Sometimes tough to see but you know what they say about a picture worth a thousand words. Hint: when being videotaped be sure your grip is spot on. After 5 years of playing golf and struggling with my game, Susan helped me "unlock my swing", which enabled me to improve my drives, fairway game, chip shots and putting! The school includes range practice, video analysis and on-course play, which I really found beneficial. In addition to being a great pro, Sue is a wonderful person - very friendly and easy to work with. Her rates are very reasonable. The registration process is a bit cumbersome, but they will get back to you once you email them. I think this is one of the best schools I've ever been to. I wish I'd met Sue sooner. I highly recommend attending her golf school - you won't regret it!

Four stars, according to Yelp means, "Yay! I'm a fan."…read more I played this course yesterday and it was in great shape. Some holes had challenging pin placement and narrow fairways to keep the more veteran golfer's interest piqued, but even an amateur can enjoy a number of open fairways and the truly beautiful scenery. The staff, with what little interaction I did have, was kind and helpful. (As a side note, and this does not affect my rating, Google Maps had me mistakingly turn into a private drive which did look like a possible entrance to the golf club, and I was instantly stopped and reamed by a local, being told to "turn around and never drive through here again." Mind you, no signs were posted and there was no privacy gate, and even after explaining my story about the GPS directions, he was still rude. The local man with whom I golfed said that a lot of the locals were real asses!) There were some kids on the range who were being a little loud and disrespectful, and someone from the pro shop came to give them a warning, so it appears they keep the quality of everyone's experience positive. It would have been nice to have seen a marshall or beverage cart sometime during my round, but the course was well maintained and game play kept at a wonderful pace.

I play this course often. The layout is challenging for a player of my caliber (20 handicap, from…read morethe whites.) Greens have gotten much faster, due to a new Course Superintendent, who also vastly improved the irrigation system. Clubhouse is well managed. The golf pros are great players and teachers. The star of this golf course is Bert. He is the glue that holds the course together (range, carts, practice green.) Great guy.

I've patronized a few Play It Again Sports in two other areas of the country, and I can say without…read morereservation this is both the biggest/best stocked store I've been in, and they had the best staff of any PIAS I've been to. They are loaded for bear right now with winter stock - vast arrays of skates, hockey gear, skis, snowboards, and accessories. They tend at this location to stock ONLY what is demanded for the season, so if you're selling something from an off-season or are looking for a bargain tennis racket in November, you will be disappointed. They do full-season rentals on equipment, which seems to me like a great way to wade into a new sport. Their buyback scheme is as follows: when you bring a used item in, they will price it. If you leave it on consignment to sell, you will get 50% of the price, when it sells. If you want to take trade-in credit right away, you get 40% of the value. If you want to get cash on the nose right away, you get 30% of the value. I looked at the range of conditions and availability for skates (which we were shopping for today) and the price range seemed quite decent for what they had. I waited for our skates to be sharpened, and observed them helping some skiing and snowboarding customers and handling a buy-back transaction, and they seemed very thorough, professional, and knowledgeable. The used prices aren't ultrabargains, but it's difficult to really find a specialty store that deals with used goods. You have your thrift stores, used car dealers, and other than that you're left with Craigslist and garage sales for the most part. So I think this is a pretty good niche, and for the ever-growing and changing-of-interest kids, a great great resource. They'll have to wow me on repeat visits for me to get up to the lofty five stars, but a promising four stars for now.

As mentioned by a bunch of other reviews, the service is really atrocious. Three young kids sitting…read morearound physically and audibly bothered that I walked into the store. I actually got to start the day playing golf with my brothers-in-law and had a great time. I hadn't played much this year...played well for about 13 holes then the wheels came off and I started spraying the ball all over the place...still a fun day though. Can be a very tough course and the greens are unforgiving on bad shots and bad reads. After golf, we showered and got ready at the club while the wives got their mother to the club. It's been a very long time since I've been up here at Wiltwyck and having a couple drinks after our round help take the edge off a bit. Such a beautiful view of the course from the bar-though it tends to remind me of how little time we seem to have for ourselves these days. Anyway, once people started showing up we started with some drinks (or MORE drinks for me) and passed hors d'oeuvers before sitting down to an amazing buffet that included salmon, a carving table with tenderloin, roasted chicken, pasta, salads, veggies, etc. If there's one thing I've never questioned in all the times I've eaten at this club it's the food- it's always top notch. My wife and I actually had our wedding reception her a "few" years back and they really do a great job at formal, semi-formal, and just regular daily events. They hit the ball out of the park on our wedding night and they did it again when we were there for the party recently. You won't generally get anything TOO fancy at a buffet type of dinner like we had, but there have been times when, for dinner, the chef will get creative and when he does, you're taste buds are in for a treat. In a nutshell...Great golf, great food, great service, and great times...wish I lived closer and had enough extra time and $$ to be members here.

We ran into this place and stopped by. Staff: The staff was so nice to us! Very helpful Prices: The prices were great. Honestly back home in Westchester, the deal here would cost like at least $30 per person. So don't even complain about the prices. We ended up paying around $28 total for the two of us, which included minigolf and go karts. Minigolf: Super fun!!! Don't expect a movie type minigolf course with a giant waterfall and what not. The mini golf course is kinda simple, however still so much fun.We didn't originally expect much out of it and ended up laughing and just fooling around. Life is what you make of it. The small hills are still pretty tricky, or maybe I'm just awful at minigolf. Go Karts: Pretty fast to be honest. I expected them to be way slower originally. Super fun though!

The go carts are a standout and lots of fun for children and adults that still think they are children (like myself).
