If I could give no stars, I would. They billed my elderly sister for amounts that her insurance paid for in full, but they had not posted the payments to her account for the past 18 months! Then they turned her overhto their collections dept. This sounds like a scam to trick elderly people into paying amounts that they do not owe. And their customer service is horrible. I waited 2.5 hours on 2 separate occasions over the past 2 days to speak with their billing dept and no one ever picked up, and this was the number provided on their invoice to make payment or ask questions. Very poorly run company and impossible to deal with. Now I'm putting together proof that her insurance paid in full for the last 18 months so I can get them to reverse the charges they have billed to her. They are absolutely horrible. I received a text message saying I had a past due balance on my son's account. I logged into the website they sent on the message and it said the balance was $1.10. I thought no big deal, I'll just pay it. The online portal said there was an issue processing the payment and to contact customer service. I called customer service for them to tell me the balance is $77. I told them that the online portal told me it was $1.10 and she said it was for services in Dec 2024 as well as July, Aug, Sept of 2025 and that insurance wasn't paying for the 3 months in 2025. I was confused because my son had RSV in Dec and thats when he was provided a nebulizer and that was it. I told the lady on the phone that he only received medical supplies in Dec 2024 when he was diagnosed with RSV. She goes on to tell me she'll submit something to the billing department letting him know that he didn't receive medical supplies in those 3 months and that it would take 1-2 months for me to hear back. I was super frustrated because that is insurance fraud and I never received a bill in the mail or via text/email and they felt the need to tell me it was past due. I would never recommend this company to anyone. They are awful!! read more

This company is HORRIBLE. Find another supplier. They have the employees to call you 100 times to get you to order more supplies but no one will respond to a question or concern. I have been going in circles about an issue for 6 months. When I actually get a human on the phone it is like they have no idea what I'm talking about. We start over. Horrible place to do business with. Tried to get someone from their local office to call me back four separate times. Left a message with their answering service each time. According to people at the Lincare office they never received ANY of the messages that the answering service left them. All I wanted to do was ask them a question about my prescription and how long it might take to get my new CPAP machine. What a mess! And, they said on the day after Thanksgiving, that it would take many months to get my new CPAP. They said that they were still trying to deliver CPAPs that were ordered in September! Worst experience EV E R. I left in tears. I had high hopes of getting my cpap problem solved no way. The woman presented me with a machine they gave me no choice of machine just this is what they send us. She had very few headgear to choose from and the kept saying they did not have my size then told me to Bobby pin it to my head because I told her it kept falling off followed by this is what they send us. When I asked about a display model she said they had never had it... they couldn't get it YET ITS ON DISPLAY for around a year. The kicker came when she told me to disconnect the headgear from the hose to go to the bathroom at night that people arent supposed to remove their headgear to go to the bathroom... picture anyone let alone a senior fighting to get it disconnected and walking around like a circus elephant with a very obstructed view. Obviously she has no idea about sleep equipment or she would know you could break your neck doing this. It only got worse from there. So out of desperation and a broken machine I took the one presented to me went home without a headgear in tears.I'm so tired of being tired. I'm getting a rx on Monday and paying full price somewhere else where I can get the service I need for life saving necessary medical equipment. This is only the tip of the iceberg this nonsense has been going on for years but you are forced to use them by insurance. I should not be up at 4 in the morning writing a negative review because the company charged with providing a good night sleep has me so upset I can't sleep. The staff at the Earth City Office are very helpful and considerate however the warehouse suppliers are terrible. They will call you every single day for weeks on end trying to get you to reorder filters, hoses, mouth or nose pieces etc. I repeatedly told them when I needed something I would call them. I finally put them on my blocked caller list. When I did call to get some parts I was told I was inactive because I hadn't ordered in 6 months. Ummm I am only supposed to replace the part I need every 6 months. I have the distinct impression the warehouse workers are just trying to send you a bunch of stuff to bilk the insurance companies. read more

I tried to order CPAP supplies but was told that my account had been deactivated because I did not order new supplies every two weeks. If you read instructions that come with supplies most are washable. Lincare makes their profits by selling you stuff you don't need. Now in order to get what I need to have to have my doctor order it. When I called their national order line the person helping me said "call your local office" and they hung up on me. I have no complaints about their oxygen concentrator supply section which is serviced locally. read more

Lincare is not a good company to deal with. I got my equipment and a bill and thought that would be that. But I kept getting bills, come to find out I was actually renting the equipment. They also started sending me extra supplies I did not need and did not request. Of course they also billed me for that. I got fed up and called them. They sent someone out to pick up the cpap machine. I also gave them the extra supplies that were still packaged. Then I waited. I waited for them to credit me for the supplies I sent back and did not use. They kept sending me the same bill and no-one could seem to get me a credit. I called a number of times. After. 5'months of this I finally got someone to tell me that they don't credit for returned items because it is medical supplies. What! So someone got all my supplies back at the office and did not have the decency to send my stuff back to me or give me a phone call so I could come pick up MY property? How unethical can you be? So someone stole my equipment and resold it or trashed it? Had to pay the bill! Hate hate hate Lincare. They don't care!! read more
