Lobster Roll & Lobster Bisque
Huiwen C.

The lobster rolls and lobster bisque are delicious. We ended up coming twice in one weekend! The buttery lobster just melts in your mouth and the bisque just hits the spot. We even bought multiple lobster bisques to go to eat at home, but definitely dine in - the vibes are immaculate. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We loved that Lobster Landing is open even when it's pouring outside!

Great lobster roll, the meat was perfection, the bun unique and hearty, nice views of the harbor, sturdy seating. Wish there was the option of fries but I get it more money on ventilation etc. they offer bagged chips, lobster bisque (which I wish we got to dip in) the tables are also a bit gross on some (due to weather and birds) but since it's outside this is inevitable. You're here for the lobster and water and you get it. Pure summer vibes.

Great stop off of the highway for lunch! The views were picturesque while waiting in line. The line snaked down the sidewalk on Labor Day, but moved quickly. After ordering, our food was bagged and ready to go in no time. The lobster roll was very meaty and buttery-- probably one of the best I had on my weekend trip through CT/RI/MA. The surprisingly tasty item was the sausage and peppers sandwich. For a place known for lobster, this sausage sandwich was very flavorful and loaded with peppers and

Nestled nearly 2 hours away from NYC in the quiet sleepy town of Clinton is probably the best lobster roll I've ever had. Does it get better if you keep venturing deep into New England territory? Plenty of parking, it's outdoor seating but there's a covering in case it rains, it sits close to the harbor if you like that sea air. Bathrooms are porta potties but they were super clean, had tissue and hand wash. Now to the nitty gritty! We shared a NE chowder that was to die for. I had the double and it was worth it, they weren't stingy with the meat, flavor and butter ratio was just right. Staff was friendly and expeditious, no complaints there. Would definitely stop again, perfect lunch break spot on the way to the city or further into New England.

Quarter pound lobster roll & a side order of coleslaw

I found my visit to Lobster Landing to be extremely satisfying, even considering all of the acclaim it receives and the years I have anticipated going. I went early, only about 20 minutes after they opened at 11. I had seen pictures of the building ahead of time, but they had an outdoor setup as well. The setting along the waterfront was gorgeous, a there were lots of tables, but I imagine they fill up quickly. Business was already beginning to pick up a lot in the 20 or so minutes I was there. Service was friendly, and my order was ready extremely quickly. It probably took 3 minutes tops. I ordered the quarter pound lobster roll and a side of coleslaw. Prices were pretty average, the roll was $31. The lobster was chopped a bit more than usual, but also not overly so, and there were still lots of large chunks of claw meat throughout. I appreciated that the buns were simply grill toasted, as the generous butter drizzled over the roll would have been too much for me had the bun been buttered much itself. It was a simple and straightforward CT style lobster roll, executed very well. Such a straightforward approach really requires strong execution, and I was impressed. It was delicious, and the lobster was perfectly cooked. The coleslaw had a great balance of tang and sweetness, and wasn't overly dressed. Solid coleslaw. No complaints. If you're a fan of just a good, classic hot buttered lobster roll, this is a fantastic choice.

Delicious lobster rolls! My friend took us here because this was her favorite place for lobster rolls. We ordered them to go this time but I'll have to enjoy them there next time. Lots of lobster meat and butter. We also ordered the lobster bisque with a few lobster chunks. It was also delicious but I wish there was more meat. We also had coleslaw but I thought they were ok.

CT warm lobster roll, 4 oz

We stopped at Lobster Landing for one of their famous lobster rolls, often voted among the best in Connecticut -- and it did not disappoint. The regular 4-ounce roll was $29 (coleslaw is extra), and it was fresh, buttery, and well worth it. It's a BYOB spot, so we brought a couple of beers along, which paired perfectly with the meal. The setup is casual: you place your order at the shack, grab a seat, and wait for your name to be called. Seating options include picnic tables by the ordering area or tables overlooking the water -- both with a relaxed, seaside vibe. Parking was easy when we arrived, but as we left, spaces were filling up and people were waiting. The porta-potties were surprisingly clean (about as good as porta-potties get). Food-wise, everything was satisfying. My husband had the sausage with peppers and onions -- hearty, flavorful, and generous. The New England clam chowder was excellent: creamy, loaded with clams and potatoes, and even better once we added a little pepper and some oyster crackers. Overall, it was a classic New England seafood shack experience -- casual, delicious, and memorable.

Lobster roll, corn and lobster bisque

Lobster roll was decent. The roll wasnt really crisp or as buttery as I'd like. Lobster bisque was really nice. My disappointment was the corn on the cob. It was soggy and had no flavor. It should still be in season. I think it was over-boiled. The staff lady who rung us up was very friendly. Beautiful view and half seating is under a canopy, which is appreciated.

