ZUCCOTTI PARK.
Theodosios C.

PUBLIC PARK: A Park which was created in 1968 formerly known as LIBERTY PARK PLAZA. In 2006 the Park was renamed in honor of the Chairman of the Real Estate Company BROOKFIELD PROPERTIES which owns the land. A nice Park to relax and take a break after walking around NYC for the day. WORTH VISITING.

Zuccotti Park used to be called Liberty Park. it was destroyed during the 9/11 attack and is now fixed. This is a park located in the financial district. It has some really nice monument here like the flower and the red statue thing (which I am not sure what it is). It is also very close to Ground Zero. This is a public park and it is actually a big park but it is on a long strip shape. So when you look at it, it doesn't look big. Yeah

Rose III is a beautiful sculpture in Zuccotti Park. The artist is Isa Genzken. She made it on 2016. The rose is made of aluminium and painted steel. It weights 1000 pounds. It's cool to go in the area and be surprised by it. Isa age skin likes roses, you may have seen Rose II in the MOMA sculpture garden. Zuccotti Park used to be Liberty Plaza Park. The Park is very close to Ground Zero.

Zuccotti Park was once called Liberty Park which is a 33,000 square foot privately owned but is opened to the public. The name changed after it was badly damaged by the Sept 11th attack. The park is located at the intersection of Cedar, Broadway, Trinity Place and Liberty St. Zuccotti Park has three sculptures (used to have four). Can you find them? Located on one side, you will see a 70 foot tall sculpture consisting of red beams called the Joie de Vivre. On the opposite end you will find a 26 foot tall blooming rose Somewhere in the middle there is supposed be a business man sitting on a park bench. Can you find it? I was too caught up watching a chess master teaching a young man and his father how to play that I totally lost track of time and forgot to look for it and take a picture. The park is a nice way to people watch, eat your food, or just to take a breather and rest your tired feet. During the holiday season the light up the trees and it is certainly breath taking and picture worthy.

Me & Russell Simmons at Zuccotti Park

That's me and record mogul Russell Simmons at Occupy Wall Street the protest movement against economic inequality that began in Zuccotti Park, located in New York City's Wall Street financial district, in September 2011. It gave rise to the wider Occupy movement in the United States and other countries. Russell Simmons is an American entrepreneur, record executive, writer, and film producer. He co-founded the hip-hop label Def Jam Recordings and created the clothing fashion lines Phat Farm, Argyleculture, and Tantris. Simmons' net worth was estimated at $340 million in 2011.

Pretty lights at night. Several benches to sit on. 3 statues/art-one of which was moved post 9/11. They have barriers surrounding the park so there's only one way in and out. Didn't understand that unless construction was just completed or something.

I'm so glad they gave back (more like evicted from) the park. I missed walking thru here on my way to Century 21. The holiday lights is my favorite. http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/X9BvIZygf3tQ_FRgoMPP0Q?select=8zdKJrpRonw1Z0r9YkJpnQ

Absolutely stunning and beautiful, at midnight when the street are empty, no massive crowds of people, It is absolutely amazing this view to myself, Highly recommend it for Photographer Bloggers and influencers

I actually really like this place, which might surprise you considering the rating. But come on people. It's just a slab of concrete. Yes, there are trees and benches. It's pretty. It's pleasant. But that's about it. Is that really worth five stars? I don't think so.

The park had a nice Christmas vibe.

This is a cool little park that we happened across over Christmas. It's in the Financial District and looked very picturesque with a fresh coat of snow dusting the park. I'd consider it the perfect grown-ups' park, an ideal spot to have lunch, read a book, meet someone, or just enjoy some fresh outside air. If you plan on having lunch here, Zuccotti has benches as well as stationary stools and tables. It's not a park that's "good for kids," because there's not much for them to do. No playground or jungle gym. I found it to be a quaint park, and an ideal place to take pictures during my visit.

