I scheduled my hair and makeup trial and booked my wedding day at the same time. I feel that their pricing was explained very well to me right from the start. They go over their contract, expectations, etc. I was happy that they came onsite to my home for the trial, as well as my hotel for the day of the event. We communicated mostly via email and text, which worked great for me. The ladies nailed my hair and makeup trial that I didn't even want to make changes for the wedding. ( The only change was I brought my own lip stick) I had 4 ladies getting hair and 5 getting makeup. There was one person for our hair and one for the makeup, which worked great. I was able to pay for services by card and tipped the ladies' day of in cash. Friendly ladies and my hair and makeup lasted all night! Definitely call them for your bridal hair and makeup needs.

However, when booking the services for our actual wedding, the experience with Carrie was awful. They wanted to charge me for the "south asian" package which included services I did not need (e.g. dupatta draping when I was going to be wearing a veil), airbrush makeup (which was not part of the trial at all, nor did I want). Despite multiple attempts to clarify that all I wanted was the simple makeup and hair package, Carrie would not budge - so I went with another company instead and 100% no regrets. They basically made it quite clear that because of my race - NOT the services I was requesting - they would be charging me more. Very disappointing. UPDATE: All I wanted was the platinum package, not the celebrity or the South Asian package. The platinum package covered the services I needed and the level of stylist I had my trial with. While a bargain is great, I'd never ever cheat someone to get it (especially if its someone's way of making a living - paying ppl for their work matters!) nor do I appreciate the implication that I would. Trying to bully a client into paying their hard earned money for services they don't want is a big red flag. Carrie's response speaks for itself - some companies are willing to do better but doesn't seem like this is one of those. Just know that's what your getting into and godspeed my friend

I'm not a girlie girl and fell down the rabbit hold of using social media for skincare advice. First, I got a mini facial which was so relaxing. Wendy asked me what kind of products I was using and filled me in on what was and wasn't good for my skin. The bed was heated and I really enjoyed it. My skin was dry and the products she used really moisturized it and plumped it up (in a good way). After that, we went through my makeup stash. There was no judgement. She asked what I hoped to get out of using that product and why it was good (or not) for my skin. I had her teach me how to apply my makeup (see the comment above about not being a girlie girl). I don't like to spend lots of time on that, so I told her, and she gave me the short version of what to do. Overall, it was a great, relaxing, and informative experience and I will be returning. Thanks Wendy!
