It was my first time visiting this business. I was greeted right away by an employee and told that there was wine tasting towards the back of the store. There were five wines to taste: two whites, two reds and Prosecco. The employee was very knowledgeable of the wines and the region they were from. We decided to purchase a bottle of prosecco to take home. I quickly looked around the store a bit and they had a great selection of wines.

When I expresses surprise about no mas-- wearing the salesperson said that since they were vaccinated and young, they were OK. I suggested that during t he greatest pandemic in history it was not only about them, it is as about me too, and every person at her counter and everyone they expose to the virus. They politely said they had strong convictions about the subject and that they wouldn't continue to discuss it. I agreed and wished them good health. I don't think the owners have these convictions since their staff have worn masks in the pas; why not now during the peak of Omicron and local hospitals are full?

They're always super-friendly and helpful, whether you're looking for wine, beer, or a cocktail recipe. This is a very average place…read more The atmosphere isn't terrible (although I expected that it would have a fun dog theme given the name - it didn't) but the food is likely Sysco and just not great. A yelper has commented they liked their version of a French dip so I ordered it - I've never had a cold French dip which is what this was with unmelted cheese. The good news is the server was nice, prices were decent and they're open late (we were seated at 9 pm) and not much else is, so maybe it's ok if you need a late night meal, but I wouldn't plan to go here.
