Omgg, amazing! It's such a cute studio and decorated so beautifully. The front desk staff was very welcoming and gave me a tour, showing me where everything was and introducing me to the instructor, Kellis. She was super friendly, explained the equipment we'd be using, and had me grab some bands and weights after I took off my shoes and put on my sticky socks. The restroom was spotless, and the shoe area was clean and organized as well. This was my first barre class ever, and I was definitely nervous, but Kellis made it feel so inviting. As soon as we started, I knew it was going to be a great class. I've honestly never started shaking so quickly--within the first 10 minutes I was already feeling it! This was my first time there and it felt so welcoming from my instructor Brandi to the rest of the class. They all helped me fix my postures and movements in a helpful way. The studio is a bit small but the ac and music were pumping at just the right beat to keep me motivated and cool. Brandi's class that I took was strength and it involved multiple slow movements that involved a stretch band, two different size weights and a yoga mat. As someone newer to exercise, the class was a bit challenging but a really good push to take things to the next level. They offer excellent different specials from those for first clients, passes and monthly memberships. They even have discounts for first responders, students and teachers for monthly memberships. I haven't seen that yet in my experience. I would definitely return to this studio for another class. read more

Today was my first time at this studio. I signed up through Class Pass and got there 10 minutes early in case I needed to sign waivers, but it was a very easy. They already had a list of people who had signed up through the app. It's still a good idea to get there early because the room is small and it fills up quickly. I cannot say enough good things about Rachelle the instructor, she was extremely nice and personable. She made the class go by so quick even though it was quite the work out. I definitely recommend this studio if you need a good energy boost too. read more

I went to barre3 today in Henderson, and I absolutely adored the Signature 60 class. Jada was my instructor and made me feel welcome/excited for class. She helped to modify my workout, making the workout so much more effective and hitting the necessary muscles. I love how you're on the bar for a bit, doing some cardio at another time, and then practicing mindfulness at the end. Such a fun time/great workout and will most certainly be back. read more

