regrowth of natural hair since it had been some time that I last got it done. I asked for a balayage and was told it wasn't possible that I needed to do baby lights instead. Lisa insisted that she tone my roots down since they had a little tint of gold in it. However I insisted I didn't want my roots touched since I never had done that before. Fine I let her do it since I trusted her. However after 5 hours of being in the salon due to her staff didn't book my appointment correctly she also took two haircuts in between me. I come to realize after my hair was washed I had a blue tint by my roots. Lisa stated it would wash out after two washes which it didn't. I messaged her about the issue as well as my hair started turning yellow and she had me come into the salon same day so she can remove the blue and retone my hair. After she retoned my hair it looked so much better and felt like a relief that I can finally wear my hair down again. However not even a week after she corrected it and toned my hair started turning yellow again! It was like have two toned hair I hated it. I messaged her again about the problem I was having and she requested for me to make an appointment to have it retoned again. Me being in the profession and having my license as well I went to the salon store to purchase toner and did it myself. After toning it, i got so many compliments verses when she had done my hair, everyone would say i see blue or yellow. After paying $490.00 I had this many problems with my hair it wasn't worth it at all. She tried to say she did color correction however she matched the outgrow hair to my roots and toned it. The price was absolutely absurd and I will never recommend anyone to this salon ever. I requested to receive half my money back since I was not satisfied. However she was very unprofessional about it and stated that "It's people like you that can't afford the look they want" So you complain to get it done for free" That's not how you talk to clients, the price wasn't a problem until after all the problems I had encountered. This was beyond ridiculous. I DONT NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE, THIS SALON IS HORRIBLE AND SO UNPROFESSIONAL ALL LISA CARES OUT IS THE $$$$$ SIGN. She is horrible at doing hair and acts like she knows it all but she doesn't know sh*t. She pretends like she is full of knowledge, once you leave the salon you will hate your hair like I did. I requested for my money back and she blocked me on instagram like a little child. As a business owner she is bad for business and can't even conduct real professionalism. HORRIBLE!! She has a nasty attitude. I WILL NEVER EVER TELL ANYONE TO COME HERE. When you run a business you are suppose to make your clients satisfied. I don't even style my hair anymore because of this bullshit. I can't wait to get my hair fixed by a real professional who knows what there doing. I decided to come here simply because I think tiffanytattoos is gorgeous and her hair !! I wanted to know where she got her hair cut and saw that she had reposted Lisa's salon . I was thrilled I couldn't wait . As soon as I walked through the door I felt the attitude . The lady who washed my hair was very nice too bad I don't know her name . The owner however came across very rude with a huge attitude . Walks around like her shit don't stink . She treats her employers very rude my heart goes out to them. Now as for my hair I came in for Lisa's specialty she supposedly claims she is the queen of the lions hair cut and boy was she "lieng" . I left with my hair wet because i wanted to style it at home since the day I left her salon I hated my hair the second I styled it at home . I haven't left it curly since . I went to my original hair queen to get a blow dry and have been blowing my hair out ever since . When my hair is straight you see the real "disaster" this woman Lisa has created . Never again will I ever step foot in this place. If you can't be nice and loving to your clients nor have work to back it up this isn't the job for you . Welp . I want to thank luxe beauty bar in cliffside park nj for fixing this disaster krish you are amazing !!!! read more

I liked my haircut but honestly would never go back, had an horrible experience. I needed a hairstylist close by since I go to New York to get my haircut, and I can't go as often as I need to since I'm always working or at school. I asked around and checked online and found Lisa's. I called that morning and got an appointment right away. As soon as I got there I was greeted by Josie. Only waited for about 5minutes. There was only one other girl who was getting her hair colored. As soon as my hair was washed and sat down for Lisa. That's when it all began. Lisa started cutting my hair ( I have straight and very long hair ) as soon as she started cutting Josie try to sweep behind her. Suddenly Lisa started yelling at her right next to my ear, about how she can't do that and she needs to wait. Lisa tells me to get up and look straight since I have long hair. I turn to ask her how much is she cutting she started yelling and rolling her eyes at me for moving. I had no idea she was cutting it already. She didn't even try to make conversation with me the whole time. When I was done she just said its this amount and that's it. I had a quick question and I asked her. Her response was busy right now I can't answer your questions you have to wait til I'm done with my client. I honestly felt like a cash cow. She has me there to make quick money since she had to wait for her other customer to dry. I don't care about the price if the service is good I don't mind. But her service is horrible. I don't understand how she has 5 stars. read more

Lisa's touch is a great place to get you and your partners hair done! I can't tell you how often I'd go to a hair salon and come out unsatisfied. At Lisa's touch Lisa genuinely cares! First you set up a consultation. The consultation is $35. In this consultation she evaluates your hair. This determines whether your desired hair color can be done. Lisa is honest! She gives you the time to ask her questions. She also tells you how to maintain your hair after the process is done. The consultation is important for the customer because it lets you meet Lisa and also gives you a real expectation of what can be done with your hair. When I went I knew I wasn't going to someone that would give me some bs color. I knew I was in good hands. I knew she wouldn't gas me up to have my hopes given up. She's honest! I appreciate that so much because people scheme and lie. However Lisa always tells you the truth. Her work is beyond amazing! She actually really cares! I know the young lady before me wrote a scrappy review but the proof is in the puddin! Look at the pictures this woman gives you satisfaction guaranteed! My boyfriend and I both got complimented soooo much! I love her work sooooo much! If you want a great hair experience go to Lisa's Touch! You won't regret it! read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I found Lisa online and really admired her work so I decided to come in to get a cut and dye job. I met up with Lisa, who seemed like a nice, attentive person during our consultation and she explained to me that before I can dye my hair the color I wanted, I needed to do a treatment for my hair, which alone was over $300. Then I had to strip my hair, (she couldn't tell me how many sessions I would need), which is another $200-300 PER session. So overall I would be spending over $700 and I'd still be waiting for the cut and dye job! She had me leave a $100 deposit so I could book my appointment (which by the way, wouldn't be for another MONTH AND A HALF) and I asked her about her refund policy if I were to cancel because I'm not a very decisive person and I wanted some time to think about it. She told me as long as I called two weeks before my appointment date, I could get my money back. So I called her back to cancel a week later after thinking it over and realizing it would cost me over a grand to get the final product. I call her a whole month before my appointment date, and she CHANGES HER POLICY and tells me the deposit is non refundable. We had some back and forth talk and then she tells me I can get my money back if someone else comes in and books an appointment for that date. Otherwise, I can kiss my money goodbye. As soon as she heard the frustration in my voice, she hangs up on me. I had to call my bank and file a claim against her so I could get my money back. Such a headache!!!! If I could give her zero stars, I would. Very unprofessional, Lisa. read more
