I went up to the front desk to ask if they want us to come by another time since so much time has passed, she assured me we will be seen soon. After 45 minutes of waiting I was finally seen. You could tell it was just one nurse running the whole building that day. I came in for the Flu remedy IV since I caught a bad bug. I let the nurse know I get really squeamish with needles- he injected me and quickly left. Immediately after he left, I started feeling really faint. My boyfriend in a panic tried buzzing in the nurse, but after 3 times we knew he was too busy and wasn't going to come to check up on me. My boyfriend watched me loose all color and faint- he couldn't even find anyone in the halls to get me more water! By the time I woke up, the injection was almost over so I just let the nurse wrap it up and send me off. Granted, the Flu IV brought me back to life and made me feel amazing after- it was just a very lackluster experience. I wish I went elsewhere that I felt more cared for. They are so lucky to have someone like her who is the first person you come in contact with when inquiring about their services. The nurses are all professional and kind. They also take their time with you and make sure you are comfortable and informed with anything they are doing. I wanted to make sure this time we used a female so we could see the difference. Her outgoing personality and energy were infectious and the kids connected with her quickly. They were challenged and had a great time at the same time. It wasn't just about agility though. Young athletes have other struggles and things going on their lives that can't be discussed necessarily with a male trainer. Kirsten can relate to them and can talk while they are cooling down from agility effectively about eating habits, nutrition, empowerment and pressures they face in their daily lives. It's these conversations that are even more important than the agility. For the past four Fridays, she's been offering a special intro class for participants at Cancer Support Community. This is the 8th year she's done this amazing program. It allows cancer patients, survivors, and their supporters to get an introduction to basic ballroom dances, melding music with footsteps and other dance moves. The My Health Studio Facility provides a cozy home for dancing. There's a good sized wooden floor in the main room, with evidence of various fitness equipment around the perimeter. A side room offers a small kitchen facility and lounge area. Two restrooms come in handy. A private aesthetician's office and a reception lobby round out the space. My understanding is that they offer a variety of fitness classes and workshops throughout the week. Parking can be tricky. We're advised that you should pay attention to the signs stating which suite the spaces are reserved for, and only park in the ones for #303. There are unmarked options around the corner. The studio is at the far back end of the collection of businesses on Via Colinas opposite the Four Seasons. The complex used to have green awnings, but they've gone for a generic tan color now, which isn't as distinctive. Neighbors include Five Threads Brewing Company and a newer wine bar that fronts the street, which will have to put on the to-try list. Offering appreciation for My Health Studio to provide a home to Dance 4 Wellness' classes so that Cancer Support Community's participants can have fun learning to dance.

**Life-Changing Experience - I Finally Got to the Root of My Exhaustion!**…read more I've been exhausted since I was 13 years old, constantly being told my thyroid labs were "normal," even though I had every symptom of hypothyroidism -- cold hands and feet, brain fog, unrelenting fatigue. As a registered nurse (RN) and someone whose mother had her thyroid removed at 27, I just knew something was off. I even wrote a book on optimizing thyroid function because I went so deep into the rabbit hole trying to fix this on my own.