This place is awesome! I tried one of their 3-5 class packages for new members and knew immediately I wanted to get one of their unlimited memberships. They have all sorts of offers on those, and they're really a good deal. Plus they offer classes daily, and you can really feel the difference in your body after a few classes in a row. I exercise frequently on my own, but I don't get that same push as when I go to this studio. The instructors are great at motivating you and helping you understand the movement you should feel. The workout feels relatively low impact but it's still high intensity in the way the classes are fast-paced and offer many options to push beyond the basics. I tried barre classes at another Pilates studio before, and I can say with confidence these instructors push you and don't waste any time once the class begins. Not too long ago I noticed this new gym/studio very close to home, and because I am a "gym rat" I decided to check it out.I have tried other places that advertise "Barre Class" and never liked it! I absolutely LOVE BARRE3 and everything about it!! Awesome location with large parking area. Little supervised area for small kids. The most welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable, organized group of instructors ever. Super clean, super cute place. I was so bored with my gym routine and my gym to be honest and once again YELP came through with this event! When I saw it I signed up for every Sunday in September right away to secure my spot! I am so glad I did! Unfortunately for me I decided to go hard at the gym starting September 1 so this was a bit more challenging for me than it would've normally been however, the instructor was spot on and the workout was absolutely amazing, intense and modified for those who are at a beginner level! I did arrive early however not early enough to secure enough shade to prevent the sun from being in my face during certain workouts. I am so looking forward to next week! 1 star, but if I could give zero stars I would! I do NOT recommend barre3. Avoid this place at all costs! They're undergoing an ownership change and it shows. My review is about responses I got from the new studio owner, Lauren Clift. I started taking classes here in October 2021. I had politely reached out to barre3 on 12/21/2021 about not receiving my zoom link for the livestream class that I signed up for. I had raced home and really wanted to take the class after a long day. I emailed/texted, hoping someone would see my messages and send me the link. I figured they just overlooked my name. Sadly, I never got the link. But the teacher, Savannah, emailed me back after class explaining what happened. I understood completely. Savannah was kind, apologetic, and professional. No problem. So, I was surprised when I got a curt reply the next day from the new owner, Lauren, saying, "Savannah already emailed you and explained it." Then I got a voicemail the following day, from the owner, Lauren, roughly and rudely asking if I got the reply and that I needed to confirm that I got the replies. She scolded me like I was an employee at a construction site: very annoyed and angry for asking a question and reaching out? Never apologized. Super unprofessional. Absolutely ridiculous to speak to a client like that. I'm still baffled. Customer Experience Manager, Rachel Intile, at barre3 corporate in Oregon, did apologize over the phone after I relayed what happened. Rachel said she had no idea that when she forwarded my zoom link question to Lauren, that Lauren would respond in such a way. I emailed Jackie Eklund around October with a class question, but never got a response, which was probably a sign of things to come. But I did end up trying out a few classes anyway. It has changed since I last took them. Reminds me more of aerobics. Definitely NOT worth it, because no one wants to be spoken to the way Lauren did to me, esp. when you paid money for class packages! A disorganized and rude place. If you're looking to work on those New Year fitness resolutions, barre3 HENDERSON IS NOT IT !!! If you're nervous, have questions, or are intimidated about going to a class (as I was), this is NOT the place. Maybe it was a decent studio five years ago, but not anymore. Such an incredibly rude and mean owner. Unprofessional. Horrible experience. Avoid this place at all costs!!! Instead, I do recommend: Melissa Wood Health for virtual classes. She offers a free 7 day trial. LOVE her yoga, Pilates, and guided meditations. Also, Pure Barre and Club Pilates in Vegas and Henderson!! Both offer free introductory classes and are amazing. At Pure Barre Las Vegas, the owner, staff, and teachers are incredible! They check in periodically to see if there's anything you need and to see how it's going, greet you warmly when entering, introduce you to the teachers, and even checked in with me after class when I was a newbie. A really efficient chain studio. I would definitely take Pure Barre classes when visiting other cities. Customer service is top notch. Also, I love the method. Highly recommend their free foundations class to start. Club Pilates is similar customer service wise. Perfect for beginners. You have to complete 10 beginner classes before you can take an intermediate class. Great if you're just getting into fitness. Club Pilates in Spring Valley has an older demographic of students, not sure about the other locations. For more advanced fitness seekers, I love Studio Remixx over on Eastern Ave! Love this new workout method. The owner/teachers are so talented and they offer $10 introductory classes to introduce you to the Lagree movements and megaformer machine. Jackie is the best! She's the owner and was fortunately my instructor for my first barre class here at barre3. Everything from her friendly demeanor to soothing voice is everything that you want in a fitness instructor. She was motivating, inspiring, and humble. She corrected my form when I was lacking and motivated me when I was on the verge of giving up. Bonus points for putting together an A+ soundtrack. Jackie timed the songs seamlessly with her workouts-slower songs for stretching and upbeat songs for more intense workouts. If you haven't ever tried a barre class or am curious about it, this is the best place for you to start! Barre is a full body workout that uses light weights, a rubber ball, and your own body weight for a lean dancer's physique. No two classes are ever the same, so you will never get bored. I absolutely loved my first barre class and can't wait for my next! There is a children's playpen located inside the studio making it convenient for moms to spend an hour to themselves while their children are being cared for. The restroom is fully stocked with anti perspirant spray so no matter how much you sweat, you won't leave smelling bad. There is also workout clothes on sale in the lobby and a filtered water dispenser for guests to use. Barre3 is one of a few spots I've tried for barre workouts. Based on dance training, the instructor models small muscle movements using bands, balls, and body weight to create a long and lean physique. Obviously regular practice and a healthy diet are key to seeing results, but you can feel the impact with even a single session. It's pretty common for participants to joke about how sore the classes make them, so consider yourself warned! I've met the owner, Jackie, a couple of times and even took a class with her; she is super welcoming and professional and the studio itself is gorgeous- lots of light wood and glass, small childcare area, and a little boutique space. Other instructors I've taken have been very personable, too, but I don't have a favorite to recommend. They use a soothing voice to contrast the crazy effort they're asking you to use, and are helpful about providing modifications and correcting form, which is essential to any effective workout. NOTE: There's only a single-use bathroom for changing, so come early or come dressed, but either way, come ready to sweat- those tiny movements are no joke. read more

