My young children purchased a gift card for me at the beginning of April for my birthday, and just a few weeks later, the business was sold with no notice to customers. When I tried to use the gift cards, I was told they would not be honored, with no exceptions and no grace period. While I understand that ownership changes happen, it's incredibly frustrating that a business could purchase an existing business, and would refuse to stand behind purchases made just weeks prior. There was no communication, no transition period, and no effort to make things right for customers who supported the business in good faith. The new owners stated that the other Milano locations would honor the gift cards - that is not true. All are independently owned. At a minimum, a short grace period would have shown respect for loyal and LOCAL customers. Instead, this experience left me feeling taken advantage of and unlikely to return.

Once again, Yelp did not steer me wrong. They prefer for customers to make an appointment, however they will take walk-ins. The first time I visited, I walked in and didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes (probably because it was at lunch time on a Friday). I've scheduled appointments on their website as well as on the phone. The site is pretty straight forward to use and it will send you a reminder of your appointment. I usually get pedicures, but I have done a basic manicure as well. Tina is my preferred nail tech. She's very sweet and gentle. She hasn't cut or knicked my cuticles. I personally prefer a more quiet experience when I'm getting my nails done and Tina keeps the talking to a minimum. She always offers me a beverage too which is nice. They have a decent sized waiting area with adequate seating. The waiting area has never been crowded when I've visited. They also have a full bar. Sometimes, the staff will offer snacks like nuts, cookies, or crackers. One time they even had Jello shots lol. The staff is always so friendly and professional. This is probably one of the best nail salons that I've been to in Pearland.

The service itself was going to cost $75, and I already spent $24 on transportation to get here. When I arrived, I was told that the nail technicians had already left because no customers were there. I find this very unprofessional. If the business is open until 7:00 PM, I would expect at least one or two technicians to remain available during posted business hours, or the business should indicate that it is no longer accepting customers. The open sign was still on, which made it appear that services were still available. To make matters worse, I now have to pay for another Uber to travel to a different nail salon, adding even more unexpected expense and inconvenience. As a business owner myself, and someone with a background in management, I believe business hours should be honored and customers should be able to rely on the hours that are posted. Terrible Service and Unprofessional Response…read more I came to this nail salon with a specific design request and spoke directly to the owner. She assured me they could do it and assigned me to Lee. During the process, I told Lee twice that it did not look like the photo I showed him. He told me, "Once I add the shellac, it will look pretty." Unfortunately, the final result looked nothing like the picture. I told Lee directly, "I asked you if you could do the design in the photo and you said yes. This is not even close." He simply smiled and shrugged his shoulders like he didn't care. When I went to explain the issue to the owner, instead of offering help, she turned around, walked to the back, and started talking to Lee in another language, completely ignoring me. I asked for a refund, and they both continued to ignore me. Very disappointing experience. I was misled, the quality was poor, and the customer service was even worse. I would not recommend this salon to anyone.

I was the only person here and it took tech over 2.5 hours to do my pedicure and dip nails. 2. I paid to upgrade my pedicure - my feet are still rough, I don't get a massage that comes with the upgrade, she chopped my toenails so low without asking what length I wanted, three of my toenails are only half way painted and I still have a lot of dead skin all over my feet. I paid extra for gel, and at least three of my toenails are only halfway painted . I did not think that I had to watch every move that she made so that my pedicure would come out correctly, or else I would've corrected her before she ruined my toenails. 3. My nails are AWFUL. There are air bubbles under all of my nails, the topcoat is messed up on every single nail, the shape is not what I was asking for, three of the tips that were applied to my nails do not even cover my entire nail. Every time I spoke up for her to fix the shape, she told me that she was not done yet. I have never had nails look this awful. I asked for square round yet I got some type of fanned out, square shaped nails, that I did not ask for, and my toes nails are round and chopped off. Neither of which I asked for either. The thing that irritates me, the most is that this is the one time that I had a sitter come over so that I could get out and pamper myself for my birthday. I finally got in, as they moved to a new location. I opted for a non gel pedicure and was surprised by the experience. I am used to having my feet soaked prior to service and after reading about the difference. It's more hygienic to do it waterless. Everything lasts longer! Crystal did not service me, but she noticed that I was new and made sure that I was comfortable and enjoyed my experience. This is a black owned business and the ladies were great. The ambiance is still in progress, but it was clean and neat. She makes her own scrub that is available for sale. Parking is ample and it's next door to Ross! I highly recommend this place as they take detailed measures to make sure your feet or hands are manicured to perfection!
