I've been here too many times to count. The Green Machine smoothie bowl is by far my favorite. They serve fresh pressed juices, smoothies, acai bowls and soups. I loved this place so much, but the two most recent times I visited Liquid Nirvana in Glastonbury I was extremely dissatisfied with the way the bowl tasted. I'm not sure if they changed the recipe, but it was very thick, with no banana slices on top and did not taste as good as it used to. They did not offer to make it right which was the most disappointing part. read more

This place is usually amazing when I go there during the week. It tends to be more crowded during the weekends though. It's a great place to go to get amazing smoothie bowls and drinks; and on top of that they let you modify the recipes a little bit to fit to your liking if you just ask! The only problem I have with this place is that they are not always true to their hours. On every social media website, it clearly claims that their store closes at 7pm. On more than 4 occasions I have arrived there around 6:15/6:20pm and they were closed for the day. It's honestly quite annoying as a loyal customer to experience that. If they weren't going to be opened at that time on more than a handful of times I recommend they change their hours. read more

So an update, I was contacted by the owner who has indicated that they use natural plain yogurt and no sugars, honey, sweeteners or syrups are added unless requested. I have not had a chance to go back into the store but believe it is worth mentioning their efforts to address the issues encountered. I would give them another try. read more

What a great place! I have been going on Sundays to get acai bowls now for a few weeks (I don't live in Glastonbury, but I make the trip from West Hartford!) and they are more than worth it. The ingredients are fresh and the flavor options and combinations are great. I love the PB&J bowl! The atmosphere is warm and bright and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I LOVE acai bowls and was ecstatic to find a place in the area that finally offers a good one! They have lots of gluten free granola options for the bowls and they are reasonably priced. I also enjoyed their juices... I purchased a 1 day juice cleanse and was very happy with all the juices (they offer to switch out certain fruits or vegetables if you have any dislikes on the existing menu). Such a great first time coming here that I had to post. So I come in the door and a girl working there is singing to the radio playing "Hips Don't Lie" by Shakira so I am already smiling. The guy behind the register is extra patient with me because I have never been there before and had to look over their many options. Got a chocolate peanut butter shake with protein powder in it made with coconut milk... And they actually had the option of a shot of Bee Pollen! So you know I had to get it. When asking if the granola was vegan, they literally told me they couldn't tell me, then someone quickly flashed a bag of "Kind" granola above the counter (not vegan). Then, another employee scolded them for showing me. The fact that they covered the glass plus this incident tells me of their dishonesty in recipes and quality. This place is dishonest, overpriced, and the employees are rude. The owner is worse, not letting anyone take pictures of their menu (sloppy anyways) + all the other critical signs around the store. It just generally makes me uncomfortable to support a place like this let alone be inside. read more

The acai bowl I had was good. However, it could have been a lot better if most of the ingredients were not blended in. Says it has blueberries but I couldn't tell if it actually did have blueberries in the bowl because it was a very fine blend. A little more granola wouldn't hurt either. read more

Well. My four star is now a two. Today, my smoothie was so chunky. It's hard to explain, but I was getting half mashed pieces of fruit in my straw! Even got a piece of spinach. Usually, the smoothie is blended enough, but this time i blended it more when I got home by myself. I understand when I went the place was busy, but for 6+ dollars, I expect good quality! The people are super nice don't get me wrong- just the smoothie was just not enjoyable. Again, the Avon one is the BEST but I live to far to travel all the time. Glastonbury, maybe get some tips from Avon in smoothie making :). I'm sure I will be back, just had to share my experience today. read more

I literally had to wait 45 minutes, in the store for a panini and a smoothie. How is this even possible? Yes, there were a steady stream of customers, but other who did not call in orders either received their orders first. With two people working behind the counter. Update of review: I'm happy to say the owner did take the time to respond to my concerns. Apparently the air conditioning was broken and the owner of the building put in temporary air conditioning until the main one is repaired. Being a new business they are still going through some learning curves and may have missed an ingredient on my order. I have updated my rating based on the Owners prompt response. read more

Great juice bar that has everything you could want and more...who knew you could juice a sweet potato? My only complaint is that I would like to be able to watch them make my juice. For the price it costs to drink fresh juice, the experience of watching it being made should be included. read more

customer service is terrible. i walked in and waited to order for 10 minutes. the two girls working kept looking at me and going about without taking my order. when one girl finally took my order she was very rude. i waited about another 10-15 minutes while they were making it. this place needs more than two people working. this has happened to me multiple times now. they have good stuff, but it takes so long to order and wait for it to be made. if you want something fast do not go here. read more

This is an amazing local business. I had never been a "juicer" or cleanser. I have been on their cleanse and it is excellent. They make something that is difficult to implement, very easy. The juices are delicious with a balance of sweet and tart. My daughter loves their Nutella Smoothie. The cost is worth it because it is so incredibly fresh!!! And the cost is no worse than Starbucks.
