Their fried chicken is excellent and reasonably priced. Their hush puppies are god-tier.

I ordered a 3 pcs meal and asked for ice tea. Lady told me they didn't have it but could get it from the store cooler. No problem so I grabbed one and went back to the counter to pay. Then I am told I need to spend more to use my debit card again. I showed her my order and she said didn't matter and I should just buy some candy then that would be enough. I left without a drink and won't go back read more

Lisa's Fried Chicken - Special - located outside - drive thru - Chicken Wings Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

We got 2 orders of 24 mixed chicken only for $62.98 for an office luncheon. MAKE SURE YOU CALL THEM FOR ACCURATE PRICES, as online prices are outdated. They come with rolls, tasty ones in an unsealed bag. The pieces were good size, well-cooked, & perfectly crispy. I put order 30 minutes prior to pick up at 10:45, as they preferred it (they didn't want order a day ahead). Everything was ready as promised at time of pick up. We like their fried catfish as well. They really need to put updated menu pricing online. We were comparing our food options based on our budget, would be much easier if we could access prices online! read more

The mac n cheese was okay, the fries were good, but the chicken carried . Presentation wise it was okay but it was very crispy and juicy. I think it would really be leveled up by integrating a fry seasoning and using bread slices over the roll. The lady at the window was very nice and got my food out quick. Left her a tip and she smiled at me and left me some okra in my plate. Chill chicken joint at a corner store. I will definitely come again. read more

Lisa's Fried Chicken - 3pc dark w fries nd mac n cheese. - Chicken Wings Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

The fried chicken is amazing! The skin is crunchy and the chicken is juicy. Great value too!

Great food definitely get again good was cooked all the way and chicken was so good everything was good and nothing was missing

Having lived in the area for the previous ten plus years, I have never eaten here. A friend picked me up for an errand and swung by Lisa's for a quick bite to eat. Recognizing a great opportunity to try it out, I figured, "What the heck?!" Honestly, it wasn't the best food I've ever eaten, but it was enough to earn four stars. I would definitely eat here again as the food was a great value for the price paid. read more

Mmm mmm chicken and fish. $20 for 10 fish or 15 chicken plus two lg sides. Good deal, great for when you have a craving for yummy catfish!

Mashed potatoes and rolls were okay at best and not worth adding to the meal. Rolls came out of a bag, not the oven; and the mashed potatoes were lame with a consistency similar to that of mixed potato flakes. Although the chicken was better than KFC and Popeyes as of late. read more

Delivery is so affordable thru DoorDash because the food is so inexpensive and tasty. Lisa's has great fried catfish, fried chicken and the okra is good too. Make sure you tell them to give you plenty of tartar sauce. Yum. read more

Go to Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken. The chicken at Lisa's is terrible. It's chewy, the Mac and cheese is very bland and the mash potatoes are okay. I never buy food from restaurants out of gas stations and now I know why. Lol! Save your money for Gus's instead. read more

Lisa's Fried Chicken - Fried chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese and a roll. We had to season our food. Still tastes terrible. - Chicken Wings Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

Easy 4 starts. The fried chicken is good, the sides are not the best but the prices are unbeatable. Great takeout restaurant read more

Lisa's is my go to spot when I don't wanna cook dinner LOL. Very convenient to stop on the way home. Staff is cool and attentive.

I have visited this location twice and found it to be cheap, in every way. Presentation, the store design is ugly, health dangers, price, menu design, ridiculous employee conduct, errors taking orders due to language issues are just a few of the problems at this store, but you get what you pay for. I only visited since someone else was buying and I doubt I will every buy from them myself. It literally is ordering food in a gas station with heavy emphasis on beer sales since all four walls are refrigeration units stocked full of beer. I never noticed employee washing there hand when going from handling cash to handling food. The quality of food is ok, but I rather go to KFC. Great for people wanting to get drunk and eat tasty fatty foods but it lacks appeal to me. If you're the type who wants to drink two 40 ouncers and scarf down chicken licking your fingers and passing out in a food alcohol coma then by all means go for it. Not my style and there is better fried chicken fast food stores around Fort Worth. read more

Lisa by far makes the best catfish and fried chicken. Just my opinion, which is the only one that counts right now. Lol. Please bring on to SW side. read more

