He was screaming and stomping his feet while picking up a scalpel. I just laid there crying, terrified, but too drugged to do anything. No patient should ever be put through this type of trauma while in surgery. To make matters worse, his girlfriend...who also assists him , reeked of cigarette smoke which made me nauseous throughout the whole surgery. She even shared disturbing stories with me about the doctor and her romance over the years. Details that should never be shared with a patient. I was surrounded by chaos and tension instead of professionalism. He refused to even refund my money after leaving me botched and disfigured. it's embarrassing to be in public. This wasn't just bad results...it was reckless, dangerous, and traumatizing. No one deserves what happened to me. People need to know the truth before they make the same mistake.

I'm a recent football mom so I spend lots of time outdoors. I *just recently* started wearing sunscreen, using a hat, and using an umbrella but the skin damage is already done. Irene was great and she took her time to help me relax and enjoy the experience. She would do this thing where she'd tap my shoulders first, and then apply lotions to my face to get me prepped for the facial. No verbal cues, just the touch. My eyes were closed most of the time so this was such a smart way to give me notice that she was going to touch my face. I wasn't ever shocked or taken aback by this sudden pressure. The procedure itself took an hour because Irene was training with an instructor and about 4 other employees were sitting in on the service. I have no issues with being a test subject. Every professional has to start somewhere and I'm glad to take part of their journey. Their instructor asked if I had any concerns and I mentioned to her that the tops of my cheeks were irritated (probably due to the changing weather). Irene made sure to avoid those areas when applying the salicylic acid. But everywhere else on my face was free game. Here's what was so special about this service. I've had facials before and I sometimes have to brace myself for pain when their instruments get closer to my nose or mouth areas. Due to the hydrafacial technology, I never once had even a small prick of pain. The machine makes loud noises but once I mentally figured out how to block it out, the rest of the treatment was smooth sailing. I don't know which boosters Irene used on me. All I know is that my skin was getting a big drink of water every time she placed the instrument against my face. It was like a very gentle sucking feeling which was surprisingly so pleasant. After Irene rendered the service she handed me a mirror and me oh my,, I felt like a brand new person. I almost didn't recognize myself. My face looked so clean, bright and youthful. My complexion looked so much more even and my pores were noticeably smaller. When my 9yo daughter saw me later that day she said I looked so different but she couldn't pinpoint what it was. I couldn't tell her it was from a hydrafacial. She's such a girly girl, she most likely would ask me to take her to get one too :/ I went to an event 2 nights later and when I applied my makeup I swear my powder looked airbrushed on. My face looked so smooth. My only regret is that I wish I asked Irene to show me what she removed from my skin.
