As a particularly reluctant technophobe, I went to the Interlink Net Cafe for a long time when I moved to Clontarf, before I got my beloved laptop.
Aoife R. has it spot on, (I really hope that Aoife does not mind me saying that Anton is not from Poland, but indeed from Eastern Europe, either Slovenia, or Slovakia, I shall find out), I will put a few pics up soon!!!
This net cafe is meticulously laid out, like a 'home from home' office, if you like, tea/coffee, soft drinks, light refreshments, and everything for your computer, that ' lil ol me' has great trouble in comprehending! But Anton is such a helpful person, and well known for it, for anyone who frequents this net cafe. Helped me with my emails, my googling, my music to my I pod, my travel arrangements online, (oh god, am I hopeless with all this technology, oh yes I am), and how do I put my pic up please, for Yelp, Anton?
Unlike many of the net cafes in the city centre, it is spotlessly clean at all times, everywhere, the computers, the work surfaces, the floor, the furniture, the loo. The people at Linked take great pride in their place, and it shows.
I still go in when I need help, and the place is as efficiently run as ever. 100 per cent plus, I say.
