Owner, handed us each a glass of champagne while we waited for our outside table. Service was excellent, friendly and attentive. Food amazing. Fried calamari and shrimp, extra yummy. Birra reserve even better. Highly recommended. Outside and inside seating. Owners are very nice.

Nice refreshing beer with a bit of a bite at the finish for a blonde. Started off the meal with Gamberi Black Tiger in Abbraccio Croccante (Crispy Prawns) similar dish to ones you would find at a Thai restaurant but smaller but just as delicious. Course 2 (which I was educated when our waiter asked 'All together or Courses?') Yeah so what came next was Tagliolini Gamberetti e Zucchine con Crema di Zafferona (Pasta with Shrimps and Zucchini in Saffron Cream. I don't think I stoped to put my for down. This dish was simply amazing. The saffron cream sauce was incredible, and enough shrimp to last the whole dish. Italian places in the US need to step up their ratio. We were lucky to be seated outside after about a 10 minute wait on a busy Friday evening. Our server Lucco was very sweet and though very busy did his best to be attentive. We started with sparkling water, proseccos, margherita pizza and a salad. Those were delivered promptly. Next I ordered the linguine frutti di mare which was sooo delicious and the seafood was so fresh (prawns, mussels, scallops). However, there was an unsavory taste left in our mouths after my friend's food had hair in it and she asked to return it to the kitchen. A lady server came over and aggressively insisted that the hair belonged to my friend because it had to be "extensions". This was an unpleasant experience to say the least My friend declined another dish from the kitchen and we shared my pasta which we both enjoyed but I'm sad she wasn't able to enjoy her meal. Overall, we still really enjoyed the food we did try.

FORTUNATELY, they have lovely massive umbrellas outside to sit under, and they helped immensely! They have a wonderful menu, both in Italian and English. They have very accommodating staff that are quick to tell / share of their favorite menu items (I love it when they do this!). I actually chose my meal based on their recommendation. Forgive me for not remembering what I ordered. I did start with a salad... heads-up folks, if you start with a "starter salad"... it is enough for an entire meal! They recommended wine. It was 91 degrees with high humidity, and nobody in their right mind would be eating inside, if there were outdoor tables available. We got the closest table to the lake with our lake view obstructed by tent kiosks of vendors cleaning up at 630pm. Service is good, with me getting the 13 euro black spaghetti with squid, mussels amid a delicious saffron cream. The black pasta tastes just like regular colored pasta. 3 large mussels adds flavor to the light cream sauce. Various bits of perfectly cooked squid enhances the flavor and the presentation. Wife had the 13 euro ravioli stuffed with milky cheese and vegetables julienne. Exactly 4 ravioli. I would have ordered the meat ravioli. Bill comes with a coperti, or cover charge of 2 euros per person, or 4 euros, plus a 2.5 euro charge for water, which comes in a bottle. plus the 26 euros for the two pasta dishes. 6.5 euros or $8 for mandatory water and cover charges for each couple, before you even order the first course. Good meal, but not much of a view at 630pm, with the vendor's kiosks blocking our lake view. Highest table tax yet at 4 euros. Good thing we had a large lunch, otherwise we would be going home hungry.
