For the last ten years we have only taken our dogs hear. We have looked at other dog groomers and have one main difference. At the other dog groomers, you pay significantly more for the same service we have been receiving at Linda's. Linda loves her animals. I say this because I have seen times when she has taken in abandoned animals and has found them homes. We were looking for 2 kittens for our home and it just so happened that Linda had found them abandoned and was looking for a home for them. When we picked the cats up, you could tell that they were cared for. Linda also provided us with some kitten food. The other thing we like about Linda's grooming is the location. Clay Rd Animal Clinic is located directly across the parking lot. When an animal is in need, it seems the two are able to take care of what the pet needs. Do not take your dog to this place!!! They've groomed my dog several times and did ok. I kept going back because Lhasa's are more difficult than some breeds although mine is cut short and it's close to my home. Today there was someone different I'd not seen there before. I took special effort to explain what I wanted. even took the dog and pointed and explained my request. She said she understood. His face is totally messed up which is the area that takes the longest to grow out. I know people make mistakes but they've groomed him a dozen times and i Expected the same outcome. I had my friend drop off my beautiful Australian Shepherd to get a light trim, and a good scrubbing. He had a beautiful long coat and mane that was cut super short, with clippers!! & his double coat clipped too. If I had picked him up, there is no way I'd pay for this. This is my go to spot , well it was... I had to work so I sent a family member to drop my dog off and pick him up. Appointment was at 9:30am, throughout the morning we called for updates and was told he was going to be ready in a few . Last call was told we was ready . So they went to pick him up at like 1:20pm and for our surprise he was absolutely the same. So for 4 hours they had my dog sitting in a fucken cage !! Took my border collie puppy for a cut, bath, and nail filing now that his hair is starting to grow. All of the staff was so kind during drop off and pick up. Also, it was so fast! I really liked that my dog didn't have to wait hours like at PetSmart. His cut looks so good and he smells amazing! Lastly, he is very happy and full of energy now that he's home. If I could give 0 stars I would. I took my dog in today for a bath, deshedding and nails clipping. Was told my dog would be ready in 2hr ended up being 3hrs waiting for my dog. They then proceeded to bring out someone else's dog thinking it was my dog. Charged me $75 for them not to even cut my dogs nails yet I paid for a service my dog did not receive. Overall if you are going to charge people over $50 for a simple task you expect the service to be top notch highly disappointed DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

My dog had been going there for years. My dog had an appointment that morning and I called at 4pm and they said she wasn't ready and that they would call me when she is ready. They called at 5:30pm in the middle of rush hour their location is on Clay. (Clay Road is a nightmare during rush hour). It took an hour in traffic to get to their location. I just had a very disappointing experience here. It was the day before Thanksgiving and my dogs needed to be boarded. I called the day before and made an appointment because of the 4 star rating on Google. I was informed that I would be able to drop my dogs off after hours as long as I coordinated the times with them. I did and we agreed on 5:45pm. The woman I spoke to said someone would be there. I called at 5:09, 5:15, 5:27 and no answer. I drop over an hour to board my dogs and when I arrived the doors we locked and lights were off. I knocked and called the number, but no response. Another store owner tried to help me and mentioned this wasn't the first time this had happened. It was very disappointing and I had to drive over an hour back home thankfully found another company that actually kept their word. The communication needs to be worked on between who answers the phone and makes appointments, and who is supposed to actually be there to accept the dogs for boarding. read more

