I started going to Valeria while she was pregnant, so when she went on maternity leave I was handed over to her sister Marybel. During that time I decided to start growing them out because the eczema on my face was getting worse to the point I couldn't use any makeup. Marybel helped on tips of how to help new hair growth, and worked with me when I needed to rs because of flare ups. The process was long but I am seriously really happy with my eyebrows now. The salon itself is clean, the girls who work there are all friendly, and you can't go wrong with any of the hairstylists there. Ciara is my go-to and always will be while she's still local, but Mane + Skin is a solid spot for a more luxury cut and color where you'll leave feeling great and having healthy, gorgeous hair! Regardless of where I've lived, I've always made the drive down to see Painted Hair by Ciara specifically at this salon, because she does a phenomenal job every time. My hair looks and feels great after seeing her, she listens to what I ask for, and the colors the girls use LAST a long time. I can go 8-9 months after my appointment before it really starts to fade, and I can get away with my one-a-year treat to go see her in the Spring or Summer time. In fact, the cover photo on this page is actually my nails, and that set was only $80 & a lot more design..I've also gotten french tips here before with extra details like gems/crosses and paid around $70 This time, I got the most basic set possible: simple french tip with chrome (which chrome honestly isn't even visible & i told them i didn't like how they came out ether), and was charged $112. I was really shocked because these were the simplest nails I've ever gotten here, yet somehow the most expensive. I reached out afterward because I genuinely wasn't happy with how they turned out and asked if I could either: * have them removed and refunded except for removal costs, or * repaint them black and partially adjust the price Both requests were denied. What confused me most was the price breakdown they gave me didn't seem to match the pricing shown on either their social media or website. If these prices had always been this high for simple sets, I honestly never would've come here as my "save money" nail spot in the first place if pricing would be the same for my extra design nails by my usual girl for same price/less then these.. It just made me really disappointed because I used to leave happy every time, and this experience felt completely different. Just want to show some of the sets i got from them and how much more extra design they were and were a cheaper price, hence why i'd go back. So I'm highly disappointed:(
