The park was amazing, and Rich who drives the Kubota is an amazing employee. He helped a handicap pedestrian walk all the way around the park along with getting to my car. He was very nice and friendly, Kudos to Rich! Your the man

Beautiful park, well kept. My favorite part of this big park is over the bridge, pass the track in the back. There are nature trails and a huge dog park. It is a safe and nice quiet area. Only time it is busy, is when there are cricket games going on. I use to walk my dog in that area for many years, it's a great park!

I love Lincoln Park because it provides a lot of shade. On extremely hot summer days this is my choice of JC parks. This park provides many activities: *Mulitple baseball fields. *Basketball courts. *Tennis courts. *Tennis walls. *Soccer field. *Race track. *ParCor. *Gazebo. *BBQ area. *Picnic area. *Chess / Checker tables. *Jogging path. *Nature walk. *Bike path *Dog park. *Playgrounds. *Carnival beginning of summer. *Farmers market. *Plenty of open areas to catch some rays or zzzz's. The park is perfect for a long walk with your best friend. But come prepared because the park does not offer any poopie bag stations or doggie water fountains.

Must update my review as much has changed over the past 3 years. Beautiful water fountains, bike lanes, new running track, and renovated pond area are just some of the changes. I am so happy the mayor invested to clean up this park. Also FYI there is a hidden hiking path in the back of he park (I believe Lincoln Park West). Just be careful of flying golf balls. Come take a walk, run, bike ride, or even a picnic. All is good!

This park is so nice to walk around or take a nice jog I have family that lives in this area and there is the most prettiest monument and water fountain right there in the centre of Lincoln Park I was having a nice time until some kids Some preteens had yelled out from across the way "hey lady you got a fat a$$!" I was shooketh! For a nice park it's got ill behaved children!

While I'm not a fan of the surrounding neighborhood, this park is an absolute gem! It's so big, nicely laid out, and is excellent to walk in on a nice day. If Journal Square had one more of these, I think people might travel from the city to visit.

It's been great to watch Lincoln Park transform. It's a testament to what can be done when city government is interested in restoration of its landmark properties. There's more to do surely, but it's a pleasure to see the good work so far. I run, bike and play racquetball here. I encourage new residents from the downtown area to make their way over to the westside and check this out... it's the largest hidden gem in Jersey City. I agree with other reviewers that policing the litter would help a lot... it's harder to enforce, but worth it... to have some plain clothed detectives in the park... or 'green police' (if there's such a thing...) Keep in mind that funds for these initiatives are limited and every dollar not spent picking up trash can go towards landscaping, security, lighting and fixing amenities like the bathrooms, etc. Remember that we can determine the kind of culture we want here... so when you visit the park, it's a good thing to greet people as you pass them in the park, it doesn't hurt anyone to simply say "good morning"... and be sure to say hello to both the parks & recreation staff as well as the police... that's what will really make the park a refreshing place... if we treat one another respectfully... Jersey City will soon get very crowded with all the development... trust me, you'll come to appreciate having a peaceful place to go like this.

My husband and I love Lincoln Park. It is huge, lush, and serves as a beautiful, local get-away in the Jersey City area. We particularly really like the dog park and go there often. It is spacious, well maintained, and has two separate areas for small dogs and larger ones. In the summer, there are kiddie pools, too, that you can fill up from the fire hydrant (located inside the park) to give the dogs a break from the heat. The ground is made of gravel and it can be challenging when it's snowed or rained because it can get a bit muddy and collect water, but really, we don't think it is that bad. The cool thing about the dog park is that it is surrounded by beautiful pathways so it is nice to walk your dog in the area too. Sometimes it can be hard to find but if you go up the bridge pathway, make a left and keep going straight, you will eventually see it on your left-hand side. We are so happy the dog park is in our area!

When you cross the highway overpass onto the other side of the park, you're led to some sports fields and all the way to the back is a dog park! I like that this dog park is super shady - as in, there are a lot of tree shade! There is a teeny tiny trail to walk your dog behind the dog park and sports fields. Across the parking lot is another small footbridge that leads you on a sort of nature walk, which actually leads to the golf course. A golf course! There's actually a sign that says, "watch for golf balls." Ha!

Five stars for the fountain alone, even though my boyfriend and I disagree on its greatness. It could definitely use some more juice, a better paint job, and a better schedule, but it's so beautiful regardless!! I have lived across the street from this park for six years and have still yet to experience it in all its glory - mostly because I am lazy and hate exercise. The walk to the track is like a mile from West Side Avenue. Sorry but you want me to run after I walk almost a mile? If it's not a mile, it feels like it, and that's all I need. It is the host to events, picnics, bbqs, cute little man made ponds, whatever, you name it, including my favorite festival that always manages to give me some sort of food poisoning. Big up to the Philippine American Friendship Day Parade and Festival! I love you, even though most of your vendors never label the food and are definitely serving that meaty goodness in sweltering bacteria inducing conditions. Crap ton of tennis courts, basketball courts, open space and the feeling of freedom. Best park in Jersey City.

Did my daily running/brisk walking session today, quiet and peaceful day for an alone time.

Pier C Park brought me straight back to present time. Standing on this little hill floating in the Hudson River, I could see the entire New York Skyline. A quote from one of my favorite books echoed between my ears: "I would give the greatest sunset in the world for one sight of New York's skyline...The sky over New York and the will of man made visible. What other religion do we need?" I tend to agree. I just sat here for a bit, smelling the roses for the first time in a while. How lucky am I to just sit here and be able to look at this? I had no real purpose in my life other than writing these silly reviews in the morning before work. I don't even know why I love it so much, but I do. It's my little creative outlet. This passion for writing slowly trickled to a passion for making videos. So, at the beginning of this year, I made an agreement with myself that I would shoot, edit, and post between 150-200 videos no matter what. I don't care what thoughts were inevitably going to creep in to try and talk me out of it, I'm doing this. Kobe Bryant, my childhood hero, put it best when he said "I'm not negotiating with myself. The deal has already been made. I signed that contract with myself. I'm doing it." All this to say, I've been on an absolute SPRINT this year. I'm exhausted and drained, but it's been worth it. I started the year with 5,101 followers, and today (Aug 6th) I have 75.5k. I hate judging things off of follower counts, but it is the best metric to depict what success looks like doing this. This past Sunday I was damn near bed ridden sick, but I heard Kobe's voice in my head so I dragged myself out of bed to Hoboken to go do another video. I got off the Path train and started walking, when I turned my head to the right and saw one of the most beautiful views I've seen this year at Pier A Park. A huge grassy plain, with a full view of the New York City Skyline from nose to tail across the Hudson River. It felt like a green screen. It made me pause and be present for the first time in awhile. I've been running so fast at this goal that I haven't really appreciated the journey at all, but this view forced me to stop and smell the roses. I just sat here for 30 minutes thinking "damn life is so beautiful and human beings are amazing." It reminds me of that allegory in the Alchemist when the wise man tells a boy to go explore all the marvels of a magnificent palace, but instructs him to carry a spoon with two drops of oil without spilling any. The first time he comes back with all the oil but misses all the beauty of the palace. The 2nd time he comes back having seen everything there is to see, but has no oil in the spoon. The wiseman concludes by saying "The secret of happiness is to see all the marvels of the world, and never forget the drops of oil on the spoon." You're probably like wtf is wrong with this guy hijacking this review of Pier A park to trauma dump, and that's fair. I'm a little crazy for sure. Shoutout to Pier A park though. It's nice to stop and smell the roses every once in a while. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov__
