In addition to the wide variety of truffles, there is a great selection of candy bars for you or your loved ones!

For true Chocolate connoisseurs and chocolate lovers such as myself, it is most appropriate that my 400th review be about one of the best chocolate shops in the universe. In addition to milk chocolate, it has a phenomenal selection of my favorite types of dark chocolate. The Lindt chocolate shop in Clinton, Connecticut is truly an experience of a lifetime. It can make even the oldest person feel like a kid in the proverbial candy shop. Watching the customers' eyes light up as the aroma of the chocolate entices them deeper into the store, many become outrageously giddy. The store management team has made a lot of nice additions to their shop, including adding scrumptious ice cream, hot chocolate, coffees, and an amazing variety of every flavor truffles you can think of that goes with chocolate. My apologies for not having pictures of the interior and our ice cream cones. Upon seeing the chocolate dipped homemade waffle cone, pictures were just not on my mind at that moment. Unfortunately, the cones were devoured too quickly to have their pictures taken.

I love, love Lindt chocolate(so it's a delight when I come to their store in Clinton outlets)!! I picked a bunch of hard to find truffle flavors. I chose 2 of each flavor I liked(birthday cake, coconut, hazelnut, plain/raspberry cheesecakes,etc.). You grab a bag & start filling it w/ pure goodness. I paid $16 something for about 1/2 pound of truffles. The cashier,Sabrina, was ok. She offered me a free truffle. It was a new flavor blueberries & cream. It was so good! The burst of flavor in my mouth made me happy! I did a happy dance. It was pretty busy w/ numerous customers. It was a chill vibe & I felt like a big kid in the candy store!

Lindt chocolates are my favorite! When I walked in and saw ALLLL the different flavors they had I got so excited!! They offered different size bags and boxes for you to select your own! I picked out 27 pieces for $19! Flavors I have never heard of before! They also offer ice cream which looked amazing! I will have to try it out next time! The gentleman working was so nice too!

Lindt makes quality Swiss chocolate. The Lindt store in Clinton is very small, but packed with all kinds chocolate, mostly lots of truffles. Here you'll find truffles that other stores don't sell, you can get a variety or just your favorite. They're sold by weight. They also have plenty of seasonal chocolate or traditional bars of chocolate. This is a great place to get a gift for a chocolate lover. This store also features a coffee bar, where you can get coffee flavored with Lindt chocolate, if you so choose. Yesterday they had a special sale, if you spend $10.00 on anything in the store you get five free truffles. This is a great way to try a new flavor. I tried their orange truffle, it's absolutely delicious! The sales associates who work here are very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. If you love chocolate this store is worthy of a visit.

We wandered into Lindt Chocolate Shop while visiting Clinton Crossing. The day was hot and chocolate was essential. We walked in and we hit with the sweet smell. Upon first glance you will notice PILES of Lindt truffles in all flavors! Maybe I gently recommend the almond butter and pistachio if you're looking for new flavors to try! This shop also offered ice cream and chocolate drinks! There was a little back up at the ice cream station...and rightfully so since it was such a hot day. As someone who is dairy sensitive I was checking out the selection of dark chocolate along the wall. My favorite bar, chili chocolate, was just one of the offerings. They had a few discount items to pursue as well. Along the back walls there were some boxes of mixed treats. Right near there were Oat Milk chocolate bars! These dairy free finds were VERY exciting for me. There is no reason to miss this delicious little spot!

Store is a little smaller than what I tenderness but there were a lot to choose from. Many discounted deals as well. Staff there were very friendly and helpful and tolerated all the questions I was asking. So thank you to them for their patience in helping me. Our rewards card was a free years old so I guess it expired, but we made a new one.

The place is the only place for gourmet gelato. Add to that the chocolate topping and candy bar piece - delicious . They also have all the normally delicious chocolate bars and balls as usual. All of it amazing.

    Assorted chocolates.

Whenever we go shopping here, we stop in for some milk chocolate truffle hot chocolate. It is really good. I'm not a fan of hot drinks, but this is an exception.

It was founded by sisters Michele Riccio and Christine Gazzillo, with assistance from their parents Clement & Marie Gazzillo. The two sisters come from a family with experience in the restaurant business; their father Clement is a longtime restaurateur and a current partner at Petrillo's Pizza Pub & Grill in Madison. Michele works as a paraprofessional for the public school system while Christine is a registered dental hygienist. When a candy store that had previously been a location of the Fuzziwig's Candy Factory chain went up for sale, the sisters' father encouraged them to purchase it and go into business together. Clem had always dreamed of having a business where the whole family would be involved. Located in the lower level of Clinton Premium Outlets (aka Clinton Crossing), Candy Works specializes in carrying a wide selection of candy bars, nostalgic candies, old-fashioned glass-bottled sodas, freshly baked goods, and even novelty gifts. Even the sisters' mother Marie helps out with making the freshly baked goods. I recently stopped at Candy Works with my two young sons. I had previously visited many years ago when it was still Fuzziwig's Candy Factory. The set-up of the store is essentially the same, but the Gazzillo family put their own spin on things. The interior was loaded with every conceivable candy variety that you could think of: chocolate bars, jelly beans, gummies, hard candies, gum, fudge, lollipops, taffy, etc. Many of the candies were ones that I haven't seen, or even thought about, in many years. They also had quite a few novelty and gag gifts. I told my two sons that they could pick out any candy that they wanted. You want to know what they both picked out? Ice cream.... doughwiches to be exact. Oh brother; they crack me up. I however decided to pick out a nice mix of candy bars for myself, including "Zagnut", "Oh Henry!", "Abba-Zaba", "Chunky", and a "Cannoli Bar". These will all come in handy on future trips to the movie theater. Whether you're looking for your favorite candy bar, hard candies to make "goodie bags", a funny gag gift, or a nostalgic candy that you haven't seen since your childhood, then you need to make a trip to Candy Works!

It's definitely a little more expensive than some of the other lobster spots we tried, but I honestly liked the food here the most. The lobster meat is lightly seasoned with what tasted like butter and lemon, and it all worked perfectly together without overpowering the lobster. The bun was incredibly soft and loaded with so much meat that it was practically falling apart in the middle. We got the half-pound lobster roll both times and would absolutely order it again, but it is $60. The clam chowder was also excellent. It's creamy without being too thick, and you can really taste all the ingredients. The hot dogs seem to be really popular -- almost everyone was ordering a lobster roll and a hot dog combo. My son loved them so much he had two the first visit! The outdoor seating and water views make it such a relaxing place to sit and eat, and there's also a market on-site where you can buy lobster and shellfish. Definitely one of our favorite stops and somewhere we'd happily return to.

There was a sign with a phrase that was also written on the box for the cannoli I ordered that said "pleaza donta squeeza da cannoli!". I understand that the store is clearly Italy themed and claims to bring the culture and authenticity to the area which is great, I just think there is a better way that doesn't involve mocking a people or accent for that purpose. Again very cute store, great options, and wonderful service. Just consider the impact that the branding may have on the community you are trying to support. Thank you.
