I won some free classes for Tru Fusion a couple months ago from an event they were doing at Area15…read more(it was puppy yoga with Service dogs & it was an absolutely magical experience!) Started going this past February/March to check it out. I absolutely loved it! The classes are definitely not easy, but I really enjoyed them & all the instructors. The staff is incredibly nice, really take the time to help you understand the classes. The manager was so nice & gave me a tour my first visit. They have four training rooms at this location, I only used two: Rock room & Soul room. Depending which room you're in, depends if it's a heated or non-heated class. I believe the rock room is the only one not heated? This location does not offer Reformer Pilates classes. From what I understand the other two locations do you offer different types of classes that might not be available at the eastern location. The instructors are so understanding & encouraging, especially if you're new to doing any of the classes. The cleanest fitness facility I've ever been to. Locker room, showers, bathrooms, training rooms, equipment, all spotless! They provide most of the equipment, (I needed to bring a mat, mat towel, sweat towel, & water, I was able to buy the hand wraps for boxing from them directly) when you're done, they have an area for used equipment so it can be cleaned. Equipment rentals are very reasonably priced. They have plenty of lockers & storage. Tons of amenities in locker room, & a water bottle filling station. Memberships are pretty pricey for me, so I will buying their class passes! I appreciate the fact that they do have options besides a membership (with contract,) you can buy class packs (but they do need to be used in a certain period of time.) They do some pretty good deals for their class packs through out the year & you can also do drop in classes. The first person I want to give a shout out to is Ashley who teaches their Tru Mat Pilates class! She was my go to person for starting at TruFusion, she had reached out to me about setting up my classes after I had registered. She helped me out so much, such a sweet person, & an incredibly kick ass instructor! My first class was so intense (since it was my first ever Pilates class, I learned a lot) she was so encouraging & really took the time to explain everything. She knew I was pretty overwhelmed & really made it a comfortable environment. She reached out to me after & sent me a really sweet email. I appreciate her so much for following up with me after & I can't wait to take her class again in the future! The next instructor that I had was Maddie she was my instructor for Tru Boxing Conditioning Express. Such a fun, but intense class! She was so nice & took the time to explain things, was very encouraging. She helped with anything I struggled with, I appreciated her help, especially in such a fast paced class! Her class is no joke & super fun!! You are getting a full on workout & also taking out all of your aggression at the same time, you're going back-&-forth between boxing & strength training, it is super quick! My next instructor was Nicole who was subbing for Ashley for Tru Mat Pilates. My trainer & I went together to her class, we both really enjoyed it. She definitely did things very different than Ashley & I really appreciated getting a different perspective on Mat Pilate workouts. They definitely teach very differently & I do love the variation! My final free class & the reason that I will be purchasing class packs in the very near future: Tru Roll & Recover with Neylan! She has such a peaceful, warm, & inviting energy. Her class was absolutely amazing!!! The people in that class were so nice & everyone was having a great time, a lot of laughing! It was so relaxing (still intense, nothing at Tru Fusion is easy lol) It's basically a slightly heated foam roller stretching class (I was definitely very bruised after from the textured foam roller) with a lot of slow movements mixed with meditation. If you need a class to help relieve stress & open up different parts of your body, this is the class to take! I cannot wait to make it a regular part of my schedule! The only downside to TruFusion was how loud the music is in most of the training rooms versus the microphones of the trainers. It can be very overstimulating, & hard to hear what the instructors are saying. What ended up helping me was using my filtered earplugs (like concert earplugs.) So that way I was able to hear the instructors over the music & the music not be overpowering, which also made a massive difference in my workout. So if you are considering taking Tru Fusion classes, & the music is too overwhelming & overstimulating, I highly suggest using filtered earplugs! TruFusion is an absolutely amazing place to take workout/fitness classes. Thank you, TruFusion for being a safe place to learn & grow on my fitness journey.

She worked everyone out to their limit, with grace for people to drink water, take a break or make adjustments. She did a great job explaining and demoing all the cycles. I appreciate the facilities as the shower area was kept clean and spacious, as was the lobby and waiting area.

She was super friendly, explained the equipment we'd be using, and had me grab some bands and weights after I took off my shoes and put on my sticky socks. The restroom was spotless, and the shoe area was clean and organized as well. This was my first barre class ever, and I was definitely nervous, but Kellis made it feel so inviting. As soon as we started, I knew it was going to be a great class. I've honestly never started shaking so quickly--within the first 10 minutes I was already feeling it! It was such an amazing experience. I loved it and can't wait to go back.

