I can't believe no one has review him yet! I know he categorized as an oral surgeon but he's also a…read moregeneral & cosmetic dentist. I used to be terrified of dentists. I severely dreaded every time I had to visit a dentist. Every time I would get in that chair and almost seemingly against my own will, I would get in a full on panic, tremble and cry uncontrollably. It was a horrible experience for me, as I'm sure it was horrible for the dentist. My last dentist would frequently make disparaging comments about the state of my teeth or the fact that working in my mouth was a lot of work for him. I didn't really appreciate that considering that's why I'm paying him to fix these things, not to mention these comments didn't help quell any of my anxiety. Some of the work he did started falling apart and instead of going back to him, I started looking for another dentist. Someone introduced me to Dr. Chaudhry, so I decided to give him a try and I set up an appointment. I get to my appointment; fill out my paperwork and the assistant lead me back. As I got in the chair, that old familiar panic rose up in me again but his assistant is great. She's very friendly and in no time had me laughing while we waited for the Dr, which initially took my panic down many notches. Then the Dr. came in, and immediately I noticed his demeanor was very calm. He asked me why I was there and I told him. As he was looking inside my mouth, I was cringing a little bit on the inside, wondering what he would have to say about the work that I needed done but when he was finished, he did not make one negative comment. He was kind but firm in his diagnosis and talked to me normally like a person and not like I was a little child. He asked me if I wanted to have any work done today. I said I did, and he explained to me exactly what he was going to do, and he did so any time he was about to do anything and that set me at great ease. I don't know why but it was strangely comforting to know exactly what he was doing. He started working on my mouth and a couple minutes into it, I realized I was not panicking, trembling or crying. I was completely at ease. It was the first time I had EVER felt this way in a dentist chair. The only problem that came with that was, I didn't know what to do with myself! I started looking all over the room at the paintings, the windows, everything. Before I knew it, he was finished. He explained what else I needed done and I went in the bathroom (I wanted to see the work) before going up front to make another appointment and it looked so great, at first I had a hard time finding where it was because, honestly, it looks so professional you can't even tell you had work done. Everyone at that office is SO nice! I never felt that any of them (especially the Dr.) spoke to me condescendingly in explaining things, the procedures, my insurance coverage, anything. It was the first time I left a dentist office feeling good about myself. I've many visits since then and I've never panicked or cried once! I am so glad I've had the pleasure of meeting such a incredible, patient, & wonderful dentist! If you are anything like I was, literally terrified of dentists, I promise you this is the dentist for you (or your children, I was waiting for my appointment as he was finishing up with a child and the child was scared and was crying a little but the Dr. did an incredible job at keeping the child calm (the mom helped a little too) but it was the Dr.'s calmness and patience that I think helped the most. He is the simply the greatest.

No one ever called back. Hardly ever saw Dr. Chaudry -- he would peek into my mouth once in a while, nod and walk away. Husband and I seriously considering a new dentist.

Made an appointment and then entered my insurance info online. When I arrived I was asked for my…read moresocial security number which I was uncomfortable providing. In the past Ive been notified of many password and social security breaches so I didnt think that was relevant to a basic cleaning only appointment. My insurance 100% covers the cleaning. After not wanting to provide my social the office manager came out and said they need my social to submit to Delta Dental. I felt uncomfortable with the entire proceeding so offered to just leave. However, I decided to call Delta Dental and was told that just my insurance info that I provided was enough to look up my policy. I then called Wynnewood Dental Arts and merged in the Delta Dental rep. She clearly told Wynnewood Dental Arts my social wasnt needed. Then Wynnewood Dental Arts said they verified my Delta coverage the day before, but like to have the social security numbers as an office policy (not what the manager said to me). If you want to be treated like an idiot and lied to this is the office for you. Again, they never needed my social, already had my insurance verified, and then lied to me

I picked this office through the Alumni Network of Temple University-Dr. DeFinnis lived up to his reputation.
