Both instructors were warm and welcoming. I actually hadn't seen either of them in a while, so it was nice reconnecting with familiar faces from other studios around the valley. Their cueing was clear, they were attentive throughout class, and they offered helpful corrections without making things feel intimidating. The first thing that stood out to me was the space itself. The aesthetic is beautiful with a soft neutral color palette and a very clean, boutique feel. Walking into the main studio and seeing the rows of reformer/cadillac units is pretty impressive. Pilates nerd observation, but their equipment doesn't seem to be the standard Balanced Body or Merrithew setup. It almost feels like a custom hybrid between the two, which was fun to experience. Check-in is seamless through an iPad. It seems like the front desk is shared with the instructors, which keeps things pretty low-key. If one of the chiropractors is around, they'll usually say hi, which is a nice touch. Another thing I noticed was how immaculate the studio is. The props all looked clean and practically new, and the entire space feels very well maintained. I also like that they offer chiropractic services because it helps set them apart from a lot of other Pilates studios in the valley. It feels more like a wellness space than just a place to take class. I had a great experience at the Henderson location and can't wait to check out the Summerlin location when it opens.

I liked the openness and the sereneness of the place. He told me about an offer of 2 weeks of unlimited yoga classes for a nominal price. After reviewing the website, I see that this studio offers many options. He reminded me the main thing to yoga is to breathe, and I smiled because it seemed as if he knew I tend to stop breathing during classes. Then Elana dropped three sentences I won't forget. * "Your body is always listening." * "Use your breath to communicate with your body." * "Your body is listening to your thoughts." I'd heard: "Use your breath to connect to your body." I'd heard people say, "Your subconscious is listening." But never... "Use your breath to communicate with your body." Communication implies relationship. A conversation. Then came another invitation. Move however your body wants. Cat-Cow, if you'd like. Or something else. Music up. Free flow. Then music off. I'm a trainer, coach, and instructor and this is where I go for my personal fitness. It's my early morning prep for the day or else my break in the afternoon. You often get the sauna to yourself or occasionally share with one always-friendly person. I've never seen three sign up for one room unless they came together. The intensity is mostly up to you. You can follow along and do modifications or progressions. Some ppl just come and do their own movements if they got the room alone--which happens a lot. If you only do some of the movements with lots of rest/breaks but stay in the sauna you will burn fat and begin to change your body. The instructors are well trained and giving you a great sequence of exercises. The more you do the movements and holds, the deeper you'll go in your fitness and transformation. I'm super fit but these exercises still train me. Honestly their slogan, "More workout in less time" is totally accurate. The infrared is healing and pain-relieving in so many ways. The heat training helps to regulate appetite, reduce cravings, and soothe the nervous system. The list goes on. But I'm grateful for this location. The owners are welcoming and friendly. Ken makes it feel like the show "Cheers" lol--where everybody knows your name, if you know the theme song. The fact you can come anytime 24 hours/day is SO helpful. I don't only recommend HotWorx to my clients for sustainable fitness and body recomp, I pray one day to own one. I've heard SO MANY stories of people's pain going away, people losing 50-100+ lbs, people gaining strength they never had before. I love that this one offers classes for kids and Saturday morning class. My daughter is 11 and she enjoyed working with Karina. There needs to be more kid friendly yoga studios. I haven't tried the other classes, but I highly recommend any class taught by Karina because she is passionate and patient with everyone. They offer passes for drop-in days, several visits and unlimited access memberships on their website.