1/4lb lobster roll and clam chowder. Both were excellent!

Awesome little shack style restaurant in a super cute little town. I'd actually consider doing a 2-3 night rental and take a little vaca here. The lobster was sweet and buttery. The clam chowder was not overly creamy or too thick. It was perfect! The staff was super friendly too!

This is hands down the best lobster roll I've ever had! It's an adorable little seafood shack in a marina and trust me when I say you will not regret going here! I highly recommend it and the clam chowder was fantastic as well! They have a few picnic tables if you want to eat there on the water, or you can take it and go becuase it comes wrapped to go.

Loved coming here after a day at the beach! It was so delicious and the service is great. We came around 5:30 on a Sunday evening near the end of August. There was hardly even a line and it was a gorgeous day. Cannot wait to return

All I have to say is delicious lobster roll and great customer service!! I would definitely recommend!

Tory G.

The sausage and peppers sandwich was very good and well priced. The lobster roll was tasty as well but it has a disproportionate amount of meat from the tips of the claws which I don't care for. They have a bunch of outdoor tables set up in shade and sun to eat at.

The fried cod was some of the best I've ever had. Fish tacos were very good - love the red pepper remoulade it comes with. The two times we've gotten them, they needed just a touch more crunch and golden brown color. Still very good and the best around!!! Clam shack staff confirmed when I held it up to inquire why they are frying steamers that this was, in fact, a steamer. And as a side note, fried steamers are terrible. They did reimburse for two orders however, won't return if this is what the kitchen/owner tries to serve! I guess the "clam" castle has shifted focus to lobster sandwich boats. The pharmacy and seafood dept.are standouts! They offer basic staples on sale at regular intervals so you can always get meals made without breaking the bank. We spent way too long at the Clinton Shoprite trying to fulfill a simple shopping list. The only bright spot was the employee manning the meat department--he knew what they stocked, where things were and when they might be restocked and he was super pleasant to boot! It's a shame to see a store go downhill so steeply because as recently as 2025, this store was my favorite grocery store in the area.

Again, another perfect dining experience at Lenny and Joe's…read more I started this visit with a locally crafted birch beer, which was cold and refreshing. This is the perfect compliment to any meal here. My meal consisted of the three fried combo, which consisted of fresh fish, shrimp, and calamari. The sides included were coleslaw and french fries. If you wanted, you could substitute onion rings for the french fries, and sweet potato fries for a couple dollars extra. My dinner arrived quickly with a generous portion of fried fish, fried calamari, and a medium sized fried shrimp. The side of coleslaw was delicious, mayonnaise based, and on a little bit of sweet side was perfectly portioned and complimented the meal. The french fries placed underneath this scrumptious fried triple medley were well seasoned and nice and crunchy, these seem like they just came out out of the fryer later and were very very fresh I loved the fried fish; delicately battered and deep fried separate from the calamari and shrimp as it had a different type of coating on it and it just hit on point. The calamari were the tentacles and the rounds, perfectly deep-fried and seasoned to perfection. They just were so enjoyable as the fried shrimp were delicately well seasoned medium sized and accompanied this dish perfectly. My financial advisor, who I took to dinner had the fish and chips which he totally enjoyed and wants to come back again and get. He also had a birch beer and polished that off like a pro. I really wanted the world famous Rhode Island clam chowder to begin with but seeing I'm getting older I don't think I could've finished the whole meal and the clam chowder. I'll be sure to order this world famous Rhode Island clam chowder. The next time I come because it really is can't miss. Our server was excellent! This nice lady just took care of us like a mama would at the dinner table. She was so accommodating, checked in at the right times nice warm smile, a wonderful server who made our experience just a little better. The restrooms were good, not great, but they were clean enough and it got my by until I get home after the one hour 10 minute drive. In closing, I love this place. It is my go to for seafood when I need something that includes an enjoyable experience.. Lenny Joe's is always consistent with their product. You can't go wrong coming here when you're at the shoreline or make this a destination. Lenny and Joe's is the perfect shoreline experience for dinner. It is casual, and consistent always with their fresh seafood and wonderful service.

Only come here if you don't care about spending $$$ for food that genuinely makes you question your life choices. The atmosphere was nice. Service wasn't great but that was understandable given the dinner rush. Owner: i respect that you read feedback and respond. I wanted to love this place but was disappointed. Please include a lemon with your fish dishes. That little of a difference may change a lot of opinions about the food quality here. The lobster nachos were more impressive to look at than to eat because it was basically cold lobster, a corn salsa, and dry tortilla chips. There's nothing else served other than a spritz of lime so the dish is pretty dry on its own.
