I never given a poor review before but feel compelled to do so here. I don't want anyone to have to go through what I am going through. I went in for my first 10 pass ozone therapy session two weeks ago. Halfway through the procedure, another doctor came in to take over from Doctor Williamson. It was clear that the new doctor was being trained. Doctor Williamson stayed in the room to supervise. Once the procedure was over, they left me unsupervised with the needle still in my arm. After a few minutes, my arm started to throb. A few minutes later, I started calling out for someone to get the needle out. It took another 10 minutes for the new doctor and Steven to come in and tend to me. The new doctor took the needle out and did a poor job of wrapping my arm. The compression bandage came off before she even left the room. When I got home, the gauze was bloody. Since the procedure two weeks ago, my arm has been in terrible condition and I am in severe pain. I am unable to use my arm at all - I can't even pick up a glass of water. I am going to my primary care physician today - she is concerned that I have nerve damage. I have messaged Dr. Williamson twice and Steven is the one who called me back. I want to talk to a doctor, not the office manager. I wish I would have checked the other Yelp reviews - if I had, I would not have gone to this doctor. It is also odd that Dr Williamson is the only person with a background on the website. What is the background of the other doctor? What is Steven's background? Why is he giving me nutritional advise? I went to Dr. Williamson with the hope of improving my condition. Two weeks later, I am in a much worse place physically and mentally. read more

Dr. Williamson is absolutely amazing. She genuinely cares for anyone who walks into her practice. She takes the time to listen and research you as a whole rather than the one or two issues you may have come to see her about. Dr. Williamson was able to help me with knee pain that became unbearable and I could hardly walk. With the therapies she provided within 2 weeks the pain subsided by 80%. I can not thank her and her staff enough. If I could give a 10 star rating I would. To loose your ability to walk and then gain it back is a miracle in its self. You are one of a kind Dr. Williamson. It seems like most of my Doctors are retiring, left and right, so when my main Doctor retired, and was replaced by Dr. Williamson, I was delighted that I had a very knowledgeable Dr., as well as a Dr. who took time to review all of my concerns. My only issue is that this practice does not accept insurance, nor medicare. Also, sometimes Stephen is not there to answer the phone during regular business hours. For those 2 reasons, I give the practice a 4 star rating, although, I would give Dr. Williamson a 5 star rating. read more

Worst experience ever! She was always behind at 30 -45 min each appointment. She and her husband ( whom I don't remember having any medical training). repeatedly "prescribed" overpriced remedies and supplements which they sold in their office. I moved to a different organic practice and they immediately took me of the stuff. Dr. W diagnosed me with, amongst other things, a thyroid problem which my current doctors tested for and cannot find. Steven emailed me and we spoke on the phone for around 20 minutes are so about what I am going through. He gave me a lot of tips and resources. No strings attached. This practitioner charges for everything at high prices, and will not adjust or fix superbills for insurance reimbursement when there are errors. With such expensive visits, it would be extremely helpful to get some reimbursement back from insurance. read more

