At one point, I was upset with Lincare. However, things have changed drastically. The ladies in the office are fabulous! They've become like family. We go to the office to exchange my O2 tanks, and we're welcomed with open arms. Ally and the other two ladies there are the sweetest. I am so happy I didn't leave this company and go elsewhere. I've tried 3 DME companies, and as most providers will tell you, they all suck. Lincare is by far the worst. I received a call from my provider confirming my 90 day appointment. I told them I hadn't heard from Lincare at all. They called a week later and scheduled me for an appointment. I had to block the toll free line (India) because they could not understand why I wasn't ordering supplies from them. I spoke with a woman (manager) at the local office, and a man. The woman was rude and gaslighted (gaslit?) my provider because they requested the mask that I use (15 years), and din't check every box. When the man called (also rude) to try to get me to order more supplies and still had my order wrong. Hopefully I'll be able to switch companies (again). read more

Ever since the company was bought out by a large conglomerate based in Clearwater, Florida, the quality of their service has diminished. Customers were urged to begin using the new online portal. A fine idea if it actually worked. Key problem areas: online chat--no one's home; toll free number to call with billing questions--you won't be directed to a person and the only option is to pay a bill; supply orders--never acknowledged & never filled. Call the office requesting supplies for your tanks or concentrator and chances are excellent you'll be sent the wrong items. In short, this former customer recommends you go elsewhere. read more

Just spent several minutes on hold with Linncare trying to confirm what I needed to bring in for my appointment. Finally drove down to their offices to see what was going on, keeping my phone on hold while I drove. At the office the receptionist told me Monday mornings are really busy. There were 2 receptionists and the office manager at the front desk and the phone never rang once the entire time I was talking to her. I showed her my phone, which was still on hold (now at 49 minutes on hold), but it was apparently not ringing through for anyone to answer. She failed to see the irony in that. Then she told me that anytime I get put on hold to dial back and select the prompt indicating that I am a physician (I guess I'm just not intuitive enough). I spoke to the office manager. No concern. No apology. I showed her Linncare's local reviews (2 out of 5). She guessed I wasn't the only person unhappy with Linncare and that was that. So, I won't be going back. The local Santa Fe office helped get me set up with CPAP, but the national organization could be better. Until you tell them to put you on a do-not-call list, they hammer you with calls and texts to update your equipment. When you do ask for a new mask, twice, I have been sent the wrong item, and if you do not return the wrong item in 60 days, they keep charging you for it. Ripoff. No one told me about returning the wrong mask. Avoid doing business with Lincare, it is fundamentally a sales organization to try to get you to keep buying replacements for items that are not worn out and you do not need. read more

Have had nothing but problems with the Albuquerque local office since March 2024. Had to make multiple phone calls to be able to pick up an Overnight O2 Sat test device, to get Home O2 delivered, to get Home O2 picked up, to make an appt for CPAP Mask Fitting. No semblance of customer service or concern for patient's condition or time schedule. I will say that home O2 delivery with Joel and CPAP mask fit with Phillip went well, but other than that, you're on your own. Still waiting on a call from "Manager" Amanda. I was prepared to give Lincare one star as there were no return calls over a two weeks. So I went in person to determine if I was scheduled to see a RT. What I found is a severely understaffed operation of a core of dedicated people including the local manager.Phillip , my PT was knowledgeable ,patient and courteous as well were as the front receptionist folks. They acted as triage specialists who handled the severe mefical cases first and other routine requests lingered. By arriving in person to request an appointment , I was treated quite well. read more

I have been a LINCARE ABQ for a few years now. Because of my illness, I have to travel for treatment--to Denver, Boston. That requires a lot of coordination--concentrator arriving on time, in place; portable concentrator for flights, etc. At home in ABQ, situations arise--oxygen and supply needs, portable concentrator maintenance, etc. Naomi, the LINCARE manager, and her crew have come through 100% of the time. With customer service both professional and pleasant (and lots of patience), I have full confidence that should I need their help, they will be there to do what they can to ensure my health and well being. They are ridiculous...can't do anything for their clients. I went twice to the ER because they wouldn't come check my machine. I wasn't getting no oxygen. They don't give me tubing so I changed when I need to. They said tubing would be sent though the mail. They said I couldn't change company for 5 year. Wow...never heard of that before! Eric set me up with a new Cpap machine along with taking the time to thoroughly explain the different masks available. While I have been on Cpap therapy for fifteen years, I have been havIng major issues with my current mask and machine such as dry mouth, dry eye syndrome, mask leakage etc. For those of you that have an old machine (mine was over 8 years old), get the new Resmed 10. It allows you to go to the app to track your night's sleep. I love the fact of the automatic humidifier and automatic pressure settings. My new mask has the air vent that sits at the top of the head gear so no more blowing air into my eyes. This has been the first time in years where I got a good night's sleep. I'll be honest. Initially it took me a year to get used to the Cpap machine (the old machines were noisy for you and your bed mate). But the current machines are quiet. The newer face masks are comfortable and nose pillows don't leak air. Getting the CORRECT fit is crucial. Turns out I had the incorrect size of pillows that created leakage. Take control. If your mask does not seem to be working, go back to your DME specialist to correct the situation. I was fortunate to have Eric at Lincare in Albuquerque to help me get my life back. I just called to get the price of a CPAP item. First I had to go through the menu, then answer a bunch of questions about my account, then I got transferred. I have now been waiting for one hour and 4 minutes for LinCare to pick up. I did not count the number of times the message told me how much they care about me and my time. They clearly couldn't give a you-know-what. Before I hang up I want to tell my health care provider that LinCare is terrible and I will purchase this item from Amazon, which doesn't require me to hang on or answer lots of identification questions or go through a menu. read more

