One of the tension springs broke on our garage, causing our garage to only open partially. We reached out to Chuy from CGarage Doors based on a recommendation from a family member. We set an appointment for the following day. Chuy and his partner arrived ahead of schedule and completed the job quickly and cleanly. He explained what repairs he performed and had actually done some maintenance we hadn't discussed and still charged us the initially agreed upon price, which was significantly less than another family member paid to a different garage repair company. The damned thing wasn't compatible, and they came out the next business day to get me one that worked. In a world where people make money on big sales and don't want to be bothered with nickel and dime fixes got homeowners who may not need to call again for 4 or 5 years it in uncommon to find a vendor who is so committed to good work and customer satisfaction. One week before installation date, he calls me & tells me he can't get that door anymore and convince me to buy another door, so I went with another door for which I waited another week. On day of installation he send whole crew to my house and tells me he needs to charge me extra for electrical work. When I told him I should not be responsible to pay additional charges for electrical work, he refused to talk to me and cancel the order immediately and ask his crew to go back. So now after 4-5 weeks of suffering with garage door not working , I need to find another garage door company. I would've given zero if that was an option.