They are literally the ONLY place I will take my dog to be groomed! They are affordable, do excellent work and always appear to show genuine care for my pet! The only problem that I have with them is that over the years the word has apparently gotten out because it's getting harder to book an appointment with them (they're always booked now near a week in advance)! I was taking my Maltese to this location, and I've tried to be ok with the owner Luz, but she is very rude and unprofessional. I brought my fur baby in on her bday for her to be groomed on February 14th at 8:30am. I'm not sure maybe Liz was having a bad morning or what was going on with her but as I checked in she was looking through my fur baby's information card and she asks "does she bite?" and I answered "I believe yes when she gets her fur cut", and Luz very rudely responded to me with "well she does" as she slams down the information card and goes to the back to get a mussel and she forces it on my poor puppy as I carried her. Now I understand that if a dog bites it can be difficult and frustrating BUT also if you're in the work field of grooming dogs I do strongly believe that you need to have patience with our doggies but it is unnecessary for her to be unprofessional and rudely gesture how annoyed she is to a defenseless dog if it bites... also I don't mind the mussel once you take my dog to the back and putting it on her ONCE YOU START GROOMING HER, but to forcefully put it on her while I am holding her is completely unnecessary and just plain rude. I could've stopped her and just cancelled but my pup really needed her grooming and it was her birthday and was looking forward to it so I went ahead with the appointment but because of this incident I will not be returning to this salon, who knows when this lady Luz will be in a bad mood and act this way plus leaving me with the worry that my pup might not be getting treated well as grooming goes on. Only groomed the body of my dog and left the legs. When I complained that he didn't look finished they argued with me. I then noticed that a wound that had been healed for four months was completely open and bleeding. Choppy job with several mistakes. I pointed these out and they said that it's not their fault that my dog moves so much. I have been going taking my dogs there for two years and the only thing I got from the owner when voicing my concerns was her shaking her head and saying it was not her problem in Spanish and then completely walked away. My dogs were there for 7 hours and clearly had no water and were not taken to the restroom. I called these guys about setting up an appointment about an hour ago. The person who answered the phone obviously has no telephone etiquette. I told her I was calling about making an appointment for my dog to get groomed. She then wants to know the date and time and I tell her. Her response, "okay, we'll see you then." I'm like "huh?" No follow-up questions such as "what's your name?" What's your dog's name and breed? How much does he weigh? Have you been with us before? What are you looking to have done? So, I then ask her if she wants to know any of these things and she says okay. I try to tell her but it seems like I'm being rushed off the phone. The woman's English was very poor and I have no problem with that. But if she's unable to complete the call in a professional manner, perhaps she should have taken a message for someone who can. I'm quite certain my appointment was not booked so I'll be looking to take my dog elsewhere. I've come across lemonade stands that were run more professionally than this. read more

I like supporting local businesses. Their prices was reasonable, the staff was nice and it was a clean location. Their hours are actually longer than posted on google so do call for actual hours. What I didn't like is that we dropped my dog off around 9 am and probably didn't get to pick him up until after 5 pm. They seemed too busy and I even had to wait when I went to pick him up too. The other weird thing is that they had a big dog roaming around the kennel area barking loudly and aggressively at everyone that walked into the facility. This could be intimidating for other dogs in their kennels and it certainly wasn't a pleasant "welcome" when anyone first stepped in. That's the only reason I gave 3/5 stars. Once they can rectify the scheduling and big dogsituatuon, to me it's 5 stars. I do plan on trying them again and hope for a better result. read more

Luz is the owner and she is amazing she works to hard to take care of everyone that comes in.... Linda is her lab that lab is great ... I been going to her sense 2009 when she open ..... so far my dogs had great experiences. She is sometimes so busy that she finishes late which I have no problem to me that is great as long as my pet is well taken care she give them food and water and walks them outside...... I just LOVE THIS PLACE some people may have had good or ok experiences but I think that is also in the mood your in.... she has great prices, takes care of my dogs when i am out of town and when i come in there clean and look happy.... I think this place has a lot of potential also she is the only person grooming so the service is personalized.... not like other places that different people groomed them and u never know chich one did the hair cut u liked.. They do a very good job with both my dogs! They cut their nails nice and short. Whenever they bathe my elderly german shepherd, she looks so pretty and doesn't shed for a few months! From drop off to pick up everything seemed fine with the location and visit, I had to wait a while for him to be seen as well as for me to pick him up but that was fine, I understand. What I was not at all happy with was once we were home, his heavily perfumed body obviously made him sick, and he was throwing up and not eating for about a day, starting right from picking him up. Again, I tried not blaming them but there was no other reason for his sudden fever, loss of appetite and nausea/diarrhea. Then anytime I tried petting him (the same day) he would cry out. After inspecting his head, I saw multiple gashes, dried bloody scabs and wounds over his head, where buzzers and scissors had been. I'm upset they would allow this to happen to not only my dog but other reviewers. I wish I had read reviews before hand. His wounds are being cared for now at home but we will not bring our dog here again. read more

How is this place not rated higher? My dog had a wonderful experience here. Typically the grooming salon is stressful for him but he was relaxed and when I picked him up guess who was at the gate, my baby! He was not locked up in some cage until I came to pick him up. They do a decent job, but the last time I brought my toy poodle they cut her pretty bad under her arm. They put a ton of medicine on it to cover the cut and said it wasn't that bad. When I got home I cleaned the cut and discovered it was a really bad cut....I could see muscle and bone in the 2 inch gash. The vet bill was just over $1,300. I called Linda's to explain the situation and ask for them to cover the bill. They lady I was talking to went from speaking perfect English, to not being able to understand me and speaking Spanish. I then brought the bill and the dog back to Linda's to ask them to pay for it. The lady said she called the owner and the owner will check in to their insurance and call me back. And guess what..... Never heard from them again. Never bringing any of my animals back to them. I understand accidents happen, but when they do you need to make it right. read more

The worse customer service ever. I called to get a price quote. I spoke to a guy name Ruben told him the breed of my dog. Gave me the price of $50. Went To go pick up my German shepherd.
