Dear Linden Grill, I have only one request....... PLEASE stop being so heavy handed with the salt. My porkchop sandwich was so salty that I couldn't eat most of it. The wings are the same way...Salty!! Thank you in advance read more

We walked in at 11: 40 , two customers at the bar in one seated. There were three of us the waitress came and took our drink orders, then asked for our food orders. For lunch. Didn't hear from her at all after 35 minutes, two of us put a couple dollars on our table and left. And the third stayed another five minutes and was never approached again.. So we went to Bruno's around the corner. I'll never go back there ever. read more

OUTSTANDING!!! Really really really good. I love the friendly people. You know, "old folks" say, "Clean guess a king way" when choosing a restaurant. Lindens is known for their very clean premises, clean dishes and utensils. Generous portions and reasonable prices. Delicious food that will make you wanna have them bring the chef to your table so you can "make it rain" on him or her with 'stacks' of ten dollar bills. Each dish tastes like it was prepared with love. Your mama couldn't make it any better cuz if she could you wouldn't be reading my review. read more

Don't sleep on this spot! Excellent service from Ms. Ashley. We're visiting from California and after touring Notre Dame happened upon this place. So glad we dropped in. Food was great, and only surpassed by the Service we received. We enjoyed the fried Green beans, chicken wings, pork chops, potatoes and onions, double cheese burger. Delicious! read more

I only got the gizzards from there & the are great. Last time in there I saw a guy eating a burger that looks awesome.

The main thing that stood out was the great service. They were really busy; however, the lady took time to make us feel welcome and a priority. The food was pretty good. They have cooked the prok chops better the previous times I have been there but they were really busy. My favorites are the pork chops and wings. I tastes the potatoes and onions for the first time and the seasoning was fabulous. read more

Excellent fish dinners cooked just tight and very tasty. I also enjoy the Sunday Dinner because you can get a southern home cooked meal!

I came here because I was looking for a good Philly sandwich. Linden restaurant was on the list and down the road from me. I'm only mad I didn't come sooner!! This was THE BEST PHILLY IN TOWN!! Checking out the chicken livers, and gizzards. Haven't had them, but heard that they are pretty good. I've been here before and the food's always good. It's not that big of a place, but there's room to sit and eat if you want. Will update later on the livers and gizzards. read more

Linden Grill - tables and chairs in a restaurant - Burgers Near Me - South Bend, Indiana

Driving through Indiana, my husband and I were craving a burger for lunch. Stumbled across this place while looking for food in the area. Excellent cheeseburger and fries! Although it doesn't look like much from the outside, the staff was friendly and the food tasty and hot! Definitely coming back next time we are in the area! read more

Food was mediocre at best. Had the philly steak with double meat and fries. Sandwich was dry and very salty and if that was double meat, I would be super angry with the regular sandwich. Fries were over cooked and tasted like it was fried in old fish fry oil. I had Placed a dine in order that day and it took 40 minutes for my food to come out. Un exceptable!!!! I will not be returning. I would rather eat any where else on Western... read more

Cashier rude and unhelpful. Need a class in customer service. Would have left if boss did not step in!!! Food average, setting average, no restroom, just nothing to be remembered by, esp the Failed cashier girl, just sad read more

Just plain mediocre. Not much more to say. Everything from the decor, to the food to the service left something to be desired. It's one of those places that is it's hard to understand how they keep the doors open. Longer wait for food than I expected as well, there were only 2 other tables when we dined there. read more

I use a restaurant.com to purchase gift certificates for different restaurants around town. 8 pu4chased one for Linden Grill on Western yesterday for $50 and you have to spend $75. Planned on using for wings, tacos and perch for a little super bowl get together. Thank God I called ahead. The girl was rude from the get go. I told her about my gift certificate, she said she knew about it. We started piecing together what I wanted. As im trying to figire out my ratios, she says why would you use this certificate on such a small order? We have out own gift certifactes now. We don't even honor these. Then she hung up. Why on earth would you waste my time and youra then. I called restaurant.com and they were great about switching my certificate to another restaurant. Too bad Linden Grill was so rude. read more

Good burger joint right downtown. Nothing fancy, but the food is good.

I went online to LINDEN GRILL MENU, I decided what I wanted and a number of us ordered for lunch from the office. I paid the person going to the establishment, when she returned she said I owed more then I originally gave her. I looked at Linden Grill Menu again and by that menu I should have been OK. I then went on the Linden Grill Restaurant site and the prices are higher. I called, the person claiming to be the manager was rude and argumentative insisting the prices were correct. The pricing on the Restaurant site are correct but the menu site should be corrected as there are 2 different sets of pricing online. The food was good but I will not order from Linden Grill again due to the rudeness! read more
