The new V3 C-Frame is a noticeable improvement in stability over my old V2 C-Frame, especially when at standing height. I will likely buy another smaller desk to use as a mobile workstation that I can wheel around the house too. Uplift also has great customer service! I had a question about the new V3 frame desktop compatibility and Kiara from Uplift customer support was quick to answer my question and help make sure I got what I needed. Many thanks! Shipping was extremely fast as well. I placed my order at 2:30pm on a Thursday and it shipped same-day! As an added bonus, since I live in the same state that Uplift is based in (Texas), my desk was delivered the next day, Friday at 1:50pm. That's less than 24 hours from purchase to delivery! Assembly of the new V3 frame was also a breeze. It took me maybe 2-3 hours to assemble, but I had a few extra accessories to install and I took my time to cable manage everything well. If you were assembling many of these desks at once, or had less accessories to install, I'm sure you could do it in much less time.

Xavier spent a significant amount of time with me, figuring out what had happened with the desk that I ordered. Ultimately we ended up having to replace the desk top. This is one of the worst things that can end up happening with a standing desk, but Xavier personally walked me through what the options were and ended up getting a replacement shipped. Above and beyond that, he also walked me through specific care instructions to follow for the desk into the future, and even chatted with me a bit about custom keyboards after he noticed that I used a custom keyboard in the photos that I shared with him. Xavier single handedly made sure that I will stay an UPLIFT customer and promoter into the future.

Or I want to become a bird trainer so I can make parrots and african grays mimick the sound of this fantastic word. OK enough about the darn name. The folks that work here are just darn nice. Last time I was in here they only sold the paper I needed for laser printers but they are so helpful and honest if they don't know the answer to your question. Think all shapes and sizes of paper (not really shapes, they pretty much stick to the rectangle but lots of bulk paper). Long story short after several attempts trying paper- they let me return it even though I had used a few sheets to test it. Their prices are great and they have good ole Texas sized customer service. Soo... back to the name... I asked them where it came from (because I'm a curious girl and all). They kind of collectively scratched their heads and then we all decided it was a play on the words "Fast Clamp It!" That's what you do with lots of paper- you clamp it together, right? Oh well. We all had a good ole hillbilly/blonde moment.

    Here's how the story goes...I was sleeping on a leaky air mattress for a couple months this summer…read moreand it got to the point where I couldn't handle it anymore. I had been keeping an eye out for mattresses, but there were none within my budget. I mentioned it to a guy at work and he told me that they have mattresses at Aaron's, so, being desperate, I decided to check it out. They had exactly what I needed, but at another location...so I went for it anyway, without trying them. If you've ever slept on a leaky air mattress, you understand my desperation. As I've said before, it was a little bit more expensive, but I don't mind paying for the convenience of making payments. You have to put your first payment down up front. They have a 90 day same as cash policy, so I made sure to get it paid off before they started ripping me off. The staff was incredibly friendly, although a bit pushy...really, really pushy when I went in to make my final payment. They kept trying to sell me stuff like plasma tvs, computers, couches, etc. The payment process is really simple, too. You can either mail them in or drop by the store. I think that if you call ahead that you're going to be dropping by, they will stay open just that little bit longer. Such a convenience in today's crazy world! They also deliver for free. This was tedious for me, though, because they were scheduled to show up at my house between 4pm and 8pm on a Thursday, but they didn't show up until 9:15 or so. I called the store a couple times and they said that the guys didn't have a work phone, so he couldn't contact them. When they finally showed up, though, I could hear them talking on a Nextel type phone that they were headed back to HQ after my delivery. They guy at the store had lied! I hope to never have to do business with them, but I'd consider it in a complete and utter bind!

They are doing a promo where if you rent in April there would be no payment until May. I have just moved into an apartment and was looking for a washer / dryer. Well, let's just say that the customer service in this store does not exist. I walked in and there was one person on a phone and there was at least one other person in an office right behind the front desk. That person wasn't on the phone and was doing something at a computer. I walk over to the washers and dryers and was wanting to get more information. I thought that when the person got off the phone, they would come over to talk to me. Boy was I wrong. She got off the phone and then turned to the other person and made comments about the person on the phone and then moved on to some other task. I know that she saw me when we walked in because she did look up to see who was in the door. Never once did I get anyone to actually acknowledge me or offer to help - until I started to walk out of the store. Then all of a sudden everyone wanted to help me. Too little and too late. I know that rent to own is not always the way to go but I was more than ready to sign an application that day and schedule a delivery. This one store has definitely changed my mind about Aarons and doing business with them. I guess that it is true that customer service is dying