I have finally completed 365 classes at Barre3! I was in a significantly compromised physical condition as a result of several illnesses, surgeries, and cancer. I was unable to walk more than a few steps without pain, my knees and back would not support me, my feet were painful to walk on and as a result of treatment for cancer, I have a cognitive deficit which makes it extremely difficult for me to understand directions and instruction. I share that info with you so that I can also share Barre3 of Henderson with you. Barre3 of Henderson is not your usual "gym" or "pilates" or even a usual "Barre" studio. It is not a place full of 20 year olds in perfect condition knocking out exercises like a TV commercial. Barre3 is a supportive community, a place for all levels of fitness, all ages and for all body types who wish to begin, maintain or accelerate their mobility, core strength, flexibility and help their body improve whatever physical condition you are in. I have gone from relatively inactive and in pain to active, strong and flexible. With Barre3 I have been able to overcome or minimize my deficits and become healthy and functional. The classes there are limited in size so you get the attention you want. Each person is treated as an individual with their own goals and challenges. The instructors are amazing and fully engaged. They can modify exercises to fit each individual in the class knowing that one size does not fit "all". They gently offer you options, alternatives and different approaches to the exercises, accommodating your unique needs. They are highly experienced instructors who have a unique and impressive attention to detail, modifying exercises so that you can achieve what you desire. While Barre3 is terrific and all of the instructors are impressive, I actively "stalk" Melody Leibow's classes as she is a highly engaged, amazing instructor, kind in her approach to each person's unique needs, experienced and with a remarkable eye and ability to modify instruction and exercises for each individual in the class. Melody has puzzled through obstacles of mine and come up with real solutions for me. I consider Melody and Barre3 an integral part of my health and wellbeing. I'm currently in nursing school and after a day of studying, Barre3 is something I definitely look forward to! Every workout is different whilst targeting almost every muscle group plus cardio! Amazing! I did a 12:30pm class on a sunday with Kristy. Me and my friends decided to try it out and we had a deal that we signed up for online for 4 class for $4. Let me tell you, that was an intense workout. Kristy really works on your core and she modifies it for you for your level. She understood that everyone isn't on the same level. She would help you correct instead of allowing you ro continue doing the wrong moves which in the long run will probably do more harm than anything. The staff was very nice. The place was very clean. They provide towels and equipment for you. and you must not wear shoes or socks unless you have grip socks. So much fun and a great workout! read more

I attended a barre class on a class pass just wanting to try something new. The facility is very clean & well kept up. The instructor & front desk receptionist introduced themselves to me & helped me to get set up for the class. I was given all the supplies I need. I found the class to be very well paced, high intensity, very challenging, and effective. The instructor was very knowledgeable about barre & how to provide modifications. She checked on each student during each drill to see they were performing the movements correctly. I found this to be a really great challenging fun workout that is very effective. I've been long overdue to write this review ! I've been going here for 3 yrs and it's the best kept secret around . Maybe that's why I didn't want to write a review. You won't need to go to the gym at all if you come here 4 days a week or more . The teachers are truly talented and amazing and super friendly . If you truly want to Change your body and get muscle and a butt, I mean a hard rock butt then you should try this class . Your whole body will feel so light but yet really strong . I've seen men come and go after 1 or 2 classes . They can't handle it .. lol It truly is hard at first but it will change your life if you go at least 4 days a week . The class starts out with a warm up with good music and then you go into stretches and leg holds to warm up... then you work at the bar doing lots of squats with your legs , using a ball or maybe bands it's truly intense , your legs will shake but it's the best workout you will ever do . I have been coming to Barre3 Henderson for over a year now. For anyone who knew me before, my only interest in something athletic was hiking, which I did not do on a regular basis. I am not someone who feels comfortable cooped up in a gym, and did not have much motivation after my personal trainer switched to a different industry to find another one. After I took a free Barre3 class for a Yelp CMYE, I found my active niche. At the time, I was in PT for my back, and my physical therapist agreed that barre is a good supplement to therapy. When the prescription ran out, I continued attending barre3 classes regularly and mainly see it as physical therapy rather than a work out (though I do glow in class and certainly feel sore a few days later). It comes down to this: every class is a bit different depending on new techniques or which instructor is teaching, it is cheaper than physical therapy, and it is fun. In the entire year I have been attending this studio, I have had only ONE DAY of back pain. Before I started, I used be in so much pain that I could not even stand up straight or lift a purse. I couldn't even touch my toes anymore, but now I can! The key is strengthening the core. The class is a 60 minute core workout but is a combination of warm-up, legs, glutes, arms (combo work because the whole body is used while the arms use weights), core, stretching, and cool down. However, the core is a focus the entire class, and my main goal is to work on the core to support my back. The best part about barre3 is that every single thing can be modified for your body. That means if your shoulders hurt, drop the weights. If you don't want to do reps on the ground, do them standing at the barre. The flexibility of the work out makes it custom to you. The instructors will ask if you have an injury and help you with your moves each class. I highly recommend that you give it a try! New members qualify for 3 classes for $30. Teachers/educators in the summer months qualify for $99 for an unlimited month (usually $170) or get a 10% discount year round on all packages. read more

