Amazing!! Do you…read moreneed Japanese/ Chinese/ sushi in lake como?? I mean? I do! I come homeeee to Italy for a month every year. I explore, visit family. Eat, breathe and live Italian for 24/7!! And I sneak in the Italian Chinese!!! Cause it's the best. In Rome, I have all my goto cinese spots. Well almost everywhere in Italy really. I travel a lot and I can find them all! Mangia riso? Si, grazie! Lago di como! Aka lake como! My first time here. Yelp is pretty much non existent here. TripAdvisor and Deliveroo lead me to this. No Uber's! My Uber eats only had the Macdonald next to my hotel eight smack in the middle of Como! Found a handful of Italian spots. But late night cravings! And the raining como = several deliveries from here! The food: so tasty!!! Italian menus meaning a lot of lost in translation moments but. Loved it all! The spicy Sichuan chicken was super light airy and mouth numbing. I did NOT expect it to be this spicy! It's uncensored spice. My favorite Italian Chinese dish is polo e fungi! Basically, chicken and mushroom dish with bamboo. But no bamboo scent or flavors. It is so good!! The fried rice was great too. Didn't quite care for the soup. But everything always showed up super hot! And tasty!! Menu was a hard find but the tiny menu they did have in the app worked!! Italian menu obviously so if you don't speak Italian, it'll be a little difficult! And the delivery person/ restaurant worker only speak Italian and Cantonese. Lucky I'm fluent in food and Italian! :D Finding the actual place was hard but delivery was always easy! 45 minutes! Pipping hot! And super spicy! I'll order again when I come back to Como in lake como!

I highly recommend that you make a reservation and stick to your assigned time because we tried to come early since we made it into Milan earlier than planned and they did not have anything available for us because they were so busy, so stick to your reserved time. The staff was great and very helpful. They even recommended some dessert we didn't plan to order. The restaurant was very busy and packed that Wednesday night. We tried a lot of different items on the menu, mostly the different types of dumplings. Our favorite dumplings were the soup dumplings, which tasted excellent and I loved being able to inject them with the "soup" (black vinegar with soy sauce). The pork water dumplings were also a favorite due to the burst of flavor. We also had the Xiao mai dumpling (shrimp, pork) (1 pcs), Har Gow prawn dumpling (1 pcs), and Meat & cabbage dumpling (pork backchoy) (1 pcs). The Ta Hua style fried rice (meat & shrimps) was delicious. The rice was cooked perfect, the shrimp tasted so good and everything was prepared so well. Two of the assorted homemade desserts we had was the cheesecake and the tart. Definitely recommend.

My wife spent her childhood in Malaysia and we first visited Tham's restaurant two decades ago before our son was born. We brought our teenage son this time and were excited to discover that Tham is still open in Murren and his food is just as delicious as before! His lovely wife is now working with him in the restaurant and both of them were very friendly and welcoming. We dropped by every chance we got even though we were staying across the valley in Wengen. Remember to bring cash only for payment. There is an ATM by the gondola/cable car station in Murren. The wok fried noodles with prawns were our favorite and our son's favorite was the fried rice with chicken and fried rice with honey pork. My wife also ordered the Assam Chili Chicken and enjoyed the yummy flavors. Excellent nourishment after our hikes! Delicious food, friendly owners and the best food to balance out our other Swiss food forays! We look forward to visiting gorgeous Switzerland again in the near future, especially the Berner Oberland - and we will definitely stop by Tham's in Murren the first chance we get! Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Tham!

I don't know HOW this restaurant is rated 4.5 stars. Terrible service, terrible prices, terrible…read morequality. Very poor service: old man running the restaurant was highly impatient and wife scammed us on price conversion -- tip: they only accept cash. The value is terrible. The equivalent of 60USD (50CHF) for a grease-soaked plastic container of fried rice (incredibly bland and tasteless) with a count of (5) small strips of chicken and a heart-attack-inducing greasy noodle dish, served with more salt than is in the Atlantic ocean. We tried to be hospitable and nice to the owner, but they responded with indifference, short temper, and annoyance. Insanely rude service, especially from the chef. Yeah, I understand, the prices in Switzerland are crazy expensive, but I wouldn't feed this food to my dog. Not worth $30 a dish. My tip? Don't go. Unless you want to be insulted and go to the least hospitable place in Murren.

It's decorated beautifully, with a robust menu that was thoughtfully curated by region. We started off with soups (my boyfriend had the shark fin soup, and I had the hot and sour soup). Eric R. called at 8 PM on a Saturday night and the restaurant told us we could come right then and have 90 minutes, so off we went. We had beef noodle, vegetable and tofu spring roll, xiao long bao (which they said were not soup dumplings - I didn't try since I do not eat pork), salt and pepper shrimp, Peking duck, spicy lamb skewers, and pork ribs. The highlights were the spicy lamb skewers (we ordered another set) and the Peking duck, complete with pancakes, Hoisin, shredded scallion, and julienned cucumber. Service was impeccable and friendly. The ambiance is beautiful too. I would definitely recommend coming here and making reservations rather than chancing it like we did.

The ambience offers a natural elegance with high ceilings, natural lightings, and wood trunk tables. I found the food to be mostly well executed, drawing a lot of Cantonese flavors from my hometown, which was impressive given that I could not find anyone in the restaurant that spoke Cantonese. (Amuse Buche: A) - The chicken strips were quite interesting as this seasoning style is traditionally used with jellyfish, but I assumed it was adjusted to a Western audience and it works almost as well! The prawn is a classic comfort food done well. Finally, the pickled radish is one of my favorite childhood snacks that has been seeing a resurgence recently, so I love that it is in Milan as well. (Dumping Sampler: A+) - The plating is a work of art with these majestic handmade sculptures. I enjoyed the touch of elegance on the classic siu mai, ha gow, and xiaolongbao, and some more innovative twists like the truffle dumpling that paired well given the complimentary nature of the delicate flavors. (Beef Cheung Fun: F) - 10eu is very expensive for a rice crepe, but I was surprised at the refined nature of the crepe itself. While the filling has notes of traditional cantonese cuisine, the consistency of the beef is very rough and unpleasant.
