Meirilene is professional, respectful, thorough, and very attentive to my preferences. I also really appreciate her transparency with pricing. Her rate can change if the regular four-week cleaning schedule is extended, but she communicates that clearly, which I think is completely reasonable. There is naturally a difference in the time and effort required to clean a home after four weeks versus going much longer between cleanings. Meirilene also works with a partner who does an excellent job with those difficult-to-reach areas, and together they do a really thorough job. Another thing that really stands out is her communication. Meirilene has always been incredibly responsive when I need to adjust my schedule. If she's running late because she's coming from another client's home, she lets me know. She's also very open to doing things according to my preferences, which I really appreciate. She sent photos of the stove and bathtub, but after moving in, I found: * Debris and bugs along the baseboards, showing the floors weren't properly vacuumed. * Mold in the shower, which should have been noticed with a proper cleaning. * Dusting wasn't completed, even though dusting high and low was on the checklist. She said she wouldn't dust because she was injured and didn't want her team member to handle it. If she wasn't able to complete the service fully, she should have rescheduled rather than charging full price. When I requested a partial refund, she declined, saying she had to wait an hour before entry and another 30 minutes afterward. With the time lost, was that the punishment for not properly cleaning my home? She did offer to come back for a retouch, but at this point, I did not want her energy in my home again. If she would have cleaned correctly the first time, there wouldn't be a need to come back for a retouch. Her response to my complaint came at 1:52 am, which felt unprofessional, and she took no accountability. Though she was highly recommended by a friend, I was highly disappointed. A simple "we're unable to move forward" would have been appreciated. Their pricing was also on the higher end compared to other companies I contacted. I ultimately hired another cleaner who had excellent communication, respected my fragrance sensitivities, and did impeccable work. Unfortunately I do regret this decision. There were several large spot stains left by former roommates that ALF was unable to get out of my carpet, which is unfortunate but understandable as those stains were quite old. What is not fine is that they ended up leaving many brownish splotchy stains on my upstairs carpet that were not there before! My upstairs carpet looks so much worse than before the cleaning. The upstairs carpet texture also felt "crunchy" after the cleaning, like there was chemical residue left in it. The cleaning also somehow surfaced a brown stain in the master bedroom carpet that was not there before. The service was also very meh. They missed their first appointment and did not even notify me until I asked about it and rescheduled to a different day. It ended up working out in my case, but might be inconvenient if you're taking off work or if you moved all the furniture already in anticipation of them coming. When finished, the techs told me the carpet would take 7-10 hours to dry when they left, but it actually took 24-48 hours. The techs also dumped DIRTY CARPET WATER ON MY LAWN?? Leaving large hunks of carpet fibers on the grass?? Excuse me. You could dump it somewhere where it might not kill a lawn. When contacted about the stains they left behind, the lady scheduled a free follow up (which again had to be rescheduled) and assured me that these were shampoo residue stains that could be removed. The techs came out again and spent 2 more hours working on the stains. I do appreciate the service, and feel bad for how much time and effort the techs spent but... it did absolutely nothing! The ugly stains are still there. They told me to pull the curtains and not to let the sun shine on it while drying, which I did, and also blew giant fans at the carpet to help it dry faster... nope, still splotchy and crunchy all over. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because the downstairs carpets do seem mostly OK (except the new stain in master bedroom) and feel cleaner than before, and because they did schedule a follow up very quickly. But personally, I would never use this company again. Here's to hoping their other cleaning services are better than their carpet services. Take heed.

I value 3 hours of my time at more than $20. If he had said from the start "Hey they are running late", I could have gone and done something else. But they were always "Just right around the corner" so I didn't want to leave and miss them. Also, he said the cleaners "Didn't find a parking lot". I was honestly pretty disappointed with the cleaning that Paixao did on my house. First of all they arrived late, which is totally fine if they would tell you that was happening which they didn't. I ended up reaching out to confirm they were coming and was told they were arriving soon. I am fine with not being right on time, but some notice would be nice especially since it was the first cleaning. Second of all they didn't give a price in advance which is fine, they hadn't seen the place and I had not asked. But their price was $100+ what I was quoted and paid before. I am fine with paying more if the job was well done but it simply was not and I feel like for the quality of work, it was way too much. They missed a bunch of spots and completely skipped dusting several areas. The "mop" they used did not clean well or properly and the cleaning solution left a pretty terrible smell. I had to communicate with the owner over text about the issues when they asked if things were okay and I assumed this would get relayed to the cleaning staff. It was not and I had to super awkwardly explain all the issues to them. They also loaded the dishwasher in the worst, most non sensical way I have ever seen and it seemed like they put away some of the stuff with something on their hands as utensils had a shiny residue of sorts that i had to wipe off. Not everything was bad but lots of things were not great and they didn't do basic stuff until I asked them to like vacuuming the upstairs. The funniest thing is my place was not even all that dirty but some of the spots were there were issues like a streak on the floor still remain. The other issue was it was very hard to communicate with them. I completely understand language barriers but in that case, I would expect the communication to go through the company which it did not. So I was left to try to explain things and ask/answer questions and I'm pretty sure 90% of what was said on both sides was ignored because of this. So overall: difficult to communicate, multiple issues with the cleaning itself, high price. I am honestly pretty disappointed and I don't think my expectations were unrealistic. Sad to say I can't recommend them and won't use them again.