Barre3 kicked my butt! I would say I'm not that out of shape but it was a consistent hour of working out which went by very quickly! I am a fan of bikram yoga and pilates and this is a good addition to that mix. Nothing crazy like a cross fit but If I were to do this 2-3 times a week results would be seen quickly I'd guarantee it. Melody was my instructor and she was very nice and introduced herself and also came around frequently to assist when needed. The studio itself is very clean and beautiful. There are items for sale in case you needed last minute clothes or even great last minute gifts for that sister yogi! A good gift would be classes as well. If you have someone on the fence about this - this Barre class rocks! Whole foods is next store as well as Lyfe cafe which I'll be reviewing shortly! Everyone here was very friendly and warm unlike some of the places I've been to in LA. Same great LA studio feel but nicer people!! Oh and they have child care- what? Child care. Im not sure what the additional fee is but you can see the little ones right outside the room. Good way for mommas to get the workout in and the kids there seemed very happy and they had friends. Play date and work out session in one! After 5 classes, I can safely say that this is just not the workout regimen for me. I get an okay workout, but I just don't really like the format. The teachers are great--especially Dana McCullough, the best ever yoga teacher over at Body Heat--and I can definitely see how it is great for some people. They provide childcare for while you are in the classes which again would be great for some people. Also, the people who really looooove this method have to really love it financially--for 170 bucks a month I expect to be sore after every single class AND have a golden-dipped protein bar after each class. I wasn't sore after most of my five classes, so I just don't feel it's worth it. Pro tip: Even though you can work out in bare feet, I suggest grippy socks. What a fun and challenging class! I signed up for 3 for $30 online without any trouble. When I arrived for my first class, the lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful in getting me signed in and showing me around. They offer child care for certain classes, so there were a lot of new moms dropping off their babies and tots before class, too! The kids looked like many of them knew each other and felt totally comfortable going into the little playpen they have set up. Instructor Stephanie (awesome name, naturally), had such a great positive energy and really made the class enjoyable! She offered excellent adjustments throughout the class, as well as recommendations for accommodations for any injuries students might have. I tried a 7P.M. class which was not only my first class at Barre3 but my first barre class, ever! I was a little nervous, especially walking into the small (but efficient) studio. (They have one studio for classes.) Everyone was so welcoming from start to finish, even other class attendees, the place smelled wonderful and fresh and was very very clean. That's important to me when I go to a studio like this! Also, it should be noted that although they have some great retail items, they certainly don't push it on you. Ironically, that makes me want to buy something more like the crazy-cute yoga/sport pants they have in there. In the studio room, there are windows on two walls but as it was an evening class, the shades were drawn on one side. I appreciated that since I had no idea what I was doing going into it. As for the barre class, Melody was a great encouraging instructor but kept the class moving at a great pace. I already feel sore this day after! I could tell I would walking up my stairs when I got home. :P That's how you know! While the class was hard, it was a manageable hard, and one that I look forward to experiencing again. read more

I am still a total "newbie" to barre3... but so far, I am in LOVE! I've been out of the workout game for about 3 years and the workouts offered here are exactly what I've been needing! The studio is located in the heart of green valley. I love the open airiness when I enter, but it's not huge in there either. Restrooms are single person only and feature some toiletries to freshen up after your workout. There are no showers. Bonus- they have a play lounge for kiddos! It's $5 for each child/visit. I've taken my daughter once and she had a great time playing with all of the toys. They also offer play lounge bundles to save you some money if you plan to take them with often. My only wish was that they offered more play lounge times! As a working mama, I would love to squeeze a quick workout in on our way home! The class is perfectly paced and challenging (well- so far it has been for me)! The instructors help with modifications and are very encouraging. I'm excited to continue my journey at Barre3 and have already devised plans on how to get all of my friends to join me! read more

This place is very clean and nice inside. Class room size is cute and small but enough for everyone in the classroom. My instructor was really nice and she helped concentrate on me and my boyfriend since it was our first time. A lot of men don't attend this class but I asked my boyfriend to come. He did a fantastic job keeping up. The workout was nice and I like the varieties of exercises in this class. The girl who greeted us and got us started was also friendly and nice. I liked how they didn't pressure you to sign up or force you to join the membership. They went with the flow and made us feel welcome and comfortable. First time here and very pleased. Beautiful studio! Friendly staff and incredible workout. I work out 3 to 4 times a week and consider myself to be in really good shape.
