It was a particularly humid/hot day so we popped in for their gelato. Husband got the chocolate cone no drizzle and I got the white chocolate cone with the hazelnut chocolate drizzle. Very very friendly. We got free samples "now that made me happy". My daughter opted to just get an Easter chick but they had so many flavored options I've never seen of the Lindt chocolates. Definitely worth a drop in. Altho the store was crowded everyone was helpful and friendly. read more

Assorted pick your own candies are $40 a pound. There are about 40 different chocolates to choose from, all different flavors and variety. We were able to choose a different variety of chocolates, and we also got the specialty coffee with the chocolate melted inside. I opted in for the chocolate coconut, which was very nice. read more

In addition to milk chocolate, it has a phenomenal selection of my favorite types of dark chocolate. The Lindt chocolate shop in Clinton, Connecticut is truly an experience of a lifetime. It can make even the oldest person feel like a kid in the proverbial candy shop. Watching the customers' eyes light up as the aroma of the chocolate entices them deeper into the store, many become outrageously giddy. The store management team has made a lot of nice additions to their shop, including adding scrumptious ice cream, hot chocolate, coffees, and an amazing variety of every flavor truffles you can think of that goes with chocolate. My apologies for not having pictures of the interior and our ice cream cones. Upon seeing the chocolate dipped homemade waffle cone, pictures were just not on my mind at that moment. I love,love Lindt chocolate(so it's a delight when I come to their store in Clinton outlets)!! I picked a bunch of hard to find truffle flavors. I chose 2 of each flavor I liked(birthday cake,coconut,hazelnut, plain/raspberry cheesecakes,etc.). You grab a bag & start filling it w/ pure goodness. I paid $16 something for about 1/2 pound of truffles.The cashier,Sabrina, was ok. She offered me a free truffle. It was a new flavor blueberries & cream. It was so good!The burst of flavor in my mouth made me happy! I did a happy dance. It was pretty busy w/ numerous customers. It was a chill vibe & I felt like a big kid in the candy store! read more

Lindt chocolates are my favorite! When I walked in and saw ALLLL the different flavors they had I got so excited!! They offered different size bags and boxes for you to select your own! I picked out 27 pieces for $19! Flavors I have never heard of before! They also offer ice cream which looked amazing! I will have to try it out next time! Lindt makes quality Swiss chocolate. The Lindt store in Clinton is very small, but packed with all kinds chocolate, mostly lots of truffles. Here you'll find truffles that other stores don't sell, you can get a variety or just your favorite. They're sold by weight. They also have plenty of seasonal chocolate or traditional bars of chocolate. This is a great place to get a gift for a chocolate lover. This store also features a coffee bar, where you can get coffee flavored with Lindt chocolate, if you so choose. Yesterday they had a special sale, if you spend $10.00 on anything in the store you get five free truffles. This is a great way to try a new flavor. I tried their orange truffle, it's absolutely delicious! The sales associates who work here are very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We wandered into Lindt Chocolate Shop while visiting Clinton Crossing. The day was hot and chocolate was essential. We walked in and we hit with the sweet smell. Upon first glance you will notice PILES of Lindt truffles in all flavors! Maybe I gently recommend the almond butter and pistachio if you're looking for new flavors to try! This shop also offered ice cream and chocolate drinks! There was a little back up at the ice cream station...and rightfully so since it was such a hot day. As someone who is dairy sensitive I was checking out the selection of dark chocolate along the wall. My favorite bar, chili chocolate, was just one of the offerings. They had a few discount items to pursue as well. Along the back walls there were some boxes of mixed treats. Right near there were Oat Milk chocolate bars! These dairy free finds were VERY exciting for me. There is no reason to miss this delicious little spot! read more

Staff there were very friendly and helpful and tolerated all the questions I was asking. So thank you to them for their patience in helping me. This place is one of the convincing factors for my son to accompany me to go shopping at the Clinton Crossing outlets! The store, yet small-ish it bright and inviting. The smells in there truly are intoxicating. Those alone entice you to make a purchase. The worker there is always friendly and informative. Your best bet it to opt for getting 75 pieces which will run you around $24 or so. Lindt really has come a long way with their variety and options of flavor choices and options making it really quick to get up to your 75 count. Pro tip: If you come on a hot summer day and don't live so close by, bring a cooler with ice packs in your car to protect these little morsels! read more

I am so surprised to learn The Mozart kugels that I used to stock up on whenever I was passing by Austria and Germany are actually made by Lindt!!! I found them here in the Lindt store and ended up buying a bunch. As these are sold by weight and are heavy, they did end up costing me a pretty penny! I can't come to the Clinton crossing outlets without coming into this store. First, the employees always greet you with a complimentary truffle. Winning! The prices are very good and they always have items sale and lots of chocolate gift boxes. Lindt also has a rewards card. Today, I got a free Lindt chocolate bunny for registering for the card. Best part of the store was Danny. He welcomed me with a free chocolate. ( WOOT) Lots to choose from there. A new coffee bar that sounded like the height of decadence. I left with a Creme Brulee chocolate bar, a few candy jellies and a bag of on sale chocolate bunnies. The gal who rang me up, Kendall, was friendly and knowledgeable. In my shopping for customer service, this place is about as good as it gets (in my price range, anyway). I was treated like a VIP customer, even though I didn't even spend $100 in the store. The young men at the counter were very professional and helpful. I was even more impressed when one of the young men went over to a silly woman who brought her pretty little dog into the chocolate shop and told her in a very nice way that she could not bring a pet into the store. The woman whined a little in an entitled way and pompously asked if she could just wait in line and pay for her chocolate, then leave. The young man was very kind but made sure that she got that pooch out of the store and away from the yummies, leaving the rest of us to enjoy dog-hair free chocolate. I was only impressed by this because it is the third time this year that my son, who has severe allergies to animals, has had to leave a store because of someone carting along a beloved pet on a shopping spree. Service animals are an important asset to many people's lives but if Fido isn't essential to your activities of daily living, leave him home when you are going to the store and spare the rest of us the aggravation of dealing with your hairy friend. On a side note, you will want to read carefully some of the signs in the store. Especially the fact that the single wrapped chocolates (which are delicious) are priced for a quarter pound. Multiply by 4 for the price per pound, folks, so be prepared when you get up to the register. Pricey, yeah, but definitely worth an occasional splurge for the absolute creamiest chocolate you will ever put into your mouth. read more
