Lincare needs more staff. I have been calling regarding bill and put hold each time. Each time, I hung up when the on hold time got past 20 minutes. Tried to use on line chat feature and was told chat line was closed due to being too busy, "call your local Lincare". I called the local Lincare and once again was put on hold for unacceptable period of time. Lincare portal should allow customer to see itemized bill. Only able to see amount due. I need to review itemized bill because I have not received any supplies for quite a long time and keep getting paper bill with no explanation for what was supposedly shipped to me. read more

I have to say I had a minor issue so I went in and I actually suspected I would be told they could not help. The minute I walked in they smiled and promptly listened my issue and quickly took care of me. I was very impressed and the always seem to over deliver on customer service. read more

Lincare has terrible customer service. The parts replacement calls began almost as soon as I received the machine, & I received multiple calls a day. The phone numbers are not recognized so you have to google them. I never received the first set of replacements. I called the billing to make sure I wasn't charged. Do not THINK of calling the billing number to ask questions or ask to be routed to it. They don't answer. I finally gave up & returned the machine using the local office. The LOCAL OFFICE picked up the phone immediately and When I returned the machine, billing called using another undefined number & left a message--turns out you need a five digit code to speak to someone. I hope one person reads this & chooses another company. I selected this company based on my healthcare provider's recommendation. Insurance is too expensive to be wasted, as well as my co-pays. read more

They do not return calls. You wait on hold forever. I cannot imagine continuing to trust my loved one to this mess of a company. They are a medical supply company! I have no idea how they stay in business. I would certainly take my business elsewhere and if the hospital sets you up with them, request another company. There are two or three in town. The local office is ready to deal with. However, their billing and national office need a lot of help. They send you threatening letters to send you to collections when they haven't applied the payments my insurance company sent them. Then they send you bills that don't match your insurance EOB. But don't worry, those amounts they say you owe will change with the next bill they send you. When we asked a representative why the amounts are different she admitted the billing department puts in whatever amount they want and will figure it out later. When we asked her if it was legal to try and charge customers for amounts they don't owe the representative's reply was "probably not." We then asked how much the CPAP machine cost and the representative told us it depends on who you have for your insurance company. WHAT?! That is not how purchasing stuff works. The representative told us each insurance company has an allowable amount they will pay for equipment so Lincare will over bill the insurance company to maximize how much they can charge a customer. I could have paid $600-$700 for my machine elsewhere. Now I'm paying close to $1500 because they won't tell you upfront how much the machine cost. AVOID Lincare for your medical supply needs unless you like dealing with companies that have deceptive billing practices. read more

I used to have Apria and had to change due to insurance and it was the best thing to happen. Christy delivers my supplies directly to my front door. She even gives me reminder calls the day before to see what I need. They made sure I had supplies when I traveled out of state so I didn't have to do anything. Love them. read more

I worked with Amanda she was very helpful and accommodating for my circumstance. Billing was not an issue at all. I'd heard horror stories about Lincare s customer service and billing but honestly no idea why. The Staff here is awesome. They even call to make sure I'm getting my supplies on time! read more

I called the after hour phone on Wednesday and Thursday because my concentrator stopped working, they said someone would call me but no one did. So Friday morning I called the Bloomington office at 8:30 and by 10:00 AM they were here with another concentrator and oxygen tanks, so thank you to the Bloomington office for getting me supplies read more