Dr. Williamson has been great! She really takes time to discuss your situation and answer any questions you have. She develops a plan to get you on the way to better health and walks you through it. She orders thorough labs so that she has a complete picture of your whole health situation. The supporting team at the Stengler Center are wonderful as well. They are courteous, extremely helpful, and accommodating. They return calls/messages quickly. SO BAD. I saw Dr. Williamson after my previous doctor retired. She prescribed a "natural" thyroid medication. I didn't question it as I had a couple family members who took levothyroxine. I feel so foolish for trusting her and not figuring out the medication was causing my heart to race. The medication gave me heart palpitations on and off for years until I finally went to an endocrinologist who told me I DO NOT NEED THYROID MEDICATION. Looking back at my blood work, there was no indication why she would prescribe this medication (except for the fact that she sold it out of her office)! I also echo what others have said about price gouging. They raised price for an office visit without informing me AND constantly tried to UPSELL me on tests I didn't need. She even tried to charge me several hundred dollars for a heart monitor test due to my heart palpitations which were a result of the Natur-Throid SHE prescribed, which as I mentioned, I didn't need. Dr. W has been my primary care physician for over 10 years. I am currently 60. When I first met her I had stomach issues for about 20 years. Needless to see she found what the problem was when the specialists couldnt. Since then, she is my "go to" MD. I try to avoid the Dr.s office, but I had to come in for a follow up on some blood work. My appointment was at 1:15pm. I showed up at 1:00 and it's 2:30 and the Dr. Still has not made an appearance. I feel like I waited so long that even though I am not sick, I could have easily become sick from sitting in an office full of germs this long. The wait time is a common complaint for this office! I can't say enough good things about Dr. Williamson. I have been a patient of hers for ten years now, and she has played an essential role in my journey to good health. I value the personalized care she provides and how her preventative approach allows me to be proactive about my health. Throughout our relationship, I've been able to experience the effectiveness of integrative medicine and learned how to be kind to my body. Unlike traditional medicine practices, Dr. W.'s functional approach focuses on healing from within, which gives me peace of mind. For example, she orders extensive bloodwork - not just the basics - and provides a detailed wellness plan customized with recommended supplements, diet, exercise, and other pertinent information for my specific health needs. She looks at the fine details of my results and addresses insufficiencies before they become serious problems. Because of Dr. W's guidance, I'm able to maintain excellent health, and I just feel good. When I have had specific health issues in the past (gut problems, shingles, pre-diabetes, hypothyroidism), Dr. W. has been there to diagnose and find the root cause. Her treatment plans focus on healing from within, as opposed to traditional Band-Aid fixes. For example, there was a time a couple of years ago where I had a bad stomach ache for months, and nothing was helping. Dr. W put me on an elimination diet to figure out what was causing my gut inflammation. Together, we figured it out, and she advised me on the proper diet for my specific gut problem. To this day, I don't get tummy aches anymore! More recently, I had a bad case of shingles on my face, scalp, in my ear, even in my eye. I had an allergic reaction to one of the medications that the ER prescribed me for the nerve pain (Gabapentin), and my face swelled up like a balloon. So I stopped taking that medication, and Dr. W replaced it with a homeopathic remedy that she made for me in her office, which, I swear, was more effective than the pharmaceutical drug the hospital had given me - and without an allergic reaction! Not only that, but once Dr. W started me on some IV therapies, my recovery from shingles was not only bearable but kind of impressive. In the end, I had some minor facial scarring; however, Dr. W. used some of my blood to create a platelet-rich plasma spray for facial rejuvenation. I didn't think my face would ever look the same again, but thanks to Dr. W, my face is back to normal. In addition to her functional approach, I appreciate that she explains things to me with however-much scientific detail I can handle, so I'm never left feeling confused or that I have more questions than when I started. Not only is she well-prepared when I get in her office, but she also takes the time to be thorough while I'm with her and addresses all of my questions with care. She listens to my concerns, and I don't feel that I have to exaggerate symptoms to get her attention. Terrible experience. I went to Coast Medical Center to see Dr. Linette Williamson for my Annual Physical. My insurance card clearly indicates that preventative health care is free. This is all I asked for. Month later by accident I saw on my health care providers website that my balance (deductible) changed. I called the health care provider and found out that Coast Medical Center requested 18 different lab tests and claimed many items that are not preventative. Instead of billing this visit as my annual physical they claimed a regular office visit and requested far more lab test than needed. I never authorized/requested/asked for any of these additional items. I stated many times during the office visit that I just want my annual physical done not extra services (nutrition, extra tests, etc.). I had many calls with the billing manager at Intefusion and the insurance company. This racket cost me over 600 dollars and hours of trouble. Never again will I visit Coast Medical Center/Linette Williamson. In my opinion the main issue is the third party billing company Intefusion (medical billing solutions). Intefusion promises doctors and physicians an increase of revenue....how? I believe by overcharging the insurance companies who will pass it on to the patient and by sneaking in services that the patient not requires or requests. The short-term revenue increase will annoy/anger your long term patients. Is it worth it to lose your patients over short-term revenue increase? read more

I did like a previous Yelper and searched my insurance website for a provider and took a chance (well... after reading the Yelp reviews :). It's been easy to schedule appointments, and I have been to the office a few times, only once I had to wait. Communicating with the office is a breeze - I prefer email over phone and Lori at the front desk is always quick to respond. Dr Williamson is great, I felt comfortable with her right away and didn't feel rushed. I docked a star because I just wish this was an all-in-one clinic - they send you all over town for things like blood work and imaging. read more

