A previous poster called him arrogant; I found him to be confident, funny, completely capable and down to earth. Even so, I would rather have a doctor with a healthy ego caused by professional success over one without. Dr. Scharf competently fixed my unsightly crack with the skill and artistry provided by his training and experience. I went in thinking I would spend $1800 to get it fixed, but it was under $300. Yes, I'll likely have to get some more restorative work done when the composite fix degrades, but to even have the less expensive option to tide me over is a blessing. In fact, Dr. Sierakowski recently performed a procedure on an area I've had to do 3 times already (ugh!) and this is by far the most confident I have been in a successful outcome. Most of the procedures I've experienced before left me spitting blood for about 48 hours, not being able to speak, major swelling, and let's not go into my severe hangry phases from not being able to physically eat! However, Dr. Sierakowski's procedure was clean and virtually painless - I kid you not, no pain killers needed!! I'm not saying that's the case for everyone, but I think it speaks highly of his skillset! The entire staff is friendly and focused on your well-being. He finally went to your office , with a swollen face, terrible tooth pain... While you performed a dental exam, you made comment. "What happen to the crown." With prompting you gave him a Antibiotic, no Pain med intervention, and a dentist recommendation. It appeared like you could not be bothered. No worries. We found another Dentist ( Not the one you recommended) that hopefully takes the time and repairs the damaged tooth that you caused in the first place. Best Dentist Ever --…read more I called on a Sunday because of the amount of pain I was experiencing and I knew I needed to see a dentist asap! Little did I know the actual doctor himself would answer the phone and happily schedule me an appointment for a few hours later, Sunday evening! Eric & his wife Lindsay and seriously the best there is. Everything from scheduling the appointment, to when I got there and the care exceeded my expectations! Turns out I needed a root canal and then a crown. The entire process was seemless. And the end results are beautiful. I signed up for their dental program which was a no brained and got a ton of discounts off of my services. I will go back shortly to receive my 1 of 2 cleanings that are covered in their program. Dr.Eric is super gentle (I've had a life-long fear of dentists) and patient, and he was willing to spend as much time as it took to go over my treatment plan with me. I am never kept waiting when I visit the office. I am always taken back pretty much right away. The office is clean and calming...almost feels like home. Upon getting there, the office staff told me they did not take my insurance...although I had filled out the online insurance paperwork weeks ago. It would have been considerate if they had called to tell me this before driving a half hour into their office. Why ask for my info ahead of time? Then when leaving, the office staff made a remark that whatever I had going on was no emergency anyways, despite the doctor not even looking at my gum issue. Left feeling very talked down to and that they do not care about their patients' time.
