Cute pocket park located near the heart of Times Square with bocce ball pits, food trucks, open green space and lots of seating

Beautiful park in midtown! I found myself wandering here almost every day because it was near the hotel I was staying at. Day or night, it's always busy. Grass is incredibly well-maintained and closed off. Lots of seating to just relax, read a book or enjoy a coffee or pastry from a shop nearby. I found myself wandering here around 1am and it was still full of people just hanging out!

Cute park conveniently located near Times Square. I came in February at night and the winter village was still up. There were several people ice skating and in bumper cars on ice. There was also an outside bar that served hot cocoa topped with whipped cream and candy, as well as other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and snacks. There were also other vendors but I didn't get a good look at what they were selling. Overall this is a fun place to enjoy the outdoors in the city.

This park is ideal to visit during the holiday and winter season. I came here during the week and it was pretty crowded but it could have been worse. There were lots of vendors to choose from that were selling food and merchandise. The highlight of the park during the holiday/winter season is the Ice Skating. There's a large Skating ring in the middle of the park and Christmas music plays in the background while you skate. It makes the perfect date night or if you want to be a tourist in your own city. I am looking forward to coming back and trying out some more vendors.

Simply an amazing place to visit over the holidays! So festive no matter the time. So many fun shops and delicious food vendors to choose from where you can find bites that suit your fancy. Also, should you have the chance be sure to reserve a spot to ice skate, not to be missed. Certainly perfect for the winter season!

I visit here often as the Christmas holidays approaches. I am always greeted by the aroma of warm apple cider, people ice skating, and ornaments. These small businesses gather each year to bring good tidings of great joy to NYC. The Bank of America's Winter Village is open daily from now until March, ice skating is free and cozy heated igloos are available for rental. The Loge still makes nice warm cocktails, I had the Fireside Cider to take the chill off a chilly November night. The line for the S'mores N'more are around the building (as usual). I recommend The warm and cozy Fireside Cider Caramel apple cider, with Wild Turkey Bourbon. The S'mores N'more are worth the wait....You've never had a S'more like that...trust me. Get comfortable. Seatings available. Great way to bring in the Christmas Holidays with friends and fam.

A beautiful filled with foliage, flowers, and trees. There are multiple tables and chairs throughout the grounds. It's a nice park to have lunch or catch up with a friend. There are vendors on-site and in walking distance. They have movie in the park and various concerts

Winter village at Bryant park is an experience that must be done from food to shopping to ice skating there is something for everyone and truly a Christmas tradition... I had a blessed day trekking into nyc and Bryant park made that more fabulous with gifts for my family I didn't know I needed..: food for miles and great photo opportunities... I had a wonder time I didn't want it to end

Had to visit Bryant Park for the winter village Christmas market and to see the skating rink in the tree. It's quite lovely. It does get incredibly crowded so go early or be prepared. Lots of food choices and shopping options

Visiting Bryant Park's Christmas Village was such a fun and festive experience. There were so many food options, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. But our favorite was by far the reclette sandwich with prosciutto on a perfectly toasted French baguette. The variety of vendors made it easy to snack, eat, and shop all in one place, with plenty of unique gifts and holiday finds. The park itself was beautifully decorated, with a stunning Christmas tree that made for perfect photo opportunities, and the ice skating rink added to the magical holiday atmosphere. It's a must-visit spot during the Christmas season in New York City.

Such a great green space amidst all the skyscrapers and nearby Times Square area. Accessible by multiple train lines at the Bryant Park or 42nd St/Times Square stops. Relax on the grass or in the shade under the trees, or join activities and events (check their website). Have been to a few Latin dance events, holiday events, even square dancing and outdoors Muay Thai classes (see fitness) to name a few. This summer, we enjoyed live Broadway performances on 2 Thursdays. Gave us a chance to listen to songs from musicals we haven't seen, and familiar Disney songs. At noontime though so was pretty hot (hat and sun umbrella helped). There's the Art Cart. Check out free workshop schedules and sign up, if needed. Materials provided. I joined figure drawing with live models and portrait drawing (which I haven't done in years) . Pointers were offered/given and were appreciated. Restrooms available. By 42nd st,-usually long lines. The ones by the carousel were clean. We also just go to the NY Public Library buildings.

We were able to walk through the park and look at the attractive crafts and items made locally. I found that there Christmas tree more beautiful than Rockefeller Center. There is also a covered bar to people watch

