I've only been to Baird Park when I was very young. The only thing I remember was it was very windy…read moreand we didn't stay long. Flash forwarding to now, I didn't expect it to be this big. For me, the main intent we visited was the trails. We didn't end up doing all of them in one visit. All I'll say is, the other trails are much longer, the red trail. The trail we took was the second-longest, the blue route. The green route is in fact the shortest, but that's found within the red trail (I have a photo of the map). On our walk, it was very leafy and slippery in some areas, something to watch out for. Taking baby steps in areas helped. I was a bit surprised to see a lot of fallen trees and the majority of them were covering the path. Personally, it would be nice to get that situated and cleared off. We managed to get through though. You're not going to get at the greatest view in the world but on some uphills, you'll be able to see across the river. If anyone has a heart for nature, the walk is quite enjoyable.

It is fun and challenging, not to mention very nicely maintained and an absolute bargain. If you play the blues it's still pretty tough for an average golfer (#3 plays ~200 yards for a par 3, for example). The namesake hill on #8 is downright nasty, and you have zero chance of getting on the green in 1 no matter how big a hitter you are so you have to lay up at the bottom of the hill and then rocket one up there to have a chance. The location is pretty awesome as it's between Tarrytown and Croton. And it's over 10K square feet in size! The space is huge! Where do I begin? How about by saying there are 43 TVs and 8 projectors. For sports, golf, and anything else you can imagine. There are 6 big golfing bays with state of the art technology that amplifies every swing you take. There are cameras on both sides of the walls in each golf bay to show you your swing so you're improving as you play. Each golf bay comfortably hosts 4-8 people. The golf simulators are state of the art. I've never been to a golf simulator like this and I've been to many from Top Golf to simulators at golf pro shops. The simulators have 400+ courses you can play on. You can also choose to hit at a driving range, play at miniature golf courses, play in longest drive contests, closest to the pin, and more gaming formats. The VIP room is very impressive. We will without a doubt be renting it out for golfing with friends but also to watch sports events on the big screen! You can use the clubs provided by 19th hole or you can bring your own.
