Didn't badger me about how often I brushed or flossed. This is only a small gripe and does not reflect poorly on the quality of their work as dental professionals. A++++ on the part that mattered the most.

We didn't understand why the over charge. I called and spoke with billing personal and she said that the Dr. was working off network. I asked for her to explain, and she said," the Dr. is allowed to make this decision to go off network. What this means is they don't want to pay the fee from the insurance, so they bill the patient the extra money. Regardless, if the doctor makes the decision, the patient should know if the Dr. is working off network. Not letting the patient know about this decision, to me feels greedy in a little bit of a scam . Going to the dentist is the expensive as it is, that's why we have insurance, we pay insurance on top of that and now her prices are higher. They don't want to pay the fee, but make the patients pay at a higher cost.

During one visit, my tongue was pinched while anesthesia was administered, leaving it numb for six months -- they had used too much. On another occasion, Dr. Pavel damaged the base of one of my teeth, and I had to see a specialist to repair it. After that, I decided to come here only for cleanings, which were always excellent, but I stopped following their treatment recommendations. The new doctor Dr. Divya, however, is completely different. She only recommends procedures that are truly needed, and her advice has always matched what my second-opinion dentist says. I recently had a crown replaced and had a much better experience -- the result looks natural and not metallic like the ones I got before. I highly recommend this new doctor; she is by far much better than the previous ones.

I went with the new owner, Radiance, & she took x-rays, then saying I needed 5 fillings! Never in my life did I ever have 5 cavities at once. I questioned what & where the cavities were. Turned out 1 was a "rough area" on my tooth that could possibly turn into a cavity & the 2nd was an area between my teeth that would "benefit" having a filling?!! I said I was not going to pay for 2 extra unneeded fillings, so she filled the three. Seemed like a money grab to me & not ethical. I'm looking for a new dental practice.

They said,"How do you it was a bad job?" I thought, um, because it's my mouth and I know? But I brushed it off. He then, after looking at it, said, "Oh yea, that's not right". Really??? No way. Then, the girl that numbed me, hit a nerve and ended up causing my eye lid to paralyze. That thankfully didn't hurt but when I mentioned I couldn't blink, the assistant said, "that's the third person today, hahaha." Why tf is that funny? I've never in my life had someone paralyze my eye lid during a dental visit. And then when Dr. Scharf started to fill a cavity I had, I began to feel the drilling. I told him to stop and raised my hand to let him know. He said, "but I'm almost done." And I thought, I can feel you drilling! He asked me if I wanted more novacane and I said yes but then changed my mind because I was extremely nervous and had a lot of anxiety because I just wanted it to be over. I asked if it had to be another needle (as opposed to maybe a gel). Then he said, "Well how do you expect to get more novacane?" I let him finish and endured the pain. When he was done, he said, "see that wasn't so bad" threw his gloves on the tray and left. The guy never says goodbye so you don't know what's going on, like, am I done or what? The assistant saw I was upset and she at least treated me nicely for the rest of the visit. I thought for awhile maybe I was overreacting but if there's one thing I've learned in my life, trust your gut. I was upset for a reason and that wasn't my fault.

I asked to get a dental cleaning and got scheduled pretty quickly. They requested that I send them my latest X-rays. I told them I do not need an evaluation of any kind, just a cleaning - in and out... Nevertheless, they insisted, saying it's their policy, so I reluctantly requested my current office to send them X-rays, which they did. While in the dental chair, I repeated my request to just get a cleaning - nothing more. However, they insisted on taking the X-rays yet again - I'd guess to just bill my insurance because they could... I was not happy to waste time and get radiated again, but complied. The dental hygienist tried to upsell me while I was in the chair! I may've agreed on some the procedures, which were offered, but the mere fact of pressuring me while I was already in the chair and not asking in advance was appalling. In addition, planned another appointment after the visit, and did not have time for all of that, so I refused. Before the cleaning was completed, the dentist came into the room, and the hygienist promptly stopped the procedure. Again, I said I do not need an evaluation, just the cleaning. Again, they insisted on it. The doctor spent a few min. with me and left. I missed my next appointment and was kind of upset with what took place, but lo and behold, they send me a bill for the doctor's exam! I've had dental insurance for many years, and cleaning was ALWAYS free. Apparently, not in this office. We called a couple of times trying to resolve this issue, but the office manager would basically have just angry monologues, and barely let use speak. So, if you are a sucker for unexpected charges and pressure to upsell while in the dental chair, this office is for you. I will pay the scummy bill, but I will never get even close.

Eric & his wife Lindsay and seriously the best there is. Everything from scheduling the appointment, to when I got there and the care exceeded my expectations!