The studio is a bit small but the ac and music were pumping at just the right beat to keep me motivated and cool. Brandi's class that I took was strength and it involved multiple slow movements that involved a stretch band, two different size weights and a yoga mat. As someone newer to exercise, the class was a bit challenging but a really good push to take things to the next level. They offer excellent different specials from those for first clients, passes and monthly memberships. They even have discounts for first responders, students and teachers for monthly memberships. I haven't seen that yet in my experience. I would definitely return to this studio for another class.

SUP yoga...it's what all the cool kids are doing! I actually don't know if that's true or not, but…read moreI wanted to take my practice to the next level while simultaneously scaring myself by being out on the water with my very real fear of falling into a body of water that I cannot see the bottom of(isn't that what weekends are all about?) My friend actually suggested this class to me after having received a flyer at a beer festival. I was instantly interested in torturing myself and told her to sign us up for the first class of the season. You can email or call Tiffany, the instructor, or you can book through their Facebook page's "About" section. There is a link to reserve your spot and pay. Easy peasy. We arrived about 20 minutes early at Reflection Bay and sat on the beach, admiring the gorgeous morning Mother Nature had given us for our first SUP Yoga class. It's a very pretty area overall, an oasis in this desert wasteland. Tiffany and her husband(your photographer) arrived about 15 minutes before class, introduced themselves, had us sign waivers, and gave us a quick paddle board lesson on land. Alright! Let's go be mermaids, only not actually fall in and swim or donanything IN the water. We started out with a quick loop around the area we were going to be getting our yoga on at, to get a feel for the board and how to navigate/balance on it. I did not do any standing up paddle boarding on this initial loop. I kneeled paddle boarded because I was literally shaking from fear of falling in(yeah, yeah, the fear is in my head.) After we did our loop, we got back to the area and hooked the back of our boards onto some ropes and secured our paddles to the back of the boards so no paddle had to lose its way in the world and float to the bottom(you really cannot see a damn thing in that water.) Practice started with a savasana and an intention setting, which was as expected. Tiffany has a nice, soothing voice to get you into the zen zone. After savasana, we tried quite a few poses that are relatively easy ON LAND. It's a whole different story out on the water, fellow yogi bears. The balance situation is a personal test filled with shaking and sweat. The struggle is real. I managed to keep myself on the board the entire time, mostly because I was hell bent on not going overboard. Not today, Ursula, not today. Tiffany's husband, Ben, was around taking photos the entire time. I would occasionally hear the sound of the photo being taken, but it wasn't distracting. Tiffany was incredibly encouraging, sweet, and relatable. She is a true yogi mama with a nurturing heart and a passion for what she does. I would highly recommend a class with Tiffany. It's a gorgeous setting to challenge yourself out on the water.

4.5 stars and I would (and will) come back!…read more I loved Izzi's Saturday morning sculpt class so much. She had a fun, upbeat, positive coaching style laced with lots of humor. The class was packed but none of the moves meant I encroached onto someone's mat. I'm knocking for a half star because even though they say no phones, tons of people were scrolling on their mat. I found it distracting and took me out of the pre-class settling in. I also rented a mat, but the mat was very thin and rather cheap feeling. I was expecting a higher end, or at least not cheap, mat considering the environ. No biggie but def an FYI for visitors. The cherry on top after class is a fresh açaí bowl from the juice bar nearby. I'll definitely comeback when I'm in Vegas again.

It was easy to find and this studio is conveniently located off the 215 freeway Flamingo Rd exit. My check in experience was quick and straight forward and the front desk receptionist was genuinely friendly. She gave me a quick tour of the studio and there are heated and non-heated rooms. The women's locker room was clean and did not have any funk odors lingering. There are showers available here. Here's where I had to knock off a star. There's lockers provided but they don't have the lock combination attached to said lockers. You can rent a lock & key from the receptionist and they take your driver license as collateral. Now I had to spend my entire class not to misplace or get that key lost. So I let the instructor (Toni) know it was my first time here at the studio. She did not bother to really show me what kind of weights and kettlebells I needed. I had to ask a fellow classmate what kind of equipment I will need. Also, I think it should be a safety precaution to ask a new student if they have been in a hot room before but she didn't ask me. I've been to other hot yoga/hot pilates class and the instructors always ask if there's any first timers. That way, they can keep in eye out for them throughout class. Maybe she assumed I've already been in hot rooms before since I "look" like a physically active person? IDK. It's fun to try out new work out studios around the city but personally, it's most likely I won't be coming back to 103 Hot. If I do, it'll be another class besides Barefoot Bootcamp.
