You still get random families with wild kids (sometimes wild adults lol) but you just live with it. They have string pins now. Compared to a few other string pins I've bowled on, these are pretty well tuned. They care about bowling here, which is nice. I appreciate that they allow you to reset the pins yourself on the lane, saves everyone time. Still my favorite house to bowl at in the area.

It was easy to find during the afternoon but I can see how some people can get lost here at night since the area is very dark with no street lights. The entrance was very an unassuming so my first impression was just meh. The courtyard where the cocktail and hors d'oeuvres were held was just plain. The food was good though. Very tasty. Then we were moved to the reception hall. Wow. They did a great job decorating the place! I know the wedding was small but the location was perfect for it. The food was delicious as well!

This place and venue is without a shadow of a doubt one of the most beautiful escapes I have ever…read morebeen to for a wedding. In early December one of my former coworkers held his wedding here along the Hudson Valley line area. . . . excuse me . . . . but I'm not familiar with anything in New York outside of the city. But MAN is it gorgeous out here. There was a castle on a hilltop in the distance! Small mountains or very big hills surrounding sweeping planes of golf course green. The back area had a fire pit and seating while inside there were epic chandeliers, toasty fireplaces, and long tables set up along the sides with a large dance hall area for the middle in a giant hall. The actual wedding took place in a greenhouse like atrium attached and covered outside. Seriously, gorgeous building and location for any special occasion or wedding. The service was impeccable. Waiters came by for the toasting hour before dinner with little appetizers and canapes. There was some kind of delicious mapley fatty bacon in there somewhere that was awesome. So why four stars and not five? Man, those bartenders, even though they are very generous and sweet as can be, cannot pour a good drink. I switched from wine because I wasn't a fan of it to quickly an old fashioned which tasted incredibly off. I think because it was a more classic style. But then later I experimented with trying a Manhattan cocktail after I saw my friend with it and that was even worse. Finally, resolved to sticking to well liquor and a simple mixer and everything was fine after that. The food was meh. The salad course was actually my favorite part. I'm not sure if they make the food on premises though or if there is a catering deal of sorts. But we had an arugula salad with a lemon vinaigrette and shaved pecorino romano and it was AWESOME. So flavorful and simple and refreshing. For my entree the choices were either diver sea scallops or New York Strip Steak. Easy choice. Steak, duh. It was served with garrison seasonal farm vegetables and parmesan risotto in a red wine jus. The sauce was interesting - good I think but weird. The meat was really tough. It was cooked okay but it was just a super poor cut of meat with a lot of fat grizzle and just hard to chew and enjoy. That was the main focal point of the meal though and I was pretty dismayed. Also heard from other people at the wedding that the scallops were just as bad. Very tiny portion and it had a funky off taste to them. Great location, stunning and in every sense beautiful beyond words. Food and drinks - very meh. Solid Four stars.

I had my daughter's baby shower here last week. I'll never have another event here. Here are the…read morereasons why: #1. The chef insisted on meeting to discuss the menu and details of my event. I drove 1/2 half an hour only to be told the Chef had an emergency and had to leave. No one called my cell phone to let me know. #2. I walked through with the event person 2 weeks before and told her I wanted 5 tables of six. I also told her I'm working on weekends and can't be reached. She called me on the Saturday before my event to discuss pricing. Of course I didn't get her message until late. #3 Tables were set up 4 tables of 8 which messed up my seating plan. Dishes and glasses were dirty. I mean DIRTY with dried food, and sticky dirt on things. Embarrassing! #4 I was charged the highest price option and not told about a 3.00 per person non member fee. #5. No dedicated wait staff. The one waitress was responsible for my party, as well as the bar and pool area. She was great but not enough service for my party. #5 No organization in the parking lot. Nasty members yelled at guests for parking in "wrong" areas. One man actually cursed and followed my nieces to the building.

Pros: - With 80,000 sq. ft. of entertainment, there is so much to do for kids of all ages - toddler play area, trampolines, rock climbing, ninja warrior courses, dodgeball, slam-dunk basketball, arcade games, and vast playgrounds. Took my 5-year-old daughter and her friends and they didn't want to leave after 3.5 hours. - The carpet and some of the finishes glow in the dark, so in the evening time they turn off the lights for a fun afterparty experience - Plenty of comfortable seating for the adults Cons: - During our time, the septic tanks broke, resulting in a terrible smell by the back bathrooms. They had to leave a door open to relieve the odor so it was freezing by the toddler area. What was most frustrating was that nothing was announced or clarified over the speaker system and we had to ask around on what to do. My husband had to drive to BJs because he could not hold it anymore. - If they make the kids wear socks, they should enforce it on the adults as well to keep the germs out. Can't wait to come back!

The bistro has a cute exterior offering a few outdoor seats and a minimal but stylish interior and is perfect if you want to stay and chill or get your food to go. This isn't Subway so the sandwiches are priced above $10, but considering the quality and quantity (and maybe because I'm just acclimated to paying ridiculous prices in the City) you definitely get your money's worth. I heartily enjoyed the sliced hanger steak sandwich and found the mix of horseradish mayo, sautéed mushrooms, and arugula on a toasted ciabatta to be perfection. I also tried the fried chicken sandwich which was well seasoned and made all that much better with the sriracha mayo and pickles! I will be back for certain to explore the rest of the sandwich and salad options, especially the capers and oyster mushroom sandwiches and roasted beet and goat cheese salads. They also offer baked goods from Newburgh Flower Shop down the block as well as a variety of coffee and tea drinks. If you get pickup, call the restaurant directly because the prices through Doordash are higher to compensate for the fees the restaurant has to pay. Good to have Toasted on the Liberty Street scene!

The bread was sturdy and crusty and crunchy on the outside. The oyster mushrooms were accompanied with a lovely spicy aioli and pickles. Even though it may a cost a little more than a sandwich from a national chain, the food is made with lots of care with fresh ingredients and the portion is enough for two lunches (at least for me). It was a little messy so I was glad I was outside to enjoy it. It's a small space inside (perhaps 5 square table for 2 each) and it's almost kitty corner to my favorite shop, Oliver & Chatfield. Since it's a little further down on Liberty street, you'll find plenty of street parking.
