The spa was super clean and beautiful. I felt well informed and taken care of. I got the IPL Photofacial yesterdayand this was first experience getting one. I look CRAZY right now but I'm really excited to see what my results will be. As a groupon customer, im always nervous that there will be pressure to invest more money in other products or services, but that wasn't the case here. Because that pressure wasn't put on me in any way, it makes me trust them even more and want to come back for other services. Since my sister who was an aesthetician "Retired" I have seen 1 Dr. & 1 Certified Injector. When 1 of my sisters came to town & I referred her to the Dr. I was seeing. They were booked & referred her to you LIP Med Spa. I was noticing how my own Dr. did not "seem" to accomplish what I requested, it was always a little shy of my wrinkles disappearing so I walked out & kept coming back for 2 months until I caught on. I've been moving & doing yard work that I have never done before in my life because I've never had my own home. My eye brows are over grown, my fingernails & toe nails are broken!! I'm exhausted, over worked & stressed out, putting myself out for everyone else, working so hard I just wanted to stop in & see if you could help me with a few issues. I was shocked that I was basically "refused" filler & was advised I had more of a texture "issue". I explained the area we were addressing was that way because of an "injectable" Ann Webb did that I was allergic to. I patiently listened to the nice young girl who explained her "monthly" membership fee's & all the services which seemed like a good deal & walked away going wow. I even explained that my Plastic Surgeon: Dr. Cameron Craven (best face surgeon ever btw) injected Filler in that area when he did my FC to smooth out the area. You said you didn't want to give me a square jaw.?!? What? What kind of injections are talking about?? Seriously you obviously had issue with making me feel good about me that day. I've been going to Dr Legere for Botox for a few years and love her! But there's nothing I hate more than bait and switch, which I had with Josh. They were offering a "free duel sculpting treatment" on Facebook so I called to book after confirming it was in fact free. I went in today and he tried to charge me $3100. That's not free. That's not even close to free. I'll consider continuing to get my Botox here but anything else will be a hard pass. read more

I gave Lip Med Spa a great review several years ago, but because my last experience was so negative I thought I should update. At my last visit, I was there for a 'buy 2 Volumna, get one Juvederm free'. During the appointment, Dr. Legere said that I didn't need the Juvederm (I am, however, 61 and don't go very often so I probably could have used it). I trusted her judgement and went without thinking that Lip Med Spa would hold it for me like similar spa's do. I left the office and while driving home, I received a call from the receptionist/assistant (not the doctor) telling me that the Juvederm was only for that appointment and therefore I lost the Juvederm (an equivalent of about $700) read more

(-1 Star) Price transparency - I called prior and was quoted that chemical peels are $50 with any major treatment (I was having 2 major treatments) when I went to check out they charged me $279 for the peel. I was never told the peel I was getting was "upgraded". (-1 Star) I had to wash my own face in the bathroom before my chemical peel. Never before have I had to to that for any type of facial treatment. I could've ordered the VI peel online for $100 and saved $150 if I just wanted it applied to my face with no spa perks. On a positive note - The Doc was very friendly and explained things perfectly. I had my lips, botox, and chemical peel. My lips turned out great. A little smaller than I prefer but the shape is wonderful. You can really tell she knows what she is doing. My botox is fine. Overall my treatment wasn't horrible but I probably won't go back considering I spent $1100 and had to wash my own face. (This May be fine with others) I would recommend this spa for Injectables. read more

I am almost 42 and frequently get told I don't look my age, and I feel I owe that in large part to Claudia and her careful, natural aesthetic. I've seen Claudia for botox and filler and in both respects she was fantastic. She truly works with you to help you get the service and the result that is right for you, within your budget, and she follows up to make sure you are happy. You can tell she really cares about patient satisfaction on a personal level. Its also really nice because most aesthetic offices you end up dealing with receptionists or office staff which isn't necessarily bad but it feels more impersonal and rushed; here you end up just working with Dr. Legere. Also, she uses a topical numbing cream which numbs better than anyplace else I've ever gone...I usually am nervous about filler but I could hardly feel it here! My two-week healing mark is tomorrow, but I couldn't wait! Blaise, PA-C did such an amazing job on my lips. It was my first time getting lip injections and being the curious and concerned patient I am, I was quite nervous coming in, but man, am I grateful for Lip Med Spa! Abby (front desk team) did a wonderful job answering my questions on the phone and honored Groupon pricing--thank you, Abby! Day of, Dr. Legere and Blaise welcomed me into their office and I filled some paperwork out. Blaise sat down with me and asked me some questions about what I wanted, and oh ladies and gentlemen, she sure did deliver!! Blaise was very transparent on expectations of a first filler and also on after-care. I did experience some small, lentil-sized lumps 3 days after the procedure, but I followed Blaise's instructions and got those lumps taken care of. I started out as a client at LIP Med Spa a little over a year ago. I required help with skin texture and age spots and some sagging below my eyes and in the area around my mouth. I was 48 years old that time. In the last year we have used Juverderm Voluma to treat the sagging and also IPL laser treatments to treat the overall condition of the skin on my face. The corrections we have made were a significant improvement immediately. And I do get a few units of botox in my upper lip to give it a little lift and that works out great also. I have had a stressful year and lost weight so when I go in to do my quarterly IPL Laser treatment we talk about the ongoing changes with my weight loss and what would be prudent to address any issues occuring due to that. Dr. Legere is efficient and friendly and appreciates my prompt, practical and direct nature. I have never felt that a treatment has been pushed on me and often she will suggest to let things level out and see where we are at the next visit. But if I feel I need something additional she is very accommodating about going ahead and taking care of it during my current appointment if it is something quick like a fillable that won't impact putting behind the next client's schedule. I appreciate the personalized services I receive because everyone is different and what works for me isn't necessarily going to be helpful for another client. I like that the doctor gives personalized services and attention. For fun I took advantage of a holiday special over Christmas and got some Juvederm Ultra in my upper lip. We went a bit light on it and it gave me a lovely natural look. I went back in early March for my IPL laser treatment and we did several units of botox on my upper lip and I am happy with the results. It is now a maintenance type of treatment plan and we are a year out from initial treatment. I have felt and looked very well and continuously improving without going overboard and loosing the natural look that is me. People never suspect fillers they just think I look 'healthier and fresher' in describing my youthful appearance. And that is the most important thing. I want to treat the overall health of my skin not just get injectables. I have seen that and it looks 'obvious' because the condition of their skin is left untreated. The do not treat you like that at this office. They do appreciate that the clients satisfaction and overall improvement of their skin health and appearance is the best advertising and it benefits the client the most as well. read more

I chose LIP Med Spa for Coolsculpting, and am delighted that I did so. To me, amenities are great (and they ARE great at LIP), but RESULTS are what matter most if I'm going to invest in a procedure. Coolsculpting providers are not equal, nor are the results that they bring about. My significant other paid top-dollar and underwent a Coolsculpting series at the large "upscale" multi-location Austin-area dermatology clinic, where I witnessed the treatments.
