I booked a reservation online and received a confirmation number. Then received an email that the reservation was not final until they had reviewed. I called to find if and when I would know if the reservation was accepted. I could not get a firm time. When I pointed out that I needed to know soon so that I could book somewhere else if they could not provide the service, I was told they would get to it. When I pointed out that when I received the confirmation number on line I assumed I had a reservation and That I was surprised that I had to wait. We attempted to use this service. I say attempted because the Ultra Rude sales guy would not listen. We planned a large family trip to Hawaii and wanted to all ride together. Told the guy, 7 people and 14 pieces of luggage and we thought he had booked us a sprinter van. Come to find out he booked us an SUV for almost 300.00. Called to make sure we would fit and after talking to him knew there was no way we would be comfortable. Kept telling me I knew nothing about limos or how big it would be and insulted me several times. We wound up cancelling day of and found a nicer, more reputable service. Do yourself a favor, don't book thorough these guys, they are pushy, rude and will insult you at the drop of a hat! read more

We just finished a 3 day wine tour with Dakota as our driver. Super safe, courteous and willing to make mid course adjustments to accommodate our parties needs. He was always on time and made it clear when we had to leave for the next winery. I would use Dakota and Aspen Limo over and over again. I wanted to surprise my family with a Limo ride to the airport for our Disney trip so I called this company to see how much it was for airport services. The person I talked to was plain out RUDE. HE quoted me $300 for a 35 minute ride to the airport. then he had the never to ask me, "What do you think is the meaning of 3 HOUR MINIMUM?" If I needed it for a wedding, prom, napa wine tour, yeah I get it 3 HOUR MINIMUM. I'll take my business else where. read more

I booked for a limo to SFO, and then discovered that our flight was delayed by three hours. I called at 10:10 to push back our 11:00 pickup. They told me the driver had already left and we were responsible for 100% of the cost, but we could set up a new reservation for 3 hours later. This isn't a crazy policy, and while they were intractable, they were reasonably polite about it. But I'm unhappy that they wouldn't offer a partial refund -- in particular, they silently charged us a 15% suggested gratuity for the driver we never saw, which is not reasonable. On the way back from the airport, the flight arrived on time but it took almost two hours for the luggage to show up. The driver told us his boss had been on the phone, and asked him to convey to us that there would be an additional nominal charge for the wait. Turns out the additional charge was $60. Overall, my roundtrip to the airport was 3 * $84.40 + $60 = $312.40. On the plus side, they got us to and from the airport in time, the drivers were polite, and the cars were nice, and big enough for our family of four with luggage; for this reason I'm giving them two stars. But I certainly won't use them again, and would strongly warn friends against using them. read more

I've used these guys half a dozen times now and they are fantastic, always on time and always courteous. In fact, they're always extra early and what they do is send you a text message to let you know that they are there but they are more than happy to just wait for you until you are ready to go! It's just nice to know that I can have my luggage packed and walk outside and not have to wait since i know they are there. My driver's name was Lucky and this guy is awesome! Service FROM the airport was flawless-- driver waiting for me at the baggage claim even though my flight arrived early. Service BACK to the airport was an entirely different matter. I had received notification of my driver's name on arrival, but had not for departure, so I called the company 15 minutes before my slated pick-up time of 0730 from the hotel. I was told by dispatcher that my driver was "just around the corner from the hotel". When they were 5 and 10 minutes late, I called back and I was again reassured that the driver was "on his way". At the 10 minute late call, I was assured that I would get a return phone call within 1-2 minutes. 20 MINUTES late, the dispatcher finally called me back and indicated that he could not make contact with the driver. I ended up having to hail down a cab when the driver had not arrived by 25 minutes after the scheduled departure time. If you are a fan of reliability, I'd suggest using a different company. read more

I have been Limo Alpine's happy customer for the last couple of years. I travel a lot and use Alpine car service almost every time. One time I booked wrong date by mistake, the driver showed up at my house. Limo Alpine rebooked my reservation, did not charge me for my mistake since I have been their loyal customer. Today the owner picked me up from SFO, told me the entire system was down and my reservation was manually recorded due to my last minute revision to my reservation two days ago. I feel sorry for other customers whose reservations might have been lost due to the system issue. All in all, I have been very happy with Limo Alpine about their reasonable price, very professional drivers, and exceptional reliability. read more

I have never had worse customer service or dealt with a more dishonest limo service. When the driver showed up, he didn't come to the door, he refused to help bring the luggage to the car and very rudely told my mother and aunt that he doesn't do that. Then he refused to take my aunt to the airport, because he said that her luggage wouldn't fit in the trunk. Yet when I scheduled the appointment, I specifically told him she had four large pieces of luggage. This is someone who should not be in business at all as he's just running a scam. When I tried to call and complain, I always would get the same guy on the phone, who admitted he was the driver as well. This really is not a limo service company, but one guy with a car trying to impersonate a limo company. Be forwarned ... do not hire him unless you're prepared to potentially miss your flight. read more

MORE: I have used Alpine for more trips. On one occasion we hired two limos and coordinated their itinerary so the eight people in the group were shuttled to meet their own needs. I also used them to drop us off and pick us up at a college football game; thereby eliminating the hassle of driving in traffic jam conditions and paying outlandish parking fees. Picked me up on time (early, actually) for each of three reservations, with a courtesy call to let me know the driver was patiently waiting on the curb. Good drivers. Nothing can be as concerning than to book transportation as a first-time customer and wonder if you will get to the airport safely, much less timely. We booked home to SFO and SFO to home and found the owner, Ravin, very accommodating and with written confirmations with each change I made (leaving earlier and earlier with each report of crowds at SFO for international travel). Driver met us within 5 minutes of call at SFO after we had our luggage. The vehicles were newer SUVs, large enough to carry all our luggage and the drivers were professional in appearance and service as well as personable. I was referred to Limo Alpine by a neighbour who uses them regularly for business so I'm hoping this information can be your personal recommendation for great, reasonable and reliable limo services. read more
