I play this course often. The layout is challenging for a player of my caliber (20 handicap, from the whites.) Greens have gotten much faster, due to a new Course Superintendent, who also vastly improved the irrigation system. Clubhouse is well managed. The golf pros are great players and teachers. The star of this golf course is Bert. He is the glue that holds the course together (range, carts, practice green.) Great guy. read more

For the price go anywhere else. Cart fees are outrageous. Daylight until 9pm and they kicked us off the course at 8pm on the dot. Staff in the club house big thumbs down as well. Unfortunate. read more

For a novice golfer that only hits the fairway occasionally, Yesterdays tournament was was terrible! I get that mowers can break down but how about renting one from Grassland or Kiel (United Ag & Turf!!!) Not sure who you utilize for parts or repair but these 2 companies will definitely work with you on loaners or rentals!! We spent more time looking for our balls then golfing! Its a given that ill loose 2/3 balls a round but not 9 as I did yesterday! Course condition is ok. Some tee boxes are slanted or crowned. The price for 18 with a cart and range balls is $105 on the weekend. Pretty steep for the ease of this course. This should be a $85 round on the weekend. No rangers in sight and the round took 4:45. Greens rolled well and were firm. Restaurant that is on premises is good for a bite to eat. This is one of our favorites in the area. Really a great course with nice people. The course is never crowded and no matter how you play, a cold beer waits for you only steps from the 18th green. You will probably find me there. No huge elevation but a fantastic par 3 over a ravine and a fishook dogleg par 5 with a fun risk/reward for the long hitter. Good pace of play, wasn't too crowded, never felt slow (pet peeve). Some really long holes and risk/reward dog legs. A rhinebeck treasure. Just outside of town. Took my dad here for a nice fathers days lunch and was expecting a great meal. Ordered a Turkey sandwich toasted. For the price of a 13$ sandwich, one would expect a great sandwich. Instead I got a non toasted sandwich with one slice of Turkey, one tomato and one piece of lettuce. BIG disappointment and the pasta salad wasn't even worth eating :/ honestly you could make a homemade Turkey sandwich at home better and save the money and disappointment:/ server was sweet though!!! read more

A nice course worth playing but never buy their winter "deal" which is purposely deceiving. They offered 3 rounds for $90 if you bought one of their left over shirts or spent over $50 on left over pro shop items. We all know pro shop stuff is double or more than if you buy the item else where. Also buying things in November at a pro shop the picking is slim. Well it still seemed like a good deal. My golf partner and I each bought one. When we went to use them they didn't count the carts in the deal, which are $22 each round for each person. So the price is now up to $52 plus the cost of the pro shop buy. So if you cut the $50 to say $21 realistically divided by 3, the golf is now, at $59. Meanwhile that is more than if you play anytime during the week ($54) with cart or on Wednesday's $45 with cart. I often buy during the winter at other places and this is the only place that rips people off. After I use them we will probably play there only once a year after that whereas we usually played there 4 or 5 times. read more

Four stars, according to Yelp means, "Yay! I'm a fan." I played this course yesterday and it was in great shape. Some holes had challenging pin placement and narrow fairways to keep the more veteran golfer's interest piqued, but even an amateur can enjoy a number of open fairways and the truly beautiful scenery. The staff, with what little interaction I did have, was kind and helpful. (As a side note, and this does not affect my rating, Google Maps had me mistakingly turn into a private drive which did look like a possible entrance to the golf club, and I was instantly stopped and reamed by a local, being told to "turn around and never drive through here again." Mind you, no signs were posted and there was no privacy gate, and even after explaining my story about the GPS directions, he was still rude. The local man with whom I golfed said that a lot of the locals were real asses!) There were some kids on the range who were being a little loud and disrespectful, and someone from the pro shop came to give them a warning, so it appears they keep the quality of everyone's experience positive. It would have been nice to have seen a marshall or beverage cart sometime during my round, but the course was well maintained and game play kept at a wonderful pace. read more