She was referred to me by my massage therapist after venting my frustration of feeling completely abandoned by the traditional health care system. Needless to say, my experience with her has been life changing. The best unsuspecting surprise! I searched the provider directory on my insurance website for a female provider, and I took a chance. I was pleasantly surprised with my entire experience at this office! This is a small practice, and the office staff are very friendly, thorough and knowledgeable. I waited a few extra minutes to see Dr. Williamson, but it was well worth it! She took her time to cover everything we needed to talk about AND she has an independent holistic practice in the same building. I came in as a first time patient and showed up promptly the full 30 minutes before my scheduled appointment time, which I was told was critical to fill out paperwork. I spent about 2 minutes on the paperwork and did nothing with the remaining 28. Another 40 minutes later I'm still sitting here. Terrible service. My family has been going to this practice for years since Dr. Kadry was there. Since Dr. Williamson took over, she has replaced the front office staff with incompetent employees. I had a lab test done and needed the results a week later. I called the office probably about 10 times over a span of a week and could only get through to the "answering service". I left multiple messages with her but still never received a call about my results. As a patient, I felt completely neglected. It took over three weeks of me calling in to get my results. Since this experience I have continued to have a terrible time reaching the office to make appointments. I usually have to leave two or three messages with the answering service before anyone calls me back or before I get through to the front office. I am astonished by the service that I have experienced. I think Dr. Williamson has a great outlook on health and agree with her on her emphasis on nutrition. But there is no excuse for the service I have experienced. read more

Long waits. They never answer their phone. You can only leave messages for a return call. Husband works with Dr Williamson as a nutritionist but he doesn't appear to have credentials. He will read to you from a book as opposed to speaking from knowledge. I Googled Linette Williamson to find updated contact information and it appears that she now works for Kaiser. She addressed all my concerns and took the time to explain things. She seemed to genuinely care more than other doctors I've seen in the area. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that she ordered blood work that I thought was routine and covered by insurance. But it turned out it was coded as "patient has vitamin deficiency" and was not covered by insurance. There was no basis for her to assume vitamin deficiency. $510 for an office visit? Dr. Williamson, and her staff, appear to care more about the bottom line than the patient. To be charitable, I do feel that Dr. Williamson does care about her patients. Though, perhaps only to the extent that they keep booking appointments. On two occasions, I will billed $510 for a single office visit. Both visits were subject to a supplemental fee of over $225 for what was described as a "prolonged visit fee". Both visits were specifically for follow-ups on blood work. I was NEVER advised that such a fee would be added to my bill. When I called to discuss the supplemental charges, which I feel are borderline fraudulent, I was told that Dr. Williamson routinely spends extra time with her patients. (Now I see why). The office manager, Steven, was extremely unprofessional and lacked any compassion for my situation. I won't go back. I encourage anyone who is looking for a doctor to keep looking. There are many doctors out there that are willing to give quality time to their patients, without strings attached. read more

I arrived on time to my appointment at 10:00 and was told that my appointment time was changed to 2:15 and that one of the nurses left a voicemail informing me of the change (later i saw the voicemail was left at 8:30 that same morning, not nearly enough notice). The woman at the front desk initially apologized and said that they could fit me in now into their schedule. I told her that I had to be somewhere around 11:00 and she reassured me that it wouldn't take too long. No other patients were in the waiting room and there seemed to be plenty of staff. And so I waited. It wasn't until 10:45 that I was abruptly told that the doctor could not see me now because she was busy and that I would have to return at 2:15. Waiting 45 minutes to hear this was very frustrating and unacceptable. From my chair I could see that they were scrambling to organize their work and it seemed like no one really knew what was going on. What do they even do back there? On another, earlier occasion, I called to see if my lab results had been received from Quest Diagnostics. I was told that they were "working on it" and that I would receive a call within an hour. I received no call for 3 hours, so I called back and no one picked up. The next day when I called again, the woman failed to give me a clear answer on whether or not the doctors office had my results yet which should have been received 2 weeks prior directly from Quest. I kept asking her why there was so much confusion about finding my lab results, until finally she said "ok we'll let you know" and hung up on me. really?!?!?? I would like to add that the staff was extremely apologetic when I returned to my 2:15 appointment and treated me very well. I very much appreciate that, but I should be treated well every time I enter their office. These are just 2 isolated instances of many more smaller frustrations. I will soon be looking for a new doctor. read more