Delivery guy was wearing mask and walked very slowly. Told me they were going to be there between 11 and 4. Wife called trying to get delivery time narrowed down to no avail. I'll make this as short as I can. Medicare guidelines permitted a new cpap machine 2/26. The Lincare office which approves or disapproves orders for cpap machines had 2 months to approve my doctor's request for a new machine. I made many calls to Lincare to learn what the issue was. Two weeks ago I talked to Kathy who told me the machine was almost "in the mail". I called today and was told the referring doctor's order expired 4/25...five days ago. I have moved from Seattle Wa to Moriarty, NM and just have to say I am extremely displeased with the lack of response I am getting from Lincare in Albuquerqe. In Seattle I was able to get all my CPap supplies from Performance Medical who met all my needs at the drop of a hat. Not so with Lincare. I got my CPAP device over 3 weeks ago and am STILL WAITING ON THE SUPPLEMENTAL O2 I need badly!!! Having moved from sea level to 6,200 feet above sea level I find myself waking up at night gasping for air, despite the use of the CPAP itself. I have called numerous times trying to get my o2. For a company that is nation-wide, the website necessitates a more user friendly format. For example, there is a section with information about Lincare's "patient portal" but it has NO way to register to gain access to one's account. In addition, there is no access for patients to submit questions or concerns to the company through e-mail. E-mail is the preferred contact by most individuals in order to have documentation that they were contacted -- their telephone means for contacting Lincare is not adequate. read more

Marty and the inefficient staff at Lincare not only can't find the paperwork for the order, but he is incapable of the common courtesy of returning my three phone calls. Was told there were orders in front of mine.....No kidding Dick Tracy! Would have to wait at the least another week because "they are the only ones in Albuquerque that take medicare orders." Well now that is where Lincare has not done their homework. They are NOT a monopoly. Despite that lack of organizational skills they have no customer service skills. My latest experience with Lincare. 2-2-18 - DME order sent to Lincare ABQ office. I received no confirmation from Lincare about them receiving the DME order or ordering them. 2-13-18 - Called OmniSleep and asked if they had sent the DME to Lincare. Answer was yes, but they would resend. 2-13-18 received a call from Lincare supply center in Florida stating they had received the supply order request and would ship supplies. 2-19-18 - Have not received any supplies as of 8:30am. Called Albuquerque Lincare office, waited for someone to answer. When they finally did, was asked to wait for a Naomi (I think) to call me back at 9:30am, waited 2hrs and I called back and talked to Brittany. She connected my with the supply center in Florida. The supply center individual stated they had no record of any supplies being requested or shipped under my account. Supply center individual stated they would ship my required supplies and should receive them in a week. I asked him if he could email me a tracking number for my order, he stated he would text it to me, after I hung up I called the Office here in Albuquerque and asked to talk to a supervisor to complain about the service. Had the same experience as Mike's previous review. I have been working for 4 1/2 months to get established in their computer system to receive oxygen tanks. They are Extremely inefficient and never return phone calls. As of today, I'm still not in the system. My experience has been, that they will tell you anything just to get you off the phone. I can't understand how a business like this stays in operation. If this wasn't the only place that accepts Medicare, it probably wouldn't be open. Called a MONTH ago giving description of supplies needed, Dr. faxed over info, they took my insurance information. I called weekly asking when and where my goods were. Kept getting pat answer "We're working on it". NEVER hear back from them, even after 4 phone calls to LinCare. Horrible service....I could have died and they would still be 'working on it'. It's not rocket science to call their warehouse in FLA and order. Instead, I got my supplies from eBay and waiting on prescript (see my Dr. Tuesday) to try Apria. I was tailgated by a Lincare driver, as was another car in the lane next to me, recently in Rio Rancho. I was going the speed limit as was the driver in the other lane. Apparently the Lincare driver thought that by tailgating he could move two vehicles out of his path so he could go faster. When the Lincare driver moved into a left turn lane I saw him flip me off in my rear view mirror. I called the local office and the manager was unavailable so I left a message with the receptionist who assured me the manager would call me the next day. This is one of the worst businesses I have ever had to have dealings with. I am disabled and Medicare only deals with two companies in my state so my choices are very limited. They lie about what they have sent you. They even provide a date that they say they sent the product. They charge you for things that you never received when you get your bill, but they only send a bill out about every six months. How are you supposed to know whether they sent you something until you get the bill. Then they tell you that you waited too long to call. They don't send an invoice with your order. You call the local number a dozen times and they say that someone will call you back, respiratory, and a manager but they never do. I finally wrote an email to corporate, didn't hear anything so I called them this morning. They assured me that the manager who oversee's New Mexico would be calling me today. Unfortunately, Lincare Albuquerque office provided the worst possible patient care. Order for my nebulizer was received Tuesday afternoon, I was informed on Thursday that additional documentation was needed from my physician and that they would call to obtain. (one whole day passed with no action towards that goal!). Was told the same thing on Friday morning, that they would call my physician. The only way this was accomplished was by me calling Lincare corporate office and staying on hold on a conference call while Albuquerque staff made the call. This is not rocket science! I used to be the one who received durable medical equipment orders and assumed that the equipment was needed for the improved health of my patients. I and the team I worked with took our patients' needs seriously and provided the care they needed. If at all possible, I will not use Lincare in the future should I ever need this kind of care! read more