Always great catfish...please continue serving great fish. Don't change a thing. I'll keep coming back. Only to Hemphill store. The other Lisa's some how aren't as good as this one. read more

first off this place is nothing more than a gas station convenient store that has tables inside for eating. the chicken was not bad but nothing special either. I'm always one for asking the locals where to eat. I had 3 transit drivers tell me to try Lisa's chicken. well it was ok but it wasn't nothing special. the prices were reasonable though. since this was inside a store I was able to have my favorite soda witch was big red so that made it better lol. read more

This place is close to my work. I could not stop thinking about the chicken the first time I had it. You can pay high prices at other chicken places but you will NEVER get the amount for the price you get here. Even the fried fish is fantastic. Two giant planks. My favorite is the No 13. 5 chicken strips. $3.99. Can't eat it all. Don't listen to the other reviews. Stop here and you will go back. I'm really happy that I have a Lisa's right around the corner from my house now. Go get it. Don't wait. read more

Huge fans of this place. Moved from Cali and looking for amazing food. No luck. But this place is pretty amazing. Catfish is A+.

This place is cheap good fried chicken we had the fish for the first time it was nothing to brag about I'll stick to the chicken

Best catfish I've ever had. Fresh hot and fabulous. I love the "gas station setting". Service is friendly and fast! Try it! You won't be disappointed!!! read more

Gas station food?? This place is great, more like a fast food place that just happens to have gas pumps outside. We had the #5 catfish combo. Great price and good portions. Two full filets with two sides. The fish was fried perfectly and my green beans were seasoned nicely. My counterpart had green beans and corn on the corn, which was a full ear. Judging by the continuous traffic inside and out (they have a drive thru) this is a popular local spot. When you're in the area and want some fried food, that's not greasy, check out Lisa's Fried Chicken. read more

Don't let the location scare you off, the chicken is awesome. This is a regular Sunday stop for me because you can get a full dinner for less than $5. read more

Hemphill has a ton of of scary looking gas stations slinging fried chicken. This one just happens to be my favorite.

Best Lisa's in the city and also the best gas prices. Pretty much all the food is great, good prices on drinks as well. I wouldn't buy any of the stuff under the counter. Try to avoid during the rush hour times because you won't be able to get in or out. read more

The chicken is very good and has always Been fresh. And the catfish is off the hook.I haven't tried much else.

this location has no tables or chairs because its design for the working class man getting lunch on the go! my usual is the 5pcs chicken tenders with corn on the Cobb and fries on the side...delicious!! the staff are always quick with your order and they have a wall-to-wall selection of beverages read more

My husband usually stops in here for lunch since his work is right down the street and is always bragging about it. My first time experiencing it was great, was kind of like a Chicken Express but a lot cheaper. It is like everyone else on here is describing it...a gas station with a couple of chairs, yes there are Mexicans working here but they've understood my english every time (and I've gotten different things on different occasions). The reason behind my two stars is because once I've gotten sick off of it, I'm done. But I did eat jalapenos from the house with my chicken so I can't narrow it down to just the chicken (I've never gotten sick off of jalapenos before but hey there's a first time for everything), but still not taking chances. This place is always so busy and is delicious fried chicken. There were other factors that day that left me upset...1)opened the gravy & it was just water 2) they shoved everything into one bag in all kinds of directions that by the time we got home the okra was at the bottom of the bag, not in it's cute little white box 3)don't know if they were out of the hawaiian rolls, they didn't tell us anything, but we got hot dog buns for rolls 4) and top reason was I got sick off of it! So hopefully someone that works there reads these reviews and realizes there's something that they're not doing right and maybe cleans the place up and makes the employees wash their hands after handling money or at least put some food handling gloves on. read more

This review is for the Camp Bowie location. The French fries were great, but my friend couldn't eat her fish. Said it had a funny taste to it. I ordered the chicken strips and they were so hard, I'm not convinced that it was actually chicken! Never again!!! read more

this place is disgusting. all the candy/gum at the counter has dust/dirt on it. they don't cook the food and when you tell them that your eating dough because the corn dog was not cooked completely they get angry and won't give you your money back. I will NEVER go there again.. read more