I can't wait until this turns back into a little park in the midst of a bustling area. Don't get me wrong, I believe in the right to protest and as long as the park owners are cool with it being used, hey no problem. The park is a small oasis, some tables, some trees, grab a NYC hot dog and some nuts from a vendor and enjoy a quick lunch. You can take a few minutes and fuel up before you tackle your shopping trip at Century 21 or do battle on the subway. NYC seems to always be moving, sometimes it's nice to have a little place to stop, it's either here or a bench at City Hall Park nearby.

This statue of a commuter survived 9-11. A better image for Zucotti Park than those occupy phonies.

But Madison Square will always be my favorite. It's kept fairly clean and is a nice size. Mostly for the working professionals and students in the area, it's an awesome spot to eat lunch, with a great food selection in Flat Iron. It's home to the OG Shake Shack, which stands there til this day. There is also an awesome dog park there. This park is great at all times of the year, so don't hesitate to go now.

Besides that, I never paid much mind to the park, especially in light of the fact that it's not in my stomping grounds. Nevertheless, I had just finished brunching nearby and since it was such a gorgeous day out, I decided to take a walk through the park and check it out. MSP is not large - the center of it is a large green space with paths on the perimeter that contain walking paths and benches. In addition to the Shake Shack, there's also a small seating area nearby where you can sit and eat, or just hang out. The park is ideal of people watching, eating your lunch, or just walking around a space that contrasts the hustle and bustle of the surrounding areas. Because of the weather, it was a little crowded but still pleasant. Overall, MSP is fine - it's not worth coming to unless you're in the area IMO, but a pleasant spot nonetheless.

We were on our 4th game of 5 on 5 on this slanted, slippery court with double rims as the Midtown skyline looked over us. We had gone 3-0 and already on wobbly legs but wanted one more to really push ourselves to exhaustion and be WHOOPED. A group of 5 17 year olds showed up and I was lowkey like damn I don't wanna play these little kids for our last game but whatever, they got next. We were going back and forth, and to be fair they were actually pretty good but just too frail to give us any problems. At 5'10 174 lbs, I'm a BIG guard. I'm left handed, but shot a right handed floater fading to my right as I'm trying to get better. If you can hit a weak hand floater on the run you will be tough to stop. I bricked it and this little 17 year old kid goes "that's a TERRIBLE shot" looking at me dead in the eyes. Like bro y'all are losing and you suck why you talking? He woke me up and I started actually trying really hard and lowkey busting their ass... but tbh normally I'm not even that good. It was just one of those days where everything was falling. I hit a 3 and yelled out "THAT'S A LAYUP." I drove hard left, euro stepped and hit a tough finish through 2 and yelled "I"M TOO BIG," while flexing. I switched onto little homie and he took a terrible stepback shot after I turned him 3 times and bricked it. I just whispered to him "I don't even gotta say nothing after that one it speaks for itself" which really pissed him off. Then I hit the game winning 3 and did the Dame wave to him as he walked off the court PISSED as hell. I sat down and then he got the courage to say "STOP TALKING SO MUCH" while he put his hand together to mimic me YAPPING. I almost stood up and said "HOW BOUT U GET WIN?" But then I realized I'm a grown ass man and there is absolutely no reason to be jawing at this little kid on a beautiful Friday in New York City. I just kind of laughed at myself and asked what is wrong with me lol. All in all, these runs were kind of weak and this court is in horrendous condition. The court on the westside highway is still my favorite in the city. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov_reviews

St. & Broadway New York, NY 10001 The Bucket Located in the Herald Square Holiday Market adjacent to Macy's is a chocolate chip cookie kiosk. An entire batch is immediately scooped up with a french fry scooper and handed off for your enjoyment. The Bucket: The primary ingredients in these cookies are all butter, brown sugar, and premium Callebaut chocolate. As soon as you try your first one, you will be far from done. They are warm and crispy on the outside while gooey on the inside. As a bonus, the holiday themed visual design on the bucket was hand drawn by Ian's sister.
