They then allowed a student dental hygienist to perform these fillings which, at the time, I did not know was completely inappropriate and should only be done by a dentist. Ever since then, I've had severe tooth pain in one of the teeth they filled making me unable to fully bite down on food on the left side of my mouth. This is a painful issue I have to deal with daily. I also have had to spend lots of money on other dental appointments that were unable to fix their mistake. Now I am left with the decision of getting a root canal in a tooth I never had problems with to begin with. Would never go back or recommend this place to anyone.

Was sold a monthly program that would cover cleaning twice a year and required x-rays as well as a 25% discount on all dental work. However.. when the time came for an extraction and preparation for an implant.. I was quoted over $1000 for the extraction a bone graft. And the remainder of the implant process would be well over $5000 for a single tooth. Much more than I was quoted from my previous dental office. When I asked if I was receiving my 25% discount I was informed that it didn't apply to surgical work. Not cool.

I was covered under…read moremy father's insurance which was top-shelf dental insurance and they made sure to use it to their advantage. First. He sent me to an oral surgeon to get my wisdom teeth taken out, and when I came back, I had my wisdom teeth out PLUS 3 back molars removed! I was only 17 so of course I didn't know anything about dentistry or really what he was doing! Weeks later for the follow-up appointment, I asked, "What happened to my back molars?" and McGue said, "Oh you don't need those." Fast forward 15 years later and I DID need those teeth! The shape of my face changed because of the unnecessary removal of 3 healthy back molars. He then did a bunch of crowns and fillings that through the years have all broken off, fell out, and need to be replaced. I'm now in the process of finding a new dentist to fix all his work. Do NOT recommend.

When he left there to start his own practice, our family left Hurst's and went with Dr. McGue. That has been quite a long time ago. I have since gotten married - and my husband is now also a patient of Dr. McGue as well. His staff is very professional and very kind. His Dental Hygeniests are all wonderful and do a lovely job. Going to the dentist is never on anyone's list of favorite things to do, but Dr. McGue and his staff make the experience as pleasant as can be. We wouldn't think about going anywhere else.

First, I was greeted upon my arrival with a very pleasant receptionist, Stacey, who was attentive to it being my first time there and was able to get me checked in the moment I arrived. My dental hygienist was Paige, and she was very informative on what she was doing from start to finish. She was very thorough taking x-rays and she did a fabulous job cleaning my teeth and was so gentle that I didn't have a single moment of tooth or gum irritation during the cleaning process. Last was the dentist, Dr. Lisa, who listened and answered all the questions and concerns with knowledge and understanding of my dental health that I was completely at peace at the end of my appointment. Thank you Aurora Dental Wellness

Unfortunately I had too much bone loss to keep the bottom denture in place. So they suggested getting a couple of implants, and then modifying the bottom denture so it snapped on to those implants. They recommended an oral surgeon, who did a fabulous job. When my mouth had heaedled from the implant surgery, I came back and dr. Lisa helped make the modifications to my bottom denture which works like a charm. When I had some sore spots from the bottom denture she was very quick to respond and make adjustments to the bottom denture to relieve the pain at night charge. Everyone here: the front desk ckerk, office manager, dental assistants and Hygenist, and the doctor, is just wonderful. The whole process of implants and modification took about a year. When I was finally able to eat "real food" again they celebrated with me like family.

Both times the receptionists were not nice at all. After my son had his teeth pulled, they called my name and opened the door to my son standing there with his mouth bleeding. They didn't say have a good day or act like they cared about my son. I was so upset about their bad patient care that I cried. I will never go here again.

I have never met a more rude customer service receptionist!!! The problem was 100% on their end. I finally got the problem resolved after several days of not being able to get a hold of the dentist office and calling over and over again. I paid my bill in full over the next few months and thought everything was done. I would never deal with them again. I was wrong!! They sent me a small claims court summons. Now I have to waste an hour of my life finding my cancled checks and emailing a lawyer. This is rediculas!! I wish I could give them no stars!! Save yourself a huge hassle and find another dentist!!
