If you're looking for liquor for the weekend I would definitely come to this spot. You can tell that the cashier loves doing his job by his excellent customer service. I've been here a couple of times before and the service is always on point with their recommendations.

***FIRST & LAST TIME*** GREAT selection but poor customer service. 1ST time here and were followed around like we were going to steal something. The guy followed us into the beer cooler acting as if he was pricing beers, following us the whole time. I wipe my ass with your $2.99 single bottle beer. Was going to buy a $200 mariachi bottle..(f**k that!)Hence the fact the beer was flIppin EXPIRED! GTFOH!! Hate people who stereotype, I mean MF you can't even speak English! SORRY "NOT" SORRY

Liquor Land location Long Beach Blvd in city of Long Beach very nice place. Lots of drinks to choose. I like this place I was like wow all kinds of fine wine here and wow was there a big fried of cold drinks here you can walk in this walk in fridge and find cold beverages to choose from and this place has a yummy restaurant in it. Come to this place and enjoy a good drink

They have E-40 wine, Earl Stevens Selections.

Great little liquor shop with a decent selection of wine and other various booze. There's also a deli, but I can't comment on that, as I didn't eat anything. I specifically came or E-40's new wine, Earl Stevens Selections, which they had. If you're unfamiliar with E-40 you're probably old, and that's ok, google him.

Biggest Beer Cave I've EVER seen! Huge selection!

Recently stopped by Beach City Deli & BBQ after seeing recommendations online and decided to order…read morethe Big Kahuna. Honestly, one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. The pineapple added to what's basically a Cuban style sandwich sounds different at first, but it works perfectly. The balance of sweet, savory, crispy, and smoky was spot on. Everything tasted super fresh and the bread held everything together perfectly without getting soggy. My original plan was to eat half and save the rest for later... yeah, that didn't happen. Ended up finishing the whole thing because it was that good. Service was friendly, food came out quick, and the whole spot had a really chill local vibe. Definitely a hidden gem if you're in the area. Highly recommend this place and I'll for sure be back to try more off the menu.

BIRTHDAY MONTH=BIRTHDAY COUPONS=HAPPY RODNEY…read more Free 8 inch cold sandwich for VIP members (6 Way Italian not included) Big Bucky (choice of 3 meats) 6 way Italian is my usual go-to, so it's unfortunate the sandwich is no longer included in the birthday month promo. But, I understand. That particular sandwich is loaded with 6 kinds of meat. The contingency sandwich became the Big Bucky, w/ the choice of 3 meats. Soppressata, mortadella, bacon, extra onions, pickles & tomatoes. A satisfying, filling sub sandwich that made for a pleasurable lunch. A nominal wait, the meat were freshly sliced, and assembling the sandwich with plump & crisp vegetables, it was worth every minute of delay. The cashier was friendly & a pleasure to deal with, too.

This is one of the only Italian restaurants in DTLB. Broadway Pizza and Buono's are pizza places…read morethat are more "Italian restaurant" than you think, but this place is really the only true Italian Restaurant in DTLB. I give it 1 star for the nice owners and family. I give it 1 star for sitting outside on a nice day and enjoying the outside vibe. I give it 1 star for average food. The menu however, has major issues. The bread they use for the garlic bread, the pesto bread, and the pastrami sandwich doesn't hold up. The white part of the bread gets mushy and has a bad texture. That's the case for all hot sandwiches and garlic breads. I recently ordered the chicken parm, and the chicken was cut into small pieces and was burnt. I like my meat cut up in rice dishes such as paella and jambalaya, but cut up chicken parm seems low class and it wasn't great. I also recently ordered the Italian sub. It's a shame you have to pay extra for cheese. IMO, an Italian sub should have both Provolone and Mozzarella cheese. Their sandwich comes with no cheese and is an extra charge. Bummer. Also, they have a variety of Italian-style sandwiches, but none of them have the classic salami, mortadella, and capicola combination which is the authentic combination from my experience. To top it off, the Italian Sub doesn't have red onion or black olives. Meh. There are more menu issues. In the end, there's nothing I find above average. I don't discourage you from going if you're in the mood for a nice Italian meal on the sidewalk outside in nice weather, but there is literally nothing I've found on their large menu that is above average. The menu is flawed in too many ways. At least the family owners seem to be very nice and that goes a long way in deciding who to give my hard earned money to.

My entire food journey started in a Columbia, Maryland food court at The Mall and a grilled Reuben…read moreat the age of 13. Since then the grilled Reuben has been my measuring stick for every restaurant that serves it. It's a must! It shows the attention to detail. It's not a sandwich you can rush. It requires its own time to caramelize and set the flavors up properly. Just like a house made soup, a Grilled Reuben can tell you a lot. And, it just happens to be my favorite sandwich of all time! So. High marks on the store itself. It has a very open air feel, lots of natural lighting, high ceilings and then a hidden court yard behind the shop. It's very clean with lots of colors and art. The music is perfect for the space. The menu is varied and they have both alcoholic drinks and non alcoholic drinks. It's a deli. And they absolutely fill the roll perfectly. And as anyone will tell you, who frequents any deli in the country. What matters is the food. Period. All the niceties mean nothing if the food distant stand up. So... how did they do? Meh. I've had worse. Much worse. I've also had much better. And understand his is my personal opinion. I'm well aware that my comments will not reflect the opinion of everyone. But, the corned beef. They do not cook it in house. It didn't appear to be a brisket although with it being shaved as thinly as it is I don't know if that would help. Brisket corned beer works best when it's nice thick beautiful cuts that break apart and melt in your mouth. But. As you can see in the picture, they don't grill the corned beef but they do pile it pretty darn high. Which is nice. The sauerkraut wasn't grilled. The rye wasn't roasted long enough so the Swiss didn't properly melt and set. Not enough Thousand Island dressing. The rye has the perfect texture and it helps to very nicely. An excellent Jewish rye! The pesto pasta salad was very nice. And it looked as if the other sides were made with an equal amount of attention and love. So high marks there. This is one of those tough reviews because the reality is the atmosphere, the staff and the location are all excellent. The sandwich needs some work. Remember that the Grilled Reuben is the ONLY TRUE American Sandwich. It was created from scratch for the 1942 World's Fair in New York City. It's an original! Treat it with the respect it deserves. And this three star sandwich... of all sandwiches is a hard pass. Sorry. But, if you would ever like to have me come into your restaurant and show you how to serve the best Reuben of your life... just invite me back. I'd love to show you how to make some simple tweaks and turn a meh into a don't miss!

I have a witness who saw me bite into the sandwich, and the hair was wrapped inside the deli meat as it came out. By coincidence, I also have a home security camera that captured the moment. The hair did not come from my head--it had a blonde tone from end to end, unlike my own. You also stated that I received an item for free because it supposedly didn't ring up. That is simply incorrect. My card statement shows that I was charged for both items. I understand that you've been in business for 26 years, and that's commendable. However, every business can make a mistake. What surprised me most wasn't finding the hair--it was your decision to publicly accuse a customer of fabricating the experience instead of acknowledging that errors can happen. My review reflects exactly what happened. Rather than attacking my credibility and integrity a better response would have been to address the issue professionally and focus on making sure it doesn't happen again. Do better.