My first experience at Bryant Park was during the Bank of America Winter Village, and it was an absolutely fantastic introduction! There's so much to see, do, and taste--it really captures the holiday magic of New York City. The 2025 Winter Village features: * Ice Skating Rink: The 17,000-square-foot rink is the centerpiece, offering free-admission skating, high-quality rentals, and even free skating shows and events. Perfect for beginners and seasoned skaters alike. * Vendors and Shops: Curated by Urbanspace, the European-inspired open-air market has artisans from NYC and around the world. Housed in beautiful "jewel box" kiosks, the holiday shops offer local crafts, artisan provisions, and exquisite gifts--perfect for holiday shopping. * Cozy Igloos: For a more private winter experience, you can dine or enjoy cocktails in your own igloo. Each session is 90 minutes, accommodating 1-8 guests, and keeps you right near the rink for prime winter vibes. * The Lodge: The rinkside bar and food hall is perfect for après-skate drinks or snacks. Two full-service bars, a variety of local food, and even big screens for game day viewing make this a festive hangout spot. The layout is well thought out and easy to navigate, with tons of options for shopping, food, drinks, and activities. We spent a few hours eating our way through the village, checking out the beautiful Christmas tree, skating rink, and vendors, and enjoying the holiday atmosphere. Plenty of bistro tables were set up for sitting down and enjoying your food comfortably. Bryant Park is also just a short walk from Radio City Music Hall, making it a perfect stop if you're in the area with limited time. This experience is budget-friendly for singles, families, or friends, and it's a wonderful way to immerse yourself in NYC holiday magic. Highly recommend for anyone visiting during the winter season--there's truly something for everyone! Bryant Park has been added to my must-do-during-the-Spring list for another experience. I'd love to take a day to work from one of the bistro tables in the park, enjoying the sunshine and listening to the sounds of the city. Maybe in 2026!

    Is there a boat tour?

I didn't happen to see any boats or anywhere where a boat can be placed.

Any smoothie/ juice shops close by and walking distance?

Juice shops and smoothies are a staple in Manhattan. I'm sure you will find numerous places to get one.

Has any "Yelpers" rented an "igloo" at Bryant Park? I know the costs, I'm interested in your experience with food, drinkand customer services....was it worth it? Details? Details! Yes I want details? Thank you!

What's the oldest you can be to go ice skating and how much to rent skates?

We have seen very young ones on skates. It looks like as long as a parent is holding on to them. They even have snowmen and penguins to assist children to skate. Those though a child needs to be a certain height to use those.

Besides that, I never paid much mind to the park, especially in light of the fact that it's not in my stomping grounds. Nevertheless, I had just finished brunching nearby and since it was such a gorgeous day out, I decided to take a walk through the park and check it out. MSP is not large - the center of it is a large green space with paths on the perimeter that contain walking paths and benches. In addition to the Shake Shack, there's also a small seating area nearby where you can sit and eat, or just hang out. The park is ideal of people watching, eating your lunch, or just walking around a space that contrasts the hustle and bustle of the surrounding areas. Because of the weather, it was a little crowded but still pleasant. Overall, MSP is fine - it's not worth coming to unless you're in the area IMO, but a pleasant spot nonetheless.

We were on our 4th game of 5 on 5 on this slanted, slippery court with double rims as the Midtown skyline looked over us. We had gone 3-0 and already on wobbly legs but wanted one more to really push ourselves to exhaustion and be WHOOPED. A group of 5 17 year olds showed up and I was lowkey like damn I don't wanna play these little kids for our last game but whatever, they got next. We were going back and forth, and to be fair they were actually pretty good but just too frail to give us any problems. At 5'10 174 lbs, I'm a BIG guard. I'm left handed, but shot a right handed floater fading to my right as I'm trying to get better. If you can hit a weak hand floater on the run you will be tough to stop. I bricked it and this little 17 year old kid goes "that's a TERRIBLE shot" looking at me dead in the eyes. Like bro y'all are losing and you suck why you talking? He woke me up and I started actually trying really hard and lowkey busting their ass... but tbh normally I'm not even that good. It was just one of those days where everything was falling. I hit a 3 and yelled out "THAT'S A LAYUP." I drove hard left, euro stepped and hit a tough finish through 2 and yelled "I"M TOO BIG," while flexing. I switched onto little homie and he took a terrible stepback shot after I turned him 3 times and bricked it. I just whispered to him "I don't even gotta say nothing after that one it speaks for itself" which really pissed him off. Then I hit the game winning 3 and did the Dame wave to him as he walked off the court PISSED as hell. I sat down and then he got the courage to say "STOP TALKING SO MUCH" while he put his hand together to mimic me YAPPING. I almost stood up and said "HOW BOUT U GET WIN?" But then I realized I'm a grown ass man and there is absolutely no reason to be jawing at this little kid on a beautiful Friday in New York City. I just kind of laughed at myself and asked what is wrong with me lol. All in all, these runs were kind of weak and this court is in horrendous condition. The court on the westside highway is still my favorite in the city. IG @jnov_ Tiktok @jnov_reviews

I would say I am a 3.5 level player and this is a better setup for pickleball. These are not full size courts (length or width) and you play with the green children's ball due to the plastic material that the surface is made out of. I came here for one of their HIIT tennis classes on a Thursday night and was surprised at the condition of the place: it was still partially under construction, the courts are not all the same length, the floor is uneven in spots, and it feels like it was haphazardly put together. As for the class, there were 6 of us split between 2 courts, which were each different sizes. The instructors weren't that great and I feel I did not really practice anything beyond trying to hit a ball made for kids. My friend and I could barely hear each other with the music so loud and the acoustics so poorly set up. One instructor didn't know how to volley and kept hitting the balls so high but then commented we weren't hitting the shot properly. The other was nice but when you use the children's tennis balls, there is a different weight and bounce to them that is not the same as a real ball (which we were told bounces too much on this surface). All in all, don't waste your time or money on this location. You also won't get your heart rate up all that much too if you know how to play tennis...unless you're running to get out of the way of balls that bounce from the other court or off the walls/columns/windows.