Lincare has terrible customer service!!! One star is way overrated !! First I was told by my Doctor's office I would get to choose a mask that was comfortable for me. When I went to pick up machine I was told I could not choose I had to take the one they choose ( even though they have a huge poster in the waiting room that explains pick the one that's right for you). I was told I had to use that one and if it did not work out I could get a different one within 30 days. I tried it for 2 weeks and when I called they would not return my calls. I finally called my doctors office to get help. They contacted Amanda the manager and she told them she was calling me but I was not returning her calls. I was told to call and talk to her directly, when I did they whold not let me talk to her. Again I called my Doctors office to have them call for me. I finally got to talk to Amanda and she gave me her personal cell number to call on. I finally got them to order my new mask with great difficulty. When I told them which mask I wanted because it was what my doctor recommended I was told it was my choice and I didn't have to follow my Doctors recommendation. After a very lengthy conversation I finally got them to send me the one I wanted. This was a Friday morning. I was told it would be shipped overnight to me. If she had time she would get it out that afternoon and if she didn't she would get it out Monday morning. When I had not received it by the next Friday I called and was told it was shipped. She would not confirm when. She very rudely told me she knew it was shipped because she had a tracking number! As of now ...2 months later I still do not have my mask. I have called the local office and Amanda's personal number and no one will return my call. Unfortunately this is they only option here for getting the equipment. TERRIBLE!!!! They are able to bill my supplies to my insirance, but after MANY repeated attempts and literally hours on the phone with customer service they still claim I have no insurance coverage and are trying to bill me full price instead of the rate negotiated with my insurance for the "rental and monitoring", that totals WAAAYYYY more than cost if machine. After 2 years of dealing with this asked to get replacement machine through a different local company and was told I have to be STUCK with this garbage with Lincare for 3 MORE YEARS! Never answer phone. Deliver wrong equipment and later than scheduled for patients who need wheelchairs or walkers or oxygen for safe return to home from hospital or care center. Never rely on this company. read more

These people should not be in business they seldom if ever answer the phone so you can order sulpus which you have to call in to get them the next week but nobody picks the phone up .I have spent hours on the phone only to be put on hold and the phone is never answered.I have called the main office to which they got ahold of them but still I am sitting home once again because I have no oxygen to go to the doctor on .As far as I am concerned they could not run a pop cycle shopand I am 68 years old and been in business myself but this is the worst of the worst to do business with, good luck with them I am planning on sueing them very soon because they are causing me to miss way to many appointments from not having any oxygen. read more

Worst billing department ever. It''s not just that it's bad. If you do talk to someone, they make it clear that they do not care. You could easily be on hold for an hour and never have someone pick up. They send you late notices and threaten collections when you are completely paid off. We were charged $142.73 on our Visa bill and I already paid them $142.73 through on line checking. Now I have a credit for $70 . Called customer service and they have no clue what happened and apparently they don't have access to my account? Now I must wait for a supervisor to call me back , after spending 58 minutes on hold . I traveled to Bloomington, IL for a conference early in July and brought my CPAP machine with me. CPAP machines are for people who suffer from sleep apnea - they produce negative air pressure to help people breathe during the night when they normally cannot. This was the first time I traveled with my machine, so I forgot a piece (of course). The thing won't work without the "nasal pillow", which attaches to the machine and fits over the nose. Without that piece, it is impossible to use the machine. This is what fell off my headpiece onto the floor of my bedroom, so I didn't notice it was missing. I spent a terrible night sleeping without it the first night of my trip. The next morning, I called my sleep doctor and asked if he could find me a medical supply house that sold CPAP equipment so I could buy a new nose piece. He called right back and directed me to Lincare. Lincare basically only sells respiratory medical equipment, including all things CPAP. Not only did they not think it was bizarre that I was calling to see if I could come by and purchase the "nasal pillow" for my CPAP machine, they also had a bunch in stock for $20. YES. Easily navigable from any place in Bloomington (basically about 15 min away from every major place in the city) and tons of parking. They're open during regular business hours and they seem to not be super busy all day so you can actually talk to a human about what you need. I was in and out in about 10 minutes and they knew exactly what I needed. The full, non-insurance price for the piece was amazing considering I thought it was going to be like $100. Nope, just $20 measly dollars that I had cash to pay for. Thank you, Lincare, for having CPAP supplies readily available for purchase without a prescription and without asking too many prying questions about why people may or may not travel with pieces of their machines missing. read more

So I read the other 5 star review and thought great. I have a cpap machine I bought at another business which has since gone out of business. It recently started doing something odd such that I could not use the machine. So I called Lincare and they called me back and said they that they could sell me parts, could assess the machine (after my doctor sends a request for them to assess the machine?) , but they would not work on or repair my machine. I have a Respironic brand machine which is the most popular cpap mqchine out there. I asked if Lincare sold Respironic machines and they said yes. So i asked if they service those machines and they said yes they do. So why won't they service my ,machine? BECAUSE I DID NOT BUY IT THERE. imagine if you bought a car and moved and the dealership in your new home refused to work on the car because you did not buy from them. What about people who move to our community ? They are out of luck as well. I think you can find another mrrchant who is not so quirky. read more
